An okay shop, but a pretty weak retro selection for a store that touts having retro games. I visited this store on a whim after searching for retro games in the Kansas City area. I’ve been to Gorilla Game locations in Illinois, and they usually have an okay selection of retro games(while not being completely focused on them). These stores usually have a gaming section where you can rent and play games for an allotted time, some new game sales, and some used game/retro game sections. The modern game selection is nothing you won’t be able to find at a gamestop or any other modern video game store. So my primary focus will be the retro games which makes it unique. And unfortunately, they pretty much have one small display of retro games(primarily hand held games), and that was about it. Overall… maybe if you’re a teenager and want to play games here it’s okay, but… if you’re buying a game, check out other options. And if you want retro… definitely not the place to go.
