This location was sold to a franchisee and the stylists that had been there for years have been let go. There seems to be a high turnover in staffing and the prices have increased. Quality has noticeably suffered.

For those who don’t need elaborate hair care, Supercuts is terrific. Especially for guys — basic cuts are $ 12($ 10 on Tuesdays). Seniors get a break, too, all week long. I went to a Great Clips near my old address and it was affordable but kind of hit or miss because it seemed like the staff was never the same so you had to tell them what you needed each time you went, and never could be sure about the quality of the cut you were going to get. When I moved to my new place I found this Supercuts nearby and started going there instead. I was pleased with the cuts I got, and I soon realized that pretty much the same staff of cutters was always there, so before long they knew me and I knew them since I go there fairly regularly. Everyone is friendly, and it’s a varied group, from the motherly owner/manager; the curly-haired, tattooed artistic one; and the others. I went in a day or two ago and there’s a new staff member, who ended up cutting my hair. Anthony is the first guy I remember working at this location. I’m sure he’s going to be a hit because he has the looks and voice of a soap opera romantic lead. In spite of that he gave me a perfectly good cut. Everyone there has been great about taking care of the little extra grooming needs that we aging baby boomers have come to need, like buzzing out ear hairs(which are difficult to do at home because it’s hard to see if you’ve gotten them all) and trimming the ever-more-bushy eyebrows! My needs are very basic, but more involved procedures are available, like coloring, highlights, and perms, for prices that seem to be reasonable. For those it’s a good idea to call and make an appointment. If they’re busy they won’t be able to accommodate you as a walk-in. In short, for affordable hair care, this is a great place with good people working there. To find this location, it’s in the large shopping center at the SW corner of 119th and Black Bob. From some directions you can’t see it from the street, but you’ll find it in one of the buildings that are closer to 119th Street, near the BMO Harris Bank branch. Supercuts is just around the corner of the building that has Celebrity’s Café, virtually next door to GNC.

If you need a quick hair cut, this is a good location to go. They are efficient and always super friendly. I have been coming to this location for a while and never had an issue with a haircut. I keep my hair pretty simple, so not sure if you want more complicated styles if this is your place. They seem to have built up a lot of return business and loyal clientele.

Ok I had an Appointment at Beauty Brands for an up-do and they scheduled it for the wrong day so I couldn’t get in. So I was upset and frustraed when I left there and drove by a place called«Super Cuts»…I should have known by the name. but Desperate, I called them and said I had never been there and wanted to know if they had a master stylist for an up-do ? The lady that answered the phone assured me that they could take care of me in 30 minutes and that everyone that worked there had been doing hair for 10 years. So, I decided I would give it a shot… The minute I walked in I felt like I should have walked right back out the door, but I said to myself that I would give them a try since she was so convincing on the phone. I sit down in the chair and instantly knew I was in for a nightmare! I didn’t have the heart to walk out. So as this lady ratted my hair into a mess she says. where is the curling iron? I couldn’t believe it! So I said, «I take it you don’t do many up-dos around here»! She said oh we do, its just her second day at this loctaion, so she doesn’t know where things are. Huummm .I knew this wasn’t going to be good so I just told myself I would just sit there and take this as a lesson to myself… NEVER go to Super Cuts for anything! They have no clue what they are doing! I left there with about 2-gallons of hairspray on my hair and my scalp was so soar from all the pulling and teasing she did to my hair. I wanted to call that lady back and say. you know when someone calls for an up-do .its probably for a special occasion and you should tell them to go else where! I was frustrated and upset!
