Cinco de Mayo has several locations around town, and this may be their worst one. Service is just pretty awful and bland. Sometimes I’ll get their food to go, but that’s it. You’re better off visiting the one in Mt. Juliet or downtown in Cummins Station, depending on where you’re located.

My wife and I went to Cinco de Mayo on a busy Friday night. We waited over 40 minutes to have our orders taken. Then another 30 minutes for our food. When it did come out, it was relatively burnt/​dry, and unseasoned. We also feel like we got a paltry serving portion, and very poor service. Water glasses stayed empty the whole time. Chips were very dry and stale. They also said they don’t have drink specials. We have been to the Cinco de Mayo in Brentwood MANY times, received excellent service, food, and drinks, and will return there if we wish to frequent a CDM in the future.

Excellent salsa and margaritas! Super fast service and friendly wait staff! Always clean! My family and I eat there at least once a month and we have never had a bad experience!
The only thing I’ve ever had that wasn’t awesome was a vegetarian dish.

They overcharged my account and had awful service. Our waiter took forever and was in an unpleasant mood. I am never eating again, the food wasn’t that good either.

The server copied my debit card and then tried to go on a shopping spree. Thank God my bank stopped the transaction before it could be completed. The only bad thing is I can’t prove it and this person will probably strike again.
If you do eat here, use cash. As for myself, I will never eat here again. I’m thinking about reporting this place to ICE.
