This place was so good, I was a little skeptical scout the location and the décor but the food was fantastic. The food more than makes up for the décor. 10⁄10 would dine again

Excellent food, clean place. Picture menu is always a plus because we all eat with our eyes before we actually eat the food. I ordered the three street tacos with beans and rice with a side of guacamole. So tasty. Guacamole was smooth, creamy, and subtle. Salsa was fresh, crispy, slightly spicy and worth just drinking. Street tacos with asada packed lots of flavor. Food comes out quick. Not greasy and service is awesome. Will return back.

Absolutely the best place in OKC to get traditional(street) tacos. You will be amazed. Nice family owned place way off the beaten path. recent promotional email from Unilocal Viva Taqueria featured a picture of a plate of tacos from Taco Don Nacho but curiously didn’t list the restaurant. Go South on Council Rd off I40 maybe 4 or 5 miles.

Their food is spicy and very tasty. I love their burrito mojado. The service is a little strange since you order and then sit down and wait. The ladies do a good job of keeping everyone’s order straight. The drinks don’t get refilled very often. You usually have to go to the counter for that.

Called in order with plenty of notice. Items missing and rude staff. Office will never order from them again. My food had no flavor

TDN is by far the best Mexican restaurant I have had in Oklahoma, to date. I am a simple man from California who loves tacos and TDN knows how to serve them up. To all you bland-tongued Americans looking for ground beef tacos, do your thing, but if you wish to walk on the tasty side of life, order a lengua taco con todo! Muy bueno! Gracias TDN. Hasta Luego.

Awesome food! Highly recommended. You order and pay first at the counter. You then sit and wait for your food to bring out to you. I was amazed to see how they know which table to bring it to. Cause we paid for our order and we just took a seat way at the corner. They knew where to deliver without giving us a table number. They accept credit card. Complimentary tortilla chips and salsa. Salsa tasted great but spicy. Upon return this is my second review, I thought the food was up to their usual high quality standards although they did mix my friends order up. All in all good food and would go back. The complimentary chips and salsa were fire flames and I like that.

Picture menu for the inexperienced. I keep getting the wet burrito. I tell myself that I’m hoping to try something new but man is just SOOOOOOOGOOD!

When I went at lunch on a Thursday the place was packed so I knew it was going to be good. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table and with chips and salsa. Service is fast. Only downside is the place gets packed quickly and it can be hard to get a table as the place isn’t very big. I had the Taco Rico plate. The rice was a bit buttery and fluffy. The beans were very well done. You can tell done of the food has been sitting under a heat lamp or in a heating tray in the kitchen.

Love Tacos Don Nacho. Simple clean environment. Attentive workers and amazing food. The Rico Plate is a must have, but i always get the enchiladas with the steak. Worth coming back for over and over and over and…

Not sure if it’s my fault, but I’ve given this place three tries and I’ve been disappointed all three times. Luckily, I live near or I would’ve rage quit after the first experience. The staff is friendly but the food is mediocre. I’ve ordered several different items on the menu but the meat was always old and stale. Felt like I was eating jerky at some points. The vegetables were fresh but they’re not the star of the entrée! The chips and salsa were pretty good though. I don’t think I’d be coming back any time soon. Besides, I know a taco truck that I’d drive across town for!

Very clean and open eating area, you order up front, pay and sit yourself. I ordered enchiladas rancheras. They we’re good. Had a nice kick to them. My fiancé ordered an all meat Barbacoa burrito and they gave us shredded beef when we asked about the burrito the waitress said it was barbacoa. My fiancé was disappointed since we were hungry we chose to eat and not complain. they close at 3pm Saturday’s.

I’ve been here several times now, not necessarily going out of my way since I don’t live too far. This still remains one of my top choices. Perhaps one of my favorite things about this place is that you can tell everything is made fresh. The salsa will vary in chunkiness and spiciness every time we go, showing that it’s actually homemade and not from a jar. The chips are always warm and crisp. I tend to stick with the carnitas tacos, and the seasonings will also vary. It’s never spicy, but it’s like how«Mom» always used to cook — a bit of this, a bit of that… nothing actually measured out. For that, it feels more like Mexican homecooking. And lately I’ve become obsessed with their melon agua fresca, which is basically liquid cantaloupe. My husband and I have always appreciated great Mexican food, so this is a big hit for both of us. Bonus that they offer cheeseburger and fries for picky eaters(or at least for those expecting something more along the Tex-Mex lines). This goes over well with my two young children who are all about the cheeseburger/fries stage right now. I also love that there is a drive-thru for those evenings when we want some good food but don’t feel like battling the kids on how«this time it’s Mama & Daddy’s choice.» It’s still no frills. You just place your order and wait and everything is brought out relatively quickly. As I stated before, this is not the most perfect Mexican restaurant ever. Last time I was there, the carnitas actually were a bit underseasoned(though still amazingly tender) and they didn’t add any lime wedges which they usually do for my meal. Enough to drop it a star? No. It was only once and the other times have been wonderful. Like I said, it’s more like Mexican homecooking to me with how everything is prepared. It brings back many childhood memories for me of my grandmother spending time in the kitchen cooking up elaborate Bolivian meals, or my other step-grandmother working on her Puerto Rican food… both native to those countries. The quality of their cooking was always amazing while the flavors might sometimes vary because nothing was ever measured. On a side note, I AM Hispanic and grew up on authentic food. I don’t think people should have to prove their ethnicity to have their reviews taken seriously, but apparently others feel that some of what we say isn’t credible simply because our pictures don’t show dark skin and dark hair. Not that being Hispanic is a requirement to be able to discern good food(look at your fellow Oklahoman Rick Bayless who is now a world renowned chef specializing in Mexican food). But I digress. I was just pointing out in my previous review that a LOT, if not most, of the Oklahoma«Mexican» restaurants cater to the non-Mexicans. That’s not to say there are no other authentic restaurants, because there are. But this happens to be my favorite.

This is a great place to eat Mexican food. We have eaten here many times and gave always had a great time. I recommend the tacos or the nachos. My favorite meats are the barbacoa, lengua, and the shredded beef. The waitstaff is friendly and courteous. You should give this place a try if you like authentic style Mexican food.

This fast casual restaurant is a bit out of the way(maybe close to the airport?) but not right in town. But it is worth the drive! You order at the counter and take a seat and they bring your food to you. My wife and I both ate(and had plenty of food) for $ 16. The Carne asada burrito is really good, and filled with a ton of meat, onions and cilantro. It is topped with a sauce(not sure what it is, but it’s good) and some guacamole. The guacamole didn’t seem homemade, but wasn’t bad. The refried beans were very good, and we’re not a paste, they had texture. The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. I would definitely go back!

Great place for quick take out Mex food. Good breakfast, guac, salsa, chips, and tortas. Tons of great Mexico food in the city. For a week night call in this place works great. You can pick up your food through the drive through. Way better than any fast food mex spots.

I totally don’t get it when people say«this is the only authentic Mexican restaurant in OKC» or «this is the most authentic Mexican in OKC.» It’s almost never Hispanic Unilocalers that leave those comments either. Have you gone down to the Hispanic neighborhood in OKC and eaten at every one of those awesome restaurants? Dude, that’s a lot of spankin’ good restaurants. That being said, this place is good for an occasional trip but not something I would drive across town for. The reviews had me believing that this place was as awesome as bars of gold being sold for half price. While good, it’s just overhyped. Womp womppp… Debbie Downer over here. The chips and salsa here are yummmm, however. Chips are thin and crisp, and the salsa is just packed with freshness. I ordered the huevos rancheros, and the eggs were cooked hard and rubbery. The sauce that the vegetables were served in wasn’t tasty either. If I was at the outlet mall, I would possibly come back to give their tacos a try, but it’s hard to go back after a fool-me-once…

Take a little trip to the southwest side of OKC for this delicious gem! Tacos Don Nacho is definitely worth the 15 minute drive and the line is usually out the door at lunch time. The street tacos are great and come with all of the fixin’s(onion, cilantro and lime). I’ve also had the enchilada and the wet burrito platter. I love going to this place because the people who work there are nice, the food comes out quick, and I’ve never had a bad experience. The parking lot is a little small, but I’ll deal with it for the cheap, delicious food!

Great little place way out in no where. Very industrial. We almost turned around because we didn’t figure a restaurant would be way out there but we came across it. Very friendly staff and I love the visual menu option. The beef was chewy but tasty the chicken was fantastic. They serve fresh salsa and chips that are thin as paper and so tasty. I would totally recommend it if you’re in the area not sure I would make the drive again if I wasn’t.
