Ocean Pizza

Been here for 10 years & never stopped in until a few days ago. We didn’t try the pizza however the restaurant is more than just pizza.

i will never return to this place after waiting with my wife over an hour to place my pizza order, and finally asking that it be boxed to go. While we waited, a young waitress came in with three young men, seated them, and took their order. Several minutes later they were served three pizzas! When we got the attention of our waitress, she apologized and said that our pizza was going into the oven next… after 45 minutes! There is one waitress for both the bar and dining room, an impossible situation. This is a place for locals only, and rake-​out only. By the way, at leasr the pizza was good. 7÷17÷2015

If you like cheese and you like dough, sure. If you like thin crust, look elsewhere. Nothing was super offensive about this pizza but nothing was great either. Toppings on the menu are abundant. Parking lot makes takeout easy. I’m just a New Haven girl in search of the real deal (and still looking…)

At a first glance, it doesn’t look like there’s that much business, but when walking in, you can see that they’re very busy!
I went on Memorial Day weekend and it was kinda crazy. People coming and going, more so coming and waiting for a litttttle too long. We got two small Margherita pizzas and it took about 45 min… and we were eating inside.
I understand it gets busy, especially during the summer holidays, but I thought we waited way too long for pizza. Although the arrival of the food was drawn out, the food was actually pretty good! Thin crust, really good tomato sauce and fresh basil on top.
I’d probably order delivery from them next time and have a snack or two while I wait.

Good pizza but… sat down 7:05pn. Order taken 7:15. Food arrived 8:05. Yes, at table one hour before pizzas arrived, one of which was not sliced. Another 15 minutes after finished waiting for check. One person for bar plus dining room, slow kitchen. Crossing this off list. Why one star? As I said, good pizza.

We recently visited Old Orchard Beach and ate at Ocean Pizza twice. Pizza was really good. Nice sauce, perfect crust and the right amount of cheese and toppings. We enjoyed the pizza so much, we went back for the subs and were not disappointed. Melted cheese and lots of produce. The service was great; friendly attentive staff. We even thought about going back for a sub for the plane. We highly recommend!

I’m a Chicago girl so I have very strong opinions on pizza… and you might be surprised that I prefer thin crust over deep dish but I’m talking Chicago thin crust, cut into squares with crispy edges… mmmm. Anyway, my point is, I really love pizza but I have a hard time finding pizza that lives up to my standards and Ocean Pizza hits a home run each time. It’s not Chicago style thin crust (but I forgive them). It is just consistently really delicious pizza. They are slow on Friday and Saturday, expect 45 minutes for pick up. But their prices are fantastic. $ 20 (including tip) for a large extra cheese and pepperoni and mozzarella sticks. In the future, we’ll skip the sticks and just stick to the pizza. I have had their Greek salad and it was delicious for a pizza joint. I really hope they aren’t seasonal because it would be tough to lose such good pizza so close to home half the year.

Ocean Pizza is our «go to» Pizza Place — and
is very good for other Italian dishes.
Our favorites are their Greek Pizza and their Mexican Pizza… be sure you stop in and pick up a take out menu!

Their pizza is great! My husband and I had beers and shared a 14″ cheese pie. The wait was a bit long, but there was several other people there and only one waitress. I will go back and just get pizza to go because I’m from NY and their pizza was very comparable!

While it may not look like much on the outside, ocean pizza makes a darn good thiner crust pie. Was skeptical at first after having some other pizza in the area (we moved here from NYC) but give this place a chance. I love the garden veggie.

We have been here several times for pizza when staying in OOB to camp. It is a short walk from the Old Orchard Beach campground. The pizza they serve is outstanding. I have had the Buffalo chicken pizza several times and it is the best I have ever had. My girlfriend eats the vegetarian pizza and also thinks it is the best she has had. It is a small restaurant with not a lot of seats but they do there best to accommodate you. If your group is larger than 6 you will probably sit at separate tables but they will be very close together.

We stopped here mid-​week around 1pm and were treated to some EXCELLENT Italian food. Angella and she was awesome– opening the normally closed seating area for me, my wife, and our two boys. We had homemade stromboll’s that were some of the best we’ve ever had.
