Neighborhood bar but larger than average. They even have enough room to have bands every few months. Drinks priced RIGHT. Clientele very friendly! Can’t go wrong for a local joint.

Part of me wants to take credit for bringing in people to the Tuesday Open Mics. When we first went, we played a bunch of Green Day covers for the fifteen or so people there. The last time we played, we packed the house with friends and family, and several acts, and played a bunch of original songs for about an hour. It was a great atmosphere, with a bunch of cool people, supporting each other’s acts, and collaborating with each other. I mean hey, we wound up finding our drummer there.

Friendly bartenders and patrons make this bar a true Long Island gem! The food is also good — I recommend the buffalo chicken nachos.

I give this place five stars for value! The service is very good, the people are friendly and my bill was almost nothing. I would not have complained if my bill was double as I had two double JWB’s. Kind of empty, but I can see this place being a cool stop for locals. I would come back if I lived here.

Great service and reasonably priced. A good basic beer and liquor selection. A nice surprise was their crab bisque; it compares well with any bisque at any higher priced restaurant. Although I didn’t have one, I saw a hamburger served to another patron and it made my mouth water — I’ll try it next stop. The only negative is that in the later evening the clientele includes a few«bar flies.» Not my favorite type of person to chat with. Oh well…

Great town bar, quiet, and secluded. Go on Mondays or Thursdays, the crowd is younger and better then any other nights, and Aaron is a real cool bartender. If you want to Karaōke, then Tuesdays is the night to do it, but the crowd is a little strange and much older. Daytime food has some pretty good specials but most menu items is the drinking snack food type. Also don’t expect to get any crazy cocktail’s, good wine, or nice single malt scotch, because the selection is extremely limited. If you drop in there bring some singles, because the only way your hearing any tunes is by dumping it into the juke box. This bar could have some serious potential and get a better crowd, but with all of it’s space in the back, it’s lacking a nice pool table. Too bad, because it would get a better review.

I stumbled upon Fitzpatrick’s last spring during a manic fit of Tuesday Karaōke withdrawal. Billed as «Twisted Tuesday Karaōke» with Chrissy behind the bar, I figured I’d give it a shot. The interior is half townie bar, half elevated restaurant seating. The Karaōke is setup in the dining area, but the kitchen seems to be closed at that point. The DJ is good and the short rotation of singers are all enthusiastic. The Tuesday crowd is what’s to be expected from a local bar on a Tuesday: a mix of 20 and 30 somethings who all know each other with the occasional Karaōke loser(me) wandering in. The beer selection is adequate, but not overwhelming and the bartender is friendly(especially if you drop a ten to start the night.) Overall, this place has a real«townie» feel. For Tuesday night karaōke, it’s not bad.

Happened upon this place the other day after stopping at a liquor store in the same shopping center. Not the most beautiful establishment I ever walked into, but I was hungry and it was starting to snow. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, and enjoyed a real«bar burger»…something I hadn’t been able to find in years. What a fantastic find, and I may now do all of my liquor purchasing in that same shopping center, and stop by for another burger…

A great neighborhood Irish Pub! I’ve been going there for years and it’s one of my fave spots on Long Island. The bartenders are friendly and the service is great. Their kitchen prepares all your typical pub food but they have a great chef and usually also have a few great specials nightly. I’ve had amazing shepherd’s pie there and was lucky to try a seafood manicotti with incredible vodka sauce there recently. They have a great juke box and frequent live entertainment. Definitely check it out!
