Taco Bueno

My favorite fast food restaurant ever! Right now I’m addicted to their bean burritos and crispy beef tacos. Their salsa is fantastic as are the cinnamon chips. It is waaaayyy better than Taco Bell.

Yea that’s right 4 stars people. You want to know why? It’s the service I get here no matter when I go. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even late night adult drink induced snack. The employees are nice and the food is pretty good too. I love the bean burritos that have been grilled on the dough pro right before I get them. Toasted in the outside and super napalm hot bean gooeyness on the inside. Yum.

I was in the area a few weeks ago and it was the first place I spotted that actually looked appealing to me. I tried a chicken bueno bowl salad and it wasn’t bad. Looking around at what others ordered, I think I made a smart choice. I tried to have them put the same items in the bowl that I would typically get somewhere like Chipotle — chicken, salad, black beans, salsa, tiny bit of cheese, and a lot of salsa.
I like that they have a salsa bar so you can pour as much salsa, pico, etc. in little cups as your heart desires. I probably went a little overboard but it was pretty good. All of the ingredients looked and tasted pretty fresh. I can’t vouch for the rest of the menu, but this was pretty good with all of the salsa I put on it.
It was smaller than a Chipotle bowl for about the same price though, and the service there left little to be desired. I was actually surprised they got my order correct.
I wouldn’t ever make a special trip back, but if I find myself in the area again it good to know that there’s a pretty healthy option for fast food.

I a starting to come around to Taco Bueno more and more after trying the muchaco. It is a pita like taco. I personally prefer the beef over the chicken as the chicken has an odd sauce on it.
The tacos are decent, but the burritos are lacking in filling and a lot of tortilla. The fish sandwich was a little disappointing.
The hot sauce is anything but hot, but it does have decent flavor.
It’s a good stop for a quick lunch, but careful what you order. Some things are decent, some just nasty.
I wish they would bring back the mini fish tacos.

Come on try the fajitas or the breakfast quesadillas! Very good for fast food!

This place is alright if you are in a pinch. Had the fajita tacos and they were pretty good!

I drove by this place a couple of times and was real hungry so we decided to stop in to get some food. We asked if they had real beef skirt for their fajitas and they looked at us as though we were speaking a different language. Right there and then we knew they were not for real. Frankly, I have had better. To quote the great Forrest Gump, «That’s all I have to say about that»

Taco Bueno? More like Taco Yucko. Scariest ground beef you have ever seen in your life.
Heck, I can’t help but to think that the «Magic Meat» that was served in high school actually looks and taste better than this stuff is enough to make you wanna gargle with bleach *shudder*
If you absolutely have to try this place, stay CLEAR away from any ground meat products.
