Day to day this is a walk up café /snack bar — much like the walk up places at an airport. It looked like they still do buffet lunches for Easter etc. I got the Southwest Salad for like $ 7, it was huge with a piece of grilled chicken so the value was good. The tortilla strips on the top were soggy. :( I took my aunt to the museum and thought we’d eat there before we walked around. We should have stopped somewhere before getting there.

Visited museum to see fabulous Prix de West exhibit. Before the viewing we decided to eat at the restaurant in the museum. Have to say the only offerings at the buffet I could enjoy were the fruit salad, green bean salad and peach cobbler. The meat offerings were mediocre at best and the sides gloppy and not appetizing. I am not a picky eater and had a hard time finding something I could eat. The staff was great and the ambience was fine overall. I now wish we had ordered from the menu.

Pleasant cafeteria set-up, friendly and attentive staff. Prices were reasonable for an attraction. We wish we had gotten the buffet, though. We ordered tea for two, wich is three plates, one each of sandwiches, fruit, and dessert. That’s what the picture showed, including cucumber sandwiches. What came out were two plates of sandwiches, none of which were cucumber(for the vegetarian). The meat/cheese sandwiches were uninspired, served on good croissant but with out mustard or mayo(we did not ask for any). The chicken salad was a pleasant surprise, with apples and grapes in the mix. It night sound weird, but it was good! The third plate had fruit and dessert. The fruit was fresh and delicious. The desserts were moist and tasty, but relatively small. We ended up with enough sandwiches for three people, so we took some home with us.

This was not for me. Walking through the museum for a quick lunch was neatt and it was the highlight of the meal. As for the food, it honestly reminded me of buffet food at my grandmas old nursing home. It is probably excellent twosome folks but I am not a an of casseroles and almost everything as in that form and I had to ask what each included. It did give me a little laugh as it also reminded me of the scene in Vegas Vacation when cousin Eddie orders some of the blue stuff and says, «now don’t get stingy on me!»
