Jimmy the Greeks

This place is the real deal. Great food, great music, and a great atmosphere. Good for bringing your family, but maybe not very young children, as they may cry and disturb not only the customers but the musicians playing. I got a Poseidon’s Pasta, which was fantastic and very filling. It may not look like a lot of food but once you start eating it you will realise it is! We had a lovely waitress named Kelsey. She brought the food on time and was extremely pleasant. All in all you should come here because it has good food and music. :)

we went for lunch and shared a Gyro pizza. it was delicious, with lots of toppings, and crust was perfect. service was friendly, and on point.

After reading some of the reviews I was a little worried but gave it a try. Service was very good we stuck to sandwiches both were excellent. The gyro and Ruben panini perfectly cooked Great fries. Spinach artichoke dip was hot with plenty of fresh pita. The only downside of you want to call it that was it was quite loud

I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant in my life. The hostess was wonderful and offered to call us on our cell phone because we had a sleeping toddler in the car. Our experience went downhill from there. Our waiter took forever to take our drink order and he forgot to bring my drink. He then proceeded to take our food order and it took 2 hours for some of our appetizers to come out. When we began eating, I noticed my soup was cold and the chicken was raw in the middle. It was at this point that we left. I will never go back despite the interesting atmosphere and wonderful hostesses. I am now driving home to Boston with my toddler and husband with pizza in our belly! Not what I expected at all for this evening.

It seems weird to say this but whatever you do, do not order greek food from Jimmy The Greeks. After a couple of bad dining experiences here, we decided to give it one last go. We were seated in the upstairs area on a Sat night around 7:30 PM. It was pretty empty (pre tourist season) We ordered a couple of beers and ten minutes later the water had arrived but not the drinks. We got the beer, but with no glass after my Mom had asked for a glass. When the waitress came back to take our orders, we asked for a glass again. By the time dinner was over the glass still had not arrived.
Service was slow as hell and it wasn’t even busy in there. The food (a buffalo salad and fish and chips) were mediocre at best. I’m not sure if there is one dish they do well here, but it certainly isn’t anything I have tried. The upside is the huge selection of craft beers. If I went back I would sit at the bar to enjoy them, and not bother with food and snail speed service.

We go here a lot for working lunches. We really like the Pizza buffet, but we have had enough. They will only start the pizza buffet when someone comes in and requests it. So you always have to wait about 20 minutes for food to come out. We waited a very long time for pizza to come out. We asked the waitress what was going on. She said the owner is only allowing pizzas with one topping and one at a time. We got a pizza with sliced tomatoes on it kind of gross. It seems like the pizza buffet is a bother. the music is always very loud and set to dance music. Go to Portland Pie the Pizza and food are better.

Wednesday nite. Very slow service, burnt pizza and the chicken wings were very dry. Will not go back.

The food was awful, cold and salty, Save you money don’t go there.

Very good pub food, much of it available with a Greek flavor (even burgers). Busy dining room on Saturday night. Great service and side salad.

The pizza crust was undercooked. Sent it back & it came back the same limp way. I can’t speak about other dishes but I vote to pass on pizza.

The food is great, and the service is better! The pizzas are crisp, yet not too cooked, the salads are fresh and bursting with flavor, with the cherry on top being the punctual service from Chrissy! She is absolutely fantastic, and has been requested as a server for the last five years! Year-​round the trivia night is a hit, and sure to be enjoyable, but the service really sets Jimmy’s apart from the rest.

This place was great. The food was amazing and my parents and I had a really good time. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere wasn’t bad. The reason for the 4 star rating was that it was a little loud here. That and my drink wasn’t very strong, good, just not strong. I would suggest anyone come here!

Fantastic good… great staff… pricey but happy hour foods are delish and 5 rack as well as beer and wine 3 to 600… love it!

I wish they’re was a 0 star rating button. Seriously going to puke after eating here. I got the sirloin stake tips and the meat was ROTTEN. Beyond rotten. My potatoes tasted like they were the kind you added water to then put into the microwave. This place is a damn health hazard. Tomorrow I will defiantly be shitting myself. Can’t wait for the food poisoning to follow after eating here.

Taco veg burger
Quaint but typical sports bar atmosphere and food. Very noisy but expected. However, when a restaurant is named Jimmy the Greek, you might expect Greek food. Not here!
I had fish tacos which were decent — rated about a 6 out of 10. Wife had Veggie burger. As with most places, veggie burgers not only change from restaurant to restaurant but also day to day — this was not a good day! Mushy and not very tasty.
If in need for a normal, run-​of-​the-​mill meal, then this is your place.

I was very disappointed with the service I received tonight. My family got salads, but no forks to eat it with. Then my friend got a panini with no onions, and a very small piece of chicken. The waitress never came to refill our drinks and we waiting for at least ten minutes to get the bill. Not only was the service bad, but the lighting was so poor that the table behind us had to use their phone flashlight to see the menu. I would not recommend this. The food is over priced for the quality of service.

Dined here twice, this past weekend the most recent. It was pretty quiet this trip but during the summer can get crowded. There is a decent amount of seating inside and outside. I ordered the Dark and Stormy and it was pretty strong and quite tasty. my husband and I both ordered burgers and they were very good, cooked to order and hearty. The fries were crispy and delicious. Wait staff pleasant and attentive. Nice casual restaurant, nothing fancy but good food at decent prices. Really a 3 ½ rating.

I used to love this place and frequent it often. Not sure when it went downhill. Went on a Saturday night. Horrible horrible karaōke was blaring SO loud on the restaurant side. Service was slow and not very friendly. Food was very disappointing. The «steak» on the salad was disgusting. Most likely reheated. The chicken noodle «soup» was a joke. Basically a cup of noodles. The boneless chicken tenders (used to be one of our favorites) were also disappointing. Very skimpy on the sauce they were supposed to be covered in.

I went for lunch and was disappointed. Most of the booths were dirty, the beer on the board was one that they didn’t have, and the guy working the bar had to be the server for the restaurant as well. The food was good but it was slow to come out, so maybe our server was also the cook.
The atmosphere during an off-​season lunch is depressing. There were four old guys sitting by themselves at the bar and one other booth with people in it. I thought this place was good for a pizza dinner during the summer but I’m not in a rush to so back for a lunch when it isn’t tourist season.
