Pole Position Raceway

Good place to race, Dillon is real helpful and gave me some pointers to improve my line. This place is pretty big and they have a lot of karts. My first race, I had a bum kart, it was really slow, way slower than I thought they should be. We got a deal so we had two more races, I redeemed myself afterward, got to use much better karts and was 3 seconds faster.
They hold events here and have drinks available, as well as an arcade area if you need a break. This place was empty when we went, Monday evening. Definitely coming back for more of this!

This place is alright, except for the customer service. The track is good and the karts are great. Even though the service sucked the first time we went, I came back for the kart racing because it’s difficult to find a place with nice, fast karts.
It is not spectacularly clean inside. The staff is not efficient and at times, not knowledgeable.
We came just for fun once and back again for someone’s birthday. We called ahead to make sure there were no special groups or events going on that would make the wait time even more than it usually is. The employee told me there was nothing going on, and only a few customers in the place. When we got there, it was obvious that it was some kid or youth night, and not only was it packed, but the kids got preference for race times! So, if you’ve been waiting for a race, and someone from the youth group checked in, they get your spot, even if they got there five seconds ago, and you have been waiting an hour. When we asked the staff why this was, we got a lot of shrugs and that someone told them to give them preference. ?! We got two races in over the course of two hours. It was ridiculous.
There is some sort of waiting area with couches and TVs, an arcade area and a birthday/​eating area. There are snacks for sale.

Pretty fun place! No real wait time for a Wednesday night which was awesome. The games they had with the seating area was a little out dated though.
Overall my racing experience was fun, the cars were fast, the track was a little difficult for newbies, the staff wasn’t extra friendly but they didn’t suck either.
The only thing that I hated was how smelly the helmets were so be prepared for that.

The racing could be great but I saw so many things that could be improved compared to other places I have raced. Their wait times are extraordinary! Also, when people are blocking and the get flagged and still do not move over the place should hold them accountable and/​or cut their power to get them to pull over. Each race lasts about 10 minutes but they were only executing about 2 races per hour which is why the wait times are so long. Other race tracks I have been too prep the next set of racers during the ongoing race and they depart almost immediately once the race is over — not at this place so you spend A LOT of time waiting!!! They could improve their revenue generation and the customer experience but making some simple changes. If you have a lot of time to waste then this place should be ok.

My 12 year son and I had a blast racing each other, and driving like I wish I could on the street! The track was nice and tight, decreasing radius corners made it fun and challenging.
The staff was very helpful and made sure we understood the rules, and how to operate the cars.
Anyone who gives this one star is well… that speaks for itself.

This track is a blast. Do not listen to the guy who said the staff is rude! The staff has always been helpful and fun. They will give tips on driving and have even taken the time to race my son, to help him get better. This track also runs some great specials. And is one of the largest indoor tracks I have seen.

My experience at pole position is such a disaster. I went there this afternoon to go for a ride, and the staff there is very rude. The track is terrible as well. I went to many indoor go karts, and this is the worst one. The cars are terrible and have poorly performance. The staff is extremely rude. They would instruct the customer by yelling and the manager just stood there and doing nothing. The manager’s name is Greg Slaton and he even wouldn’t take customers complain.
I world never go there again, and do NOT recommend it to my friends! Be aware, your might be treated poorly and wont get the best karting experience u expected!!!

so I took my little cousin here (age 8) and we raced on this indoor track… it was amazing… these are go-​carts on steroids. the track is pretty big and you get to do 10 laps… each one takes somewhere around 40 seconds but you are literally flying… the atmosphere here is great too… you get a racecar helmet and for about 10 minutes you really do feel what its like to be a race car driver. this place is great for all ages… an excellent birthday party idea for kids or adults… and you get a printout at the end with your times and how you did compared to the track record and in comparison to everyone else that has ever raced on the track!!!
