Out on a Limb is such a cute boutique. While it’s not as kooky as The Salvage Room, it’s certainly filled part of the hole left after Salvage Room closed. The jewelry selection is definitely my favorite part of this store. Last Christmas, I found a beautiful pair of turquoise earrings for Mom that she loved, of course. There’s a definite earthy vibe, which I gravitate toward, and the selection isn’t overwrought with Okie Chic like some of the other stores in the Plaza. Aside from jewelry, the store owner sells upcycled clothing, candles, knick-knacks, and the like. It’s definitely a good stop if you’re looking for a present for your mom, sister, BFF, etc. Be sure to follow them on Instagram – current stock is posted regularly!

If you are looking for a unique piece of jewelry or a one of a kind outfit, this is your one stop shop! This little boutique is amazing with up-cycled dresses that compliment every body. Cassie the owner finds already beautiful pieces and turns them in to unique pieces of wearable art that’s sure to turn heads. Looking for a gift? Stop here and check out their Air Plant jewelry or snag an Oklahoma necklace! You won’t be disappointed!

Visiting OKC from Portland, OR I stopped into Out On a Limb. I was blown away by the amazing amount of artisitic and handmade clothing, jewelry and accessories. It was so refreshing to see this boutique in OKC bring culture, individualism and uniqueness to a city that needs it so badly. Thank you for being one of the pioneers of artistic expression in OKC and keep up the great work! PS-I love loving the pieces I bought!!!

If you’re into handmade dresses, fun fabrics and something very different from the normal, mass produced dresses, you’re in luck. Out On A Limb has a great selection of dresses, skirts, blouses, scarves, dresses and accessories in many different sizes and styles. The owner is on site every day, and she’s a pleasure to get to visit with. I’m pretty sure I told her half my life story within three minutes of meeting her. Be sure you make your way all the way to the back. There are make-your-own air plants, some wonderful handmade soaps, lotions and balms, more accessories, and even a few things for the guys, bowties and the like. Next time you’re in the Plaza, be sure to check it out!

I really love this shop. I always find something to buy; from jewelry to clothes to housewares it’s all so cute. The concept is upcycling. So she gets vintage clothing and alters it to be cute, more modern styles. She also does handmade clothing and accessories. The jewelry is some of my favorite, really unique. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique piece for yourself or someone else. Great shop!

I was visiting OKC for the weekend and wanted to find an area with local shops. The Plaza District was smaller than I expected(just three short blocks of vintage stores and restaurants, most of which are closed on Sundays), but it was nice to find Out on a Limb, an adorable shop that«upcycles» vintage clothing and creates something modern and unique. The store also carries a large selection of handmade jewelry. I purchased a beautiful silk kimono blouse for $ 48.

The«upcycled» look of nearly every piece whoever has altered is very poor quality. Hire a real seamstress.

Out on a Limb is a great shopping addition to the Plaza District. It has been open about six months now. The owner, Cassie, is a very talented lady. She gets vintage clothes and then uses her sewing skills to recycle/upcycle them into cute current female fashions. She also does custom work. The clothing will particularly appeal to the younger crowd. She also has jewelry, scarves, gloves, purses and other things that have been recycled/upcycled by others as well. I am particularly fond of the purses made from men’s’ suit coats. I saw one several months ago that I really liked but that was too small to hold all stuff I keep in my purse. Cassie contacted the maker and requested that she make some purses in larger sizes too. Today I found one there that was the perfect size for me and was made out of material that will go with everything. Yes, I bought it for only $ 42 and just finished transferring all my stuff into it. To be green & save some green on your fashionable items, head to Out on a Limb.
