Newfane, NY
My husband grew up in Wilson, and our family recently moved to Newfane from Boise, Idaho where we lived for the past five years. I thought I’d miss the green belt of Boise, but this beautiful lakeside park is perfect.
Not only is it lakeside, but that lake happens to be Lake Ontario. It has a nice playground with swings, monkey bars, winding slides and a rock «mountain» to climb. It also has an enclosed splash pad with a variety of features including water cannons. My boys were in heaven.
There are also many large fields, big beautiful trees and a lovely view.
It’s just an all around awesome park for kids and parents.

Its a nice park, there are gazebos or like big table areas that you can rent for parties or get togethers. You’re right next to the lake and a short distance down, there are small shops to check out and you’re also a short walk from the pier of Lake Ontario. Its a quaint place and there’s plenty for you to do there on a nice day.
