Wow. I’m impressed. I checked this out today as a potential venue for events around our wedding. Since I did not shop, this is not a review of that, although from what I did see they have everything from trees, plants and flowers to affordable patio furniture and garden décor, to the ability to fully landcape and outfit an outdoor paradise. I kinda want to skip the wedding and just spend that money on an amazing outdoor kitchen! The pictures don’t do it justice — it is remarkably cool. The pavilion is huge, with fire pits, a huge fireplace, and an amazing outdoor kitchen set up. A series of docks, bridges, and steps connects the rest of the property — there are about 1,000 cool places to take pictures. Little touches are everywhere, and once you’ve climbed up the steps and around the side, you can also check out the tree farm, greenhouses and indoor space. Every stone, tile, rock is placed with care and serves both form and function. Really you should check it out just to see it. I’m thinking of it more as a fun place to do a rehearsal dinner that all of our family and out-of-town friends could come to so we can spend more time with people. As for a wedding venue, it might not be quite big enough in any one particular area for all our guests. But this would be such a fun place to host a birthday party, anniversary party, just about anything. Other pluses include lots of parking, a sport court where the kiddos can burn up some energy, a small putting green, several ponds and pergolas, and as the name suggests, tons of trees. The only minus as I can see it is a lack of one very large open space for things like a band, a dance floor etc. I was also concerned by its proximity to the highway and the noise coming from the highway, which I imagine would be no problem when the band or DJ was playing but might be a bit much during the ceremony.
