It was a Friday and I felt like poop. I don’t like hospitals or doctors(find me a person who does and I’ll give them a cookie) so I naturally tried to sleep off my sickness. My stomach pain persisted and it was close to noon when I woke up. With a loss of appetite and slight headache, I finally gave in. I scowered the interwebs trying to find a doctor in my network. The only place that would allow walk in’s was Mercy. I was in and out of the place in record time. Probably a total of 20 – 30 minutes with a 5 minute wait to see the physician. In an hour I would have my prescription ready at my local pharmacy. She couldn’t exactly figure out what was wrong with me, but she did prescribe some stuff that helped ease the pain. Out of concern, my physician also talked to me about my low blood pressure and urged me to pick a general practitioner for regular check up’s. For the sake of my health, I need to take that into consideration. Easy breezy and good grief were they fast!
