The food was alright, nothing special. Haddock was over cooked and the steak was raw inside. Waitress was nice but for the price and quality I wont be back.

The food was fair. The waitress was very good and friendly. With that said, this place has a very strange way of dealing customers that are not satisfied with their food. I ordered the baked scallops. Everyone at the table got their food except for me. It was ten minutes later and I got my scallops. I bit into one of them and it was like a ball of raw mush. The waitress came over and I explained the situation and she said that she will send someone over. I found this unusual, but I figured what the heck and I waited. Several minutes later this burly man wearing an untucked button shirt and cargo shorts, approached our table. He didn’t identify himself and to this day I still have no idea who he was. But, he stands there and begins to inspect my scallops moving his head from side to side. Really strange individual. I explained my feelings and he agreed to cook them longer. He grabbed my dish and off he went. A short time later the waitress returns with my scallops. In all honesty I have already lost my appetite for these things. Anyway, they looked browner on the outside so I gave them a try. They were horrible. The waitress came over again and I explained they are no good. The waitress asked I wanted her to send someone over again and I told to her to please not send another person to this table. Well, several minutes later another individual approached me. This guy stranger than the first. Again no idea who this guy was. They just could not accept that I did not like the scallops, in fact they were awful. I explained this to him and he walked away while shouting«awesome»! We all looked at each other and wondered what is next. The only thing missing was a bright light in my eyes while they interrogated me about the scallops. These were not cheap scallops by the way. To their credit, they did remove the scallops from the check. While I never requested they do that, it was appreciated. Unfortunately because of this strange experience and mediocre food we will never return nor will I ever recommend anyone else eat at this establishment.

Slow and unappetizing. Staff seems better suited for grave digging instead of food service.

I’m giving the four stars for a buffet we had with the group. Often on buffets things are overcooked but on this Buffet the food was really good. The fish was cooked really well not overcooked same for the chicken very juicy and the meatloaf was to freaking die for. Service for drinks and coffee at our table was very good. The dining room or banquet manager helped out with the tables. We were very pleased and based on that experience will be back to try dinner.

I’ve tried a few dishes from here, and it seems like they have hit their stride. There always seems to be some sort of opening quirks to work through, with these kinds of restaurants. Their baked haddock is delicious, and well seasoned. The mashed potatoes and green beans were also delicious, so they don’t neglect their sides. I’ll be back to try more, and you should give it a try. It’s a relaxing atmosphere, and they also have a decent bar selection. We also had a function here, and the staff bent over backwards to accommodate us!

Just okay. We have tried this place a few times. Food is just okay, a little plain. Nothing too creative. The summer campers will love this place.

There after work — happy hour 3−6pm daily and all day Sunday. Party of 4 shared 5HH snacks and 8 tall micro brews for a $ 60 tab. Food was fabulous and beer was delicious.

One word: forgettable. Food is bland, service slow. Attention to detail lacking. $ 16 for fish and chips — one expects fresh fish, not frozen. Mulligans in Biddeford has better food and everything on their menu is $ 5 or under. Sad. I wanted to like it. We won’t be back.

Great experience! We were seated right away which is important for two kids. Appetizers came out correctly and promptly. Food a very good and the service was better. I would recommend for everyone.

I came to Duffy’s today for the first time for the Old Orchard Beach Chamber meeting. They had an amazing breakfast spread with crunchy home fries, scrambled eggs, just right pancakes, crispy bacon, amazing fruit, muffins etc. Everything I tried was amazing. The only thing I did not try were the eggs. Someone at my table said they tasted a little off but I did not try them. The owner and staff were very friendly and kind. I’d definitely recommend a breakfast meeting here and I can’t wait to try their lunch. Looks like they also do special events and a lunch punch card.

Average to below average meal… Positives: service was very good. Our waitress was Very attentive and friendly. The kids enjoyed most of their meals(linguine with butter good, linguine with meatball not good) There were plenty of kids choices price ranging 4.99 to 8.99(pizza) Clean, bright restaurant with friendly hostesses Negative: Clam chowder was not good at all(really not good!) My haddock(baked haddock) tasted frozen and was lacking flavor My dads rib eye was probably the thinnest cut of meat I’ve ever see and was very tough The«veggie side» was horrible! Under cooked cauliflower, zucchini and summer squash that was so watery it was bad Overall experience– not great. Kind of reminded me of bad wedding food. However maybe bar food(burgers, sandwiches) is their thing

Went here while we were on vacation in OOB. The bacon wrapped scallops were pricey but delish! I wanted more after I ate my 3! My husband and I both got the lobster mac and cheese. I was disappointed as the sauce seemed to be missing something. I added some salt and pepper but it still just wasn’t what I was hoping for. Would definitely go back and try something else. The service was great and we enjoyed the atmosphere.

The food was so bland it was tasted like cardboard. An app &2 meals, 2 drinks $ 45 we both couldn’t finish any of our Meal. As locals we wanted to check it. We will not recommended or come back.

You have to give a new restaurant time to adjust. I’m sure I’ll give them 4 stars the next time. Large place, waitress rushed us a little, when we asked about rolls, she said they don’t normally give them, but she brought some. Then the meals came with one. She could have told us. Oh well. The pizza was good, the salmon was fresh, Veges were cooked to perfection, and the scallops wrapped in bacon were delish! Kinda small for $ 3 each, but so good!

The dinner was good. I had the thanksgiving dinner and that was good and large. Went with a party of 9 and got seated fast. Lazy mans lobster was light on the lobster. Service was very good.

It’s hard writing such a negative knowing this new restaurant was behind schedule and opened before ready, but it needs to be said and customers should be aware. Construction pieces sat in the corners of a dining room void of any ornamentation, decoration, color, etc. Food was expensive for items that could be found on an Applebee’s menu. Ordered appetizers never came out. Three entrees were delivered to a party of nine and then waited 30 minutes for another three entrees, and so on… We should have walked out when the waitress told us they no longer carry live lobsters because they couldn’t sell them. If you can’t sell a tourist a live lobster in Maine, close your doors. I imagine that’s what will happen here if serious time, energy, and money isn’t poured into this new restaurant.
