Hilton Garden Inn Oldsmar

We stayed here for a night and was able to book it earlier in the afternoon. I’m glad we chose this hotel as it is convenient to the restaurants around the area and they have good amenities. We stayed her for only 1 night but made the most of it. In the morning I used their gym which has free weights, a couple of treadmills, and a cage with adjustable weights. It was sufficient for a quick workout. I would definitely stay here again. T

We recently stayed here while investigating a possible move to the Tampa area. As a Hilton Honors member, I always try and stay within the brand. The staff that greeted us were friendly and very helpful since we didn’t know the area. But when we checked into the room, it smelled like cat pee. But once we lowered the thermostat and cooled the room the smell went away. I hope so but we didn’t smell it anymore. The hotel was quiet as were the rooms. We only had a small problem when another guest left their dog in their room and he barked for quiet awhile. But this was during the day and all was fine when we went to sleep. The front desk offered to change our room but we didn’t need to. The pool was outside and clean and felt good after a long hot day checking out houses and towns. We didn’t partake in their breakfast but did enjoy the company of their bartender one evening. All in all, I would stay there again when back in town.

I stayed here for a work conference for several days. I’m allergic to down and asked for foam pillows instead. The first night, the young man at the front desk brought them up right away. On the second night, the pillows were gone. When I stopped by the front desk to ask for foam pillows, the man at the front desk said he would look for some and send them up. And hour later they still weren’t there. When I called down and asked for them a second time he was very short with me. Finally he called the room back and said he couldn’t find a single foam pillow and was very rude… I had to cover the pillows with extra shirts so I wouldn’t have an allergic reaction. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Took a class here, so this is only for the Meeting room. The staff was friendly enough, and directed me to the large room where the CPR class was being held. The room had one small issue, the AC was either too hot or too cold, there didn’t seem to be a happy medium. I would certainly take a class here again.

Good and quite place to stay! Been here 4 of 5 day and very pleased. Breakfast was reasonable at $ 9.95 for a buffet and kids under 12 eat free. Room was clean and adds a refrigerator and microwave as added features. Pool and workout room are also available along with free wifi.

Pool area is awesome. Great outdoors, great view. Not a huge fan of the smokers that congregate there or by the other outside entrance. Favorite part of hotel.
That being said – I feel like the pool area should have non-​smoking signs that are very apparent, including on the door going out from hotel and on inside gate coming in.
Strange buffet though.
It’s a buffet, but we had to tell the lady what we want and she went to get it. Really off-​putting and she said it is the policy. That kind of takes the point out of the buffet.
So, one sits down rather uncomfortably to be approached by a waitress while we’re standing up looking around buffet and are told there are some things we are not allowed to get ourselves that are in plain view. Stayed at a different HGI and it was self-​serve unless we wanted something specific.
Was able to get one extra pillow but not two and it seemed to be a challenge when we asked for any additional pillows.

Pros: the hotel was affordable, well-​appointed, and quiet.
Cons: our room wasn’t all that clean. We found several pieces of garbage from the previous guests strewn around and the mattress was stained and torn. I’m pretty sure no one vacuumed before we got there.

Hotel and amenities are VERY GOOD, only problem was the bed — mattress so soft that I had a back pain .
alos AC was somewhat slow.

Excellent property if you are in the Oldsmar, Fl area. Excellent Staff with clean rooms, spacious rooms. Conveniently located next too several restaurants. I stay at this property frequently as well as use the banquet facilities and always have an excellent experience. I would recommend Hilton Garden Inn to anyone with Hotel or Banquete nneds in the area.

Great staff and close to tons of shopping! Loved the King size bed!

We only stayed one night and we were quite comfortable. he room was clean and very spacious for 2 people. Customer service was excellent. One thing I would say though we got a king size adjustable bed but it was defective since we could not adjust anything. That was the only thing that stood out but it did not take away for the good time we had I just thought I would mention it, thank God we did not pay extra for the adjustable bed.
