Mi Ranchito

The service is excellent. Very attentive towards getting our party chips why we waited so long to get our food. Actually sent back one entrée the rest was good. Would come back but would not say, «wow that place is really good lets go there. Maybe next time will be better The one on 135^th is better.

Black beans weren’t cooked all the way. We always have to ask for silverware because they never give it to us. asked twice for some of the avocado salsa… it never came. This place is really just going down hill. The manager did stop by but of course it was while we had mouths full of food, so we just smiled and nodded.

I love this place. It is remodeled into a new location next to the old one. In fair weather it is awesome as they can open up the side for fresh sir. Spinach espinaca, awesome. Look for the coupons for the free dip. Salsa, great. Chips fresh and hot. The food is all good and Muy Caliente, served steaming hot.

Recently visited Kansas for a few days with a big group and was accommodated just fine, even when our party kept getting bigger and bigger, from 10 to 15 to about 30 people, they were very cool about taking care of us while not compromising in the food and service departments. The complimentary chips and salsa are tasty but these chips seemed to break very easily, and we had to keep asking for more. My boyfriend is a fan of the mole sauce so he ordered the Teresa’s mole enchiladas, and he was a pleased with his meal. I love carne asada so I asked them to put them in a quesadillas and it was just wonderful. Their portions are very generous.
Their parking is a bit on the smaller side, our friends had to park in the neighboring business.
Overall, this is a decent place to satisfy your Mexican craving, its pretty much your typical cantina.

You have to have the stuffed avocado! Also the best one to go to is on Harrison and ask for Maria! The absolute best waitress ever

Worst experience of my life and just left here. I’m allergic to something so I simply told them to please take it off. They didn’t and told me it was fine. Now I’m sitting in the hospital because this is third order of mine that they have gotten wrong. The manager sat there and did nothing.

This place is amazing… The food is authentic and we’ve always had great service. Prices are also very reasonable. I’ve never been a fan on the big chain restaurants like Chi-Chi’s etc. so it’s nice to find a local restaurant that serves great food at affordable prices… They recently remodeled this location as well which now looks much better than what it used to look like… Well done.

This place has pretty good Mexican food. I recommend the pollo del marr. Once or twice a week my husband and I order carry out from here and it is a total midweek pick me up. The quality of the carry out is just as good as eating inside. They only messed up my order once but the manger joe took care of everything, gave me a credit no questions asked and was very courteous. I would definitely recommend this place.

We have been here tons of times. The past 3 times though it has been terrible. The service has been really bad ever since they expanded the building. Takes forever to get the food and the new servers that they have added are slow… Takes FOREVER to get the food, and then when it comes finally it is terribly disappointing. No manager provides any explanation as to why it takes so long. No more Mi Ranchito for us. At least not at this location.

Mi Ranchito is one of my favorite places to get Mexican food around the KC metro. This place was started in KC, and continues to grow and expand. I didn’t always like coming to the Harrison location because it was small, cramped, and was basically just an old modified Pizza Hut. The restaurant has been beautifully remodeled, and my wife and I had an amazing experience out on the back patio area that was added. The food and service were both top notch. You have to try the Espinaca Cheese Dip. My normal go-​to is the Jalisco Chimichanga. It is one of the best burritos I’ve ever had. Creamy, cheesy, crispy, and chicken-​y! I highly recommend Mi Ranchito in general, and if you haven’t been to this location since the remodel, you have to check it out.

Love the new building! Lots of room, so we didn’t have to wait and it was much quieter. Servers were very attentive. Food was wonderful, as always.

My all time favorite Mexican restaurant that is here in the states. None of that cookie cutter chain food you get at other places. I recommend the Bravo burrito which has steak and shrimp, while my husband loves their chili verde. From their tacos to their soup I promise you won’t be disappointed. Everything is delicious and their drinks are nice and strong, great food and drinks for very affordable prices. They give out a free dip coupon when you pick up your take out order at the drive through. Great atmosphere with wonderful service, the new building is beautiful! They now have a patio that opens up to the dining room, and we can’t wait for warm weather to relax outside with margaritas and nachos! This Mi Ranchito is their best location by far, the others just don’t have the same service or quality in my opinion.

We frequent Mi Ranchito for three reasons. First, the espinaca dip is like nothing else on this planet. The Mexican white cheese and crispy flour tortilla chips are worth the trip. Second, the dip is FREE with one of the many coupons that they give out like candy. Third, the entrees have never disappointed us. We have ordered everything from the taco salad to the cream cheese chicken enchaladas to their fajita and nuevo burrittos. You simply cannot go wrong.
I won’t lie, what keeps us returning is the espinaca cheese dip. It is also a cool experience to visit the original location off Old 56 Highway. It is in a somewhat rundown part of olathe and looks like a converted Pizza Hut. But, as we all know, the best Mexican restaurants are usually holes in the wall from the outside.

This is my favorite Mexican restaruant in KC. It’s not traditional, but I’ve never had a bad meal here.
Their salsa is fresh and they make their own chips (besides who can complain about endless chips and salsa for free?). The queso is great for an appetizer and there’s usually a coupon in the Valu-​Pak
My two favorites are the Cream Cheese Chicken Enchiladas or the Jalisco Chimichanga. I also like their salads and tortilla soup!
They have skinny and regular margaritas– both delicious! They used to sell them in pitchers, but can’t anymore due to some stupid JoCo law that was passed (or so they told me).
Other than the quality of food, my other favorite thing about this place is the service! I’m pretty sure that I’ve never not had a manager come and ask me how my meal and service was. They are very customer focused and great at what they do!
They get packed at lunch/​dinner time everyday, so I would suggest calling ahead as they do allow call ahead seating, but no reservations.
