Taco Bueno

I really like this Taco Bueno. It’s fast, good food for not a ton of money, and the staff always seems like the best in the fast food business. You can understand them, they repeat your order back and get it right the first time, and they’re friendly when you get to the window, even though by then they’ve had to move on to the next customer. All of this adds up to the most important aspect of fast food: I’ve never gotten home with a wrong order, or without something I ordered. This is a feat since I’ve been coming here since high school.
You always end up waiting a few minutes longer, but I honestly find that reassuring. I don’t really want to eat something that was totally ready to go before I ever order it.
Mexi Dips and Chips is always a good choice, especially if you can share with someone else. I love their platters, but they are such a calorie bomb, I usually stick with chicken soft tacos, which are really not that bad for you.
Minus one star for a bit of a lack of flavor in the chicken that goes into my standard order of the chicken soft tacos. I always wish it were either more seasoned, or grilled, or just more flavorful in some way. This is either boiled or poached or something, seemingly without salt or anything. This could use an upgrade.

We were welcomed out loud when we walked in. The salsa station, dining area, and counter were all clean. The young lady who was sweeping came up to take out order and even apologized for our (non-​existent) wait.
The food prep area was sanitary, everyone was focused and working. The team was even upbeat and joking with each other this time.
The food quality was back up, and I’m happy to report that the issues from before are gone.
So glad my Bueno is back!!!

Even with tha manager actually working the front line, this place is filthy. Bits of meat, cheese, spilled drink, wrappers, chips, sour cream, etc. all over the counter, floor, and drink area. The salsa bar is out of stuff, so customers keep going to the counter to ask for every item. Not a single napkin in any dispensers.

The place is normally clean. Only go for lunch time. Love the salsa bar. Rating a 3 because it is fast-​food. So, that’s probably a 4.5 for a regular restaurant. The mucho nachos are mucho grande. It’s only a $ 1.50 more than the regular nachos and you get twice as much. I’m much more satisfied with bueno then with taco hell.

Best fast food taco place. Great service! Not like Taco Bell who screws up your order EVERY SINGLE TIME!

Went through the drive through around 2:15 today and got screwed… another Chicken Taco Salad poorly made missing sc, guac and jranch dressing. Went back inside and talked to the directly to the guy working the inside line, not drive thru, and not only did he remake it, but he apologized on behalf of his co workers and gave me a free chimicake for my trouble! Someone at TB Corp needs to give this guy a raise for making a tired long time customer’s day!!! Best TB experience this month so far!!!
