My al pastor burrito was delicious, and nicely sized. I was offered a choice of two sauces (mild or hot), and enjoyed my green hot sauce. It had just the right amount of heat, without being overwhelming. The service was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The dining area was true to the authentic cuisine, with Mexican music playing, and TVs tuned to a Mexican channel. Very nice!

One word: authentic. The owners/​operators are so nice and their menu is easy to read! Great tacos al pastor and the torts is HUGE! This isn’t the place for someone who is looking for a couple of tacos with ground beef, lettuce and cheese. This is true Mexican!

This little place in an Olathe shopping center is unassuming and not a bit pretentious. With tastes like this, there’s no need to pretend ! ! My favorites are the delicious tamales, tostados, and 35 cent beans. I enjoy the nachos (generous & delicious) and have to remind myself to ask for a bit less hot spice. My children love the soft tacos, beans, and rice. (Note the tacos are yummy, but a little drippy.) And my husband tends to explore a new combination every time, with much success ! ! Not a bad dish in the house. He also enjoys the sandwiches. So what’s even better than the food? The owners! ! Surely one of the nicest families around. One of our favorites, every week.

I love this little place off the beaten path. Very authentic Mexican dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. Our family loved the food and the staff was very friendly. It is also a Mexican grocery BTW and the restaurant had simple décor. My kids loved the tacos and quesadillas. My wife and I tried the chorizo, beef, carnitas, and chicken tacos as well as the tamales. I was pleased with all of it but loved the fresh tamales and the chorizo tacos!
I would gladly drive from Overland Park all the way over again to eat here!

I love this place. I live just down the street from the more popular local taqueria however I usually find myself driving across town to come here instead. They have great tacos and beans. A side of beans is only 35 cents!
The staff is very friendly, both the Carne Asada and Al Pastor are fantastic as is the Salsa Verde. If the other place is too crowded and you can’t find any place to sit (or even if you can), come here instead you’ll be glad you did!

What a great place! Super friendly staff (always engage well with our 8 year old son). Very, very tasty food. Always good prices and consistent food quality. There’s no better place for good tacos in the KC area!
