While in OKC-this place was where I frequented the most. They had a good happy hour with 1.50 draws-only issue was the 3.2 beer. They had great during the week food specials too. Got a burger and chips for pretty cheap. Neat building and full bar. Id recommend if you are in the area.

Good sports bar. This is not the best place in brick town. Anyone that thinks that either works there or is already drunk. Had chips and queso, must have been bought at sams wholesale in the tostado aisle. Nice people just a sports bar. Looks fun to watch a game.

Seriously one of, if not THEBEST dining experiences I’ve ever had. Very quiet Tuesday evening, about to fly back to Houston in the morning, wanted a nice meal and a good brew. Sat at the bar with my colleague and had excellent conversation with the bartender – whose name escapes me at the moment, but he’s got a lush, well-kept, reddish beard. His Midwestern, down-to-earth personality made this Indiana native feel right at home. and yet homesick. all at the same time. He was incredibly knowledgable about the beers, and clearly loves what he does. He was very forthcoming with info and suggestions, offering small samples of several different beers that he thought we might like based on what we knew we enjoyed already. He also was ONPOINT with his food suggestions. My colleague had the chicken fried steak which was tender and perfectly seasoned on its own, with a good meat-to-breading ratio(which are two areas most CFSs go terribly wrong) comes with this AMAZING and unusual jalapeño gravy that I *think* also had bacon in it? It’s got just enough kick to cut the fried food fattiness, and takes this basic southern cooking staple to the next level. It came with mashed potatoes,(but could easily not, because this CFS is all about the steak, and less about the creamy gravy), which although a little on the dry side were understated enough to let the steak sing, and man did it ever. I had the recommended«Theta» burger with fried okra rather than typical fries(because NOBODY offers it in Indy and I’ve only recently discovered it and I LOVE it). This burger… Is epic. It’s unbelievably simple, but includes two things I personally believe a good, basic burger must have – mayo and dill pickles. It’s got this tomato-based hickory sauce that is somewhere between ketchup and bbq but stands on its own and compliments the burger rather than overpowers it. Although I typically don’t get cheese on a good burger because 1. A good burger shouldn’t need it, 2. You usually can’t even taste it, and 3. Usually ends up an indistinct greasy goo. The cheddar cheese is shredded, and mixed into the sauce, which is a stroke of GENIUS because it doesn’t fall out of the burger and it doesn’t all melt and allows you to still TASTE the cheese. It elevates the cheese to an actual ingredient rather than just a burger option. After cleaning our plates, we opted to split a slice of the Kentucky bourbon pecan pie. I will say this… It’s the first time I’ve EVER been able to actually TASTE the bourbon in one of these pies. And maybe that’s because it was served chilled? I felt like if it had been at room temp, the buttery richness of the rest of the pie would have been enhanced and it would have REALLY sang. It’s a pretty small slice, too. But I shared it, and I think had I not it would have been the perfect size. Pecan pie can be overwhelmingly sweet – this pie is not. Prices here cannot be beat. Period. This place could charge double and it’d still be worth it. Also want to give a shout-out to the guy around the corner of the bar from us. I think he was the guy who checks in regularly named Evan(?). Great chatting with you as well, sir. Y’all were indeed quite hospitable. And yes, you did have ever so slight an accent. It’s particularly evident in a word like«time». I say it like«tie» with an m. You say it like«Tom». :-D If/when I’m back in OKC, I’ll absolutely be back here. And as often as our company has people up this way, I’ll definitely be pointing them your direction.

No complaints here. Good happy hour beer deals and the Chicken Fried Steak is killer. Quick walk to nearby hotels. Was in town for business and went there two days in a row.

Great place. Lots of beer choices. They had a couple of local IPAs which were outstanding. I really liked the F5IPA so try it. Mostly bar food but it’s all good. I’ll be back.

Although this is nothing like the Henry Hudson’s I know(I grew up on the northwest side with more dirty, smoky, nostalgic Hudson’s), it’s a nice, casual spot downtown. We were out on Saturday and just trying to find a casual spot for a couple beers with no cover, and Hudson’s was it! This location is great and much cleaner than the others in town. It’s also cheaper and less busy than a lot of bars downtown, so that’s always a plus.

It was the first time we were in town. The bar was a little quiet, but our server made our experience unforgettable. We started with a couple of flights, which got us pretty tuned up. Our server had some great recommendations off their menu. The food was phenomenal as well! All of the wait staff were willing to help out and make our experience wonderful. Liz is your gal if you’re looking for a good experience. I would recommend this place to anyone… the drinks were good, the food was great, and the staff were wonderful!

My husband and I were in OKC to see the Foo Fighters concert. Hubby is a «beer snob» so he was super excited when we stumbled upon this place! Great selection of beers! Bartender was helpful with beer choices, even gave us two tastes. Hubby was very happy with his IPA and I was glad they had Michelob Ultra in a bottle and obliged to my request for a cold glass. As we sat at the bar, all of the staff were super friendly and chatty! They even shared with us that Taylor Hawkins from FF had been in the day before!!! We ordered the potato skins and they were great.(Believe it or not, I have been to places that screw up potato skins!). After that, we made the mistake of deciding to continue to look around Bricktown at other food places. I emphasize MISTAKE! We ended up back at Henry Hudson’s to meet friends before the show. I ordered the cheeseburger. It was brought out to me by the executive chef! He was super nice! It was cooked perfectly and after taking a bite, hubby deeply regretted his choice of settling for a burger earlier from another place. Our friends arrived and it was getting extremely busy! It took a bit to get more drinks and my friends Bleu burger but worth it– the burger was cooked to order and drinks were cold! Working in foodservice, I don’t mind waiting when its busy– now if staff is just standing around and it takes awhile, thats different. But all of the staff(chef & managers too!) were working their behinds off! We ended up back there after the show and everyone was like, «hey, welcome back»!! Lol The place was packed but staff still hustling and attentive. My friend ordered the Cobb Salad and loved it. The french fries are soooo good!!! Hubby and I went back the next day for lunch before heading back to Dallas. Try the Spicy Bacon vodka bloody mary if you can! Great SPICY flavor! It went perfect with the DELICIOUS Irish potato skins! Hubby finally got the perfect cheeseburger he had been waiting for! Thanks to Lucas and all of the super staff at Henry Hudson Public House for great times & great food! See you anytime we are in OKC!!!

This was a good experience. I came in for lunch. There was no trouble getting seating and the service was very attentive. It’s got an average sports-bar kind of feel, with dark colors but well-lit in the middle of the day from the large windows making up the front of the place. The beer selection is decent, and the friendly bartender gave me a taste of what I asked about before buying. Sweet! They had wings, which was what I came for, of course, and I ordered them with the buffalo & Thai sauces. They actually had a fairly interesting variety of sauces on the menu, and I might go back for the«ghost». They were delicious and filling. The wings were breaded, which are«heavier» in my tum-tum and I normally do not care for as much, but these were good enough that I’d order ‘em again. I recommend it for a great lunchtime getaway. Overall, I like the feel of the place and the service and selections were good. So, I’ll be back.

Let’s start with the drinks: they have easily 50 beers to match your taste, multiples from different countries. The waitress needed to work on her knowledge of the beers, but when she did not know what it taste like she asked another person to give advice. If you cannot decide they have samplers for your conscience and they are well priced. Next the food: I had the Bleu burger and my husband the Ruben, both with fries. We agreed the fries were well seasoned, perfectly fried and the meals were great. My burger was flavorful, juicy and put together nicely. My husbands meal was just as great, he continuously raves about how it is the best he has had in awhile. We definitely will return to try more beers and indulge in more of their options for food.

We were in Oklahoma and looking for a sports bar to watch a basketball game when i stumbled across Hudsons. I cant say enough about this place and the staff — but I need to make a special shout out to Samantha for looking after us. Had lunch there and asked her if i could go off menu and have a buffalo chicken sandwich(they have a wrap on the menu) and she made it happen — the end result was spectacular and some of the other people there were admiring it! Later on that day(like 10 hours), we returned to play pool and she was still there. We ended up playing pool with friend of hers and had a fantastic time. Love the layout of the bar, love the food, love the atmosphere — and of course — love Samantha too. Thanks Sam & team!

I don’t know why under a dozen people have rated this place. Walked in 5pm on Saturday and was instantly at home. I grabbed a Western burger… oh my jeez! It hit the spot. The atmosphere and the food is not fancy, but the folks(Chris especially) were awesome and very attentive. To me the price was a bit high, but seeing as its Bricktown its affordable. Nutshell: down to earth pub, with great service, and hearty pub food.

Looking for a cool place for lunch while visiting OKC. Came across this place and decided to check it out. As soon as I walked in, the décor made me happy and excited. As an out of towner, didn’t expect such a cool place. While the place did seem a little slow, the staff was super friendly and informative of the beer, good menu, and the location. I ordered the buffalo wrap which tasted amazing. Good flavor, not too spicy, and a good portion size for what I wanted. Quite the gem in OKC. Will definitely return to Hudson’s Public House!

Ended up here on Valentines day after walking around the area for a while. It’s a typical bar with decent food. We found a great table right up front. Even though they were packed, we had good, prompt, friendly service. We ordered a bottle of wine for $ 20 and the habanero chicken wings to start. Both were good, not super duper spicy but just right. I ordered the fish tacos and a side salad. Both were good. Fish tacos came with mango on them and coleslaw. Maybe a little too much coleslaw, but I just took the excess off. Fish was fried and really tasty! Husband had the chicken sandwich. He said it was decent. It said served on a baguette, but it was more of a bolillo roll. It was rather small he thought. A band was coming on upstairs and we walked up there but it was very smoky. They were charging a $ 5 as well.
