Very disappointing, blah food and not great customer service by the waitstaff. I felt like I was hustled out of there from the very start. Unfortunately they aren’t keeping up with the rush anymore and are taking short cuts with food and service.

This is my husband’s favorite breakfast restaurant. He eats like a pig when we come here. The traditional breakfast is always great, and the pancakes too. Service was excellent. There was a line to the door when we walked in but we were seated within 10 minutes. Great breakfast place!

Great food nice service… And you can take a coffee to go on the house, WHAT… Must be a Oklahoma thing because you don’t get that in RI.

Not as good as it used to be. We were there about 9am this Sunday morning and it wasn’t crowded. Especially at breakfast I want good coffee and I don’t know what coffee they use but I’d rate it about 3 out of 10. I asked for crispy bacon and had to send it back. The sausage gravy is misnamed because there was no sausage to be found. Service was just ok – nothing to brag about. At the register there was a line as their computer system was down, something the cashier says is not unusual. We eventually got the attention of our waitress and paid her cash. Hint: you might want to try Square. These days there are lots of breakfast choices and at least at this location, Jimmy’s Egg needs to yp their game.

I thought the food was great. I had the fiesta skillet and it came with 3 small pancakes. They were so good. Hub regret ordering his food bc mine was big. Definitely beats ihop and I love ihop.

So the fake wife rolled into town with a real baby squirrell. That’s not important right now but… however. Anywho, before she left she said she could go for some breakfast. I’ve loved the Jimmys Egg since my younger lysergic years and this one is a mile away from the casa. I’ve never been to this one so I said, «WEAREGOINGHERE!!!» And we did… Just like all the others(Jimmys Egg, not fake wives) it was right up to par. She said the hash browns were too soggy so I told her to quit pouring gravy on them. I got that«look» I could only barely not see cause we left our sunglases on. The only complaint I ever have about Ol’ Jims Egg is the bacon. If I didn’t love the bacon so much it would be full on 5 stars but it’s just shy of crispy and too chewy for me. Kinda like pork belly jerkey. Service is always great and waitress woman did a wonderful job putting up with us getting bisquit gravy all over. When the gravy ends up on the bisquit yet under the gravy bowl on the same plate at the same time I expect to get smacked with a menu. Not this waitress. She just went about doing hard work like she knew she was getting a 25% tip. Fake wife also said the pancakes were too small but I explained to her that was so she wouldn’t get too big. She said, «STOPTHAT» but understood. That’s a minor detail the Owl prolly wouldn’t even get pissed about but he was home babysitting the baby squirrell,(remember the squirrell?). Besides us it was a very pleasant & calm atmosphere and not at all as busy as I would have thought for it being 11:00 in the AM. There’s even a Dental Depot next door with a train you can play on but I’ll get to that later. Typiclly as usual, I recomend any of Ol’ Jimmys places for the Egg. Much better than Lennys or that other place you might be able to remember the name to at this very moment. Thank you and good day…

I love breakfast like some people love cake or ice cream or cake and ice cream. On any given day, I would rather have a waffle than chocolate. It is the only thing that makes me even resemble a morning person. I plan the next day’s breakfast while consuming breakfast. I’ve been to just about every breakfast joint in the metro, most Jimmy’s locations included, so what I’m saying is I know my breakfast. And this just really missed the mark for me. I came on a Sunday early in the afternoon with my sweet parents, my kind husband and darling baby – trust me, we are an easy-to-please, cordial group. I know we came at an off time because it was seat yourself and no wait, so I thought we were set up for some decent service. Instead, we were made to feel like we were bothering our waitress simply by being there. Three of us ordered hot tea, a fairly straightforward order of tea that is served hot. I like that Jimmy’s gives you a cup and a pot of water, a lemon and honey but this wasn’t hot tea, it was tepid at best. I don’t know about you, but I don’t enjoy tepid tea. All three of us agreed that the water was almost cool to the touch. I would’ve asked for new hot waters all around had I felt like less of a problem just by being there. I’m certain coffee is easier to keep coming and piping hot, but I have a hard time believing that hot water is a tough order. I absolutely love the addition of the scrambles to Jimmy’s menu. Eggs and veggies on top of home fries and I am able to 86 the cheese(which is tough to do on an omelet) and can add pancakes as a side. This allows for the protein-starch-sweet trifecta that creates breakfast perfection, in theory. My scramble was how I ordered it, but the eggs were a little sad, the potatoes were puny and the entire dish was almost cold by the time it got to me. I ate quickly in an effort to get warm food, and it wasn’t bad, just not what I typically get at Jimmy’s. Everyone else agreed that theirs could be a little warmer, but we ate most of what we ordered so it must not have been that bad. The waitress made one attempt at endearing herself to us as the check came, but it went over like a cold scramble and I almost wanted to add a little ‘womp womp’ but refrained. Let’s be clear: I think a bad breakfast is better than a good lunch, but Jimmy’s on Hefner needs to up their game.
