Wine and Canvas

This was a wonderful experience. The company is a mobile and will bring the paint party to you! They normally ask for a deposit and would like at least 10 party participants. They will bring the party to you. At a restaurant, club house, or even your home. The owner Stephanie will even design a painting based on your event. She was so great to work with. We wanted a specialized design. She talked through the design with me and sent me ideas via email. We texted and called back and forth until we got it just right!
The day of the event her artist Spencer was so much fun and flexible with our group of 15 ladies.
He set up and talked us through paintings. He gave each lady assistance when they weren’t sure if there masterpiece was going according to their plan. He had his boom box and asked what type of music we wanted. He actually said you all look like the neo soul type and I told him he nailed it. He was fun and friendly and in tune with our group.
It was a great evening!

Attended my first Wine and Canvas event after I learned about it on Groupon. This is my first time attending an event like this. I was a little nervous because I’m not an artistic person, but Stephanie and our art instructor really broke everything down into logical steps. We had a wide range of talent in our class – from newbies like me to very creative, artistic people who built on the basic instructions and transformed their art into something totally their own. Everyone seemed to have a good time. I’m very happy with the finished product.
Several people facilitated the event – Stephanie, the instructor, and two helpers. Each of them were walking around the entire night offering advice, extra paint, and just chatting and getting to know each of the participants. I felt like they really took the time to make a connection with everyone and make sure we were having a good time.
I was surprised when Stephanie told us Wine and Canvas in the St. Pete, Clearwater and Tampa area recently opened. She said they had been open for about two months. I would have never known that if she hadn’t told me. From what I saw, they had none of the growing pains of a new business. They acted as a cohesive, coordinated team and had the event down to a science. Great group!
