Sonic Drive In

I wish I could give zero stars. This is the worst Sonic (or maybe fast food restaurant) EVER. They hire people who don’t care about being there. The employees smoke and then don’t wash their hands before they start working again– and when you confront them a manager does nothing. Orders are always wrong, even if it’s 2 drinks. SLOOOOOW. We have been probably 30 – 40 times in the 5 years we’ve lived in the area and it’s consistently terrible. We now go out of our way to go ANYWHERE but here.

Soooooo sloooooow. I keep forgetting that the staff is super slow until after I place my order. I was one of the 5 people in the parking lot and it still took 10 minutes. Did they have to hunt whatever animal they use to make their ever loving Chicago dog?
Here’s hoping I learned my lesson for this location.

Saturday morning 11÷21÷15 at around 11:30 my BF and I stopped in for breakfast before heading out for the day. The restaurant wasn’t busy and it didn’t take long to get our order; supersonic breakfast burrito combo, mozzarella sticks, and onion rings. However after we pulled out to eat on the road, I noticed there was fryer grease dripping, from the tots, then from the rings, then from my breakfast burrito, and the entire bag. It was obvious we were served/​dumped an supersonic upsize of grease with our food. I was completely distraught that someone would intentionally do that to their customers. May God help this sonic get their employees on the right path.

This is the WORST sonic we have ever been to!!! I was hoping they had an off night but my husband and I gave them the benefit of the doubt too many times. We have been there 3 times now and waited almost 20min for milk shakes! Not only did we wait insanely too long but the shakes were HORRIBLE!!! They were melted and disgusting. We asked them to remake them once and they were very rude about it. We won’t be back!

Burger Luke warm, tator tots less than Luke warm, service slow even though not busy, last time here. Over priced for terrible food!

This is the worst Sonic I have ever been to. It took almost 5 minutes to order. The popcorn chicken was soggy and so were the mozzarella sticks. We asked for ranch, and they never returned to give some to us. One positive for the place is that the workers were friendly.

There is usually a long wait here. No secret by now. But maybe next time while there is a huge line in the drive thru maybe don’t horse around where customers can see. I had the pleasure of watching a girl put ice down a guys shirt. Then I had the bigger pleasure of watching him dig it out of his butt crack and turn around to keep working. Are you serious with this? God bless whomever ordered food from this place tonight. Get your act together guys. I know it’s fast food but maybe have a little concern for other people’s health.

If there were a zero stars, this place would be the winner. My god, I have never in my life been so disappointed as I am with the consistently horrible service that this places provides. I have finally hit my boiling point and will never return to this Sonic again. I pulled up around 3:00pm today to get 3 drinks and waited for over 40 minutes. It took over 15 minutes just to get someone to answer the stupid red button then I waited 20 minutes before pressing the stupid red button again so I could ask where the hell my order was, only to sit for another 6 minutes until I finally gave up and left. I don’t know if it is the staff at this location or if it is just the way Sonic is setup to operate, but that is complete and total bullshit making someone waste 40 minutes of their time only to leave empty handed.

All I ordered was a sausage, egg & cheese toaster sandwich. I was on my way to work so didn’t check it (as I normally do. What I got was a «small bun» (the size of a small sausage) with a burnt sausage, very little cheese and a regular sized egg. Needless to say I didn’t get to eat. I took it back and had my money reimbursed!!! In order to post it says i have to add a star. actually this deserves a negative star rating!!! I Won’t be going back!

This Sonic is awful. My wait was so long today I assumed they had completely forgotten about me. When my food was delivered I asked what the hold-​up was. She mumbled something about having a lot of orders. The parking stalls were empty and the drive through had one car in it. I got home and discovered no salsa in the bag for the breakfast burritos I had ordered. This is not a one-​time experience. Long waits, messed up orders, apathetic employees are the norm here. Even though this one is close to where I live, it will be faster and less irritating to drive up to the Sonic near 135^th and Blackbob like the other reviewers have suggested.

This is by far the worst Sonic on the planet. It is so close to my house and I have had nothing but bad experiences there over the past 10 years. They were once completely out of meat (yes all meat); they once sold me a shake that was completely melted (knowing their machine was broke); burnt food; long long waits; and once they never took my order after a 10 minute wait. These are just a few of the bad experiences.
I love Sonic, but don’t go here. Drive up to 135^th and Black Bob. You will be happy you did.

This review is for back in August but it still bugs me when I drive past that place! Don’t go if your in a hurry. Very slow, First the order came back with no fries, then they took 30 min’s to make a batch and bring me some! I’ve had faster service at many sit down full service restaurants!

I’ve waited for thirty minutes or more for a drink from this sonic. Just to see what happens, I’ve ordered a slush today. I’ve been sitting here for an hour. No slush and nobody has even asked if they can help me. This is by far the absolute worst Sonic on the planet. I’ve said it before but please listen to me and AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST.

Awful service, rude carhops, cold food. Probably the worst sonic I have ever been to in my life. If you would like to eat here be ready to wait for a long time.

I thought I’d give them another chance. I don’t know what gave me that crazy idea. I went early enough in the day (around 9:30) and got a soda and a grilled cheese (yeah, I know it’s early). I didn’t think they could mess it up. Yet, they did. The grilled cheese was burned. Sad.

This sonic is close to my home and workplace so this is unfortunately the one I frequent the most. When ordering anything fried you’ll get the taste of stale oil. The popcorn chicken, onion rings, tots and breaded steak sanchwich is the worse. Many times the tea tastes sour. The service can take up to 20 minutes when they are NOT that busy. I’ve never had a problem with the stale oil taste at any other sonic than this one.

This Sonic is okay. It’s in a good spot just across from Wal-​Mart and shares a parking lot w/​several other businesses in the area. It’s good for a quick meal when you need it. Nothing spectacular though.
