I have very thick wavy hair. It is really hard to work with. I couldn’t get in with my usual stylist Michael who is awesome so I got in with Christina who happened to have a cancellation. Wow, I was super impressed. She did a fantastic job on my hair, layered to perfection and did the best blowout I’ve ever had. I made my next appointment with her because she really is incredible.

I love this Salon. Zac is my stylist and I always get fabulous service. Cassandra is also wonderfully talented. I’ve been getting my hair cut and colored here for three years. A bit pricy, but in hair, you truly get what you pay for.

I went from having beautiful natural hair to damaged hair. They ruined my hair because of the highlights I got done and on top of that, the color was just totally not what I wanted. The only good thing about this place is the girl who cuts my hair. She does a good job at knowing exactly what I want but my haircut costs me at a price of almost $ 95. I mean I don’t mind paying that much for a cut as long as it comes out nice. As for coloring my hair here, never again.

Kris was amazing and gave me a perfect haircut. I loved the atmosphere and bohemian vibe.

I used to go to this salon for messages and facials… however they haves lost some staff and the message therapist that are there now are mediocre. It’s hard to find a good message therapist and I have tried a few therapist from here and was left unsatisfied. I now go to message envy and love it! Far better prices and far better therapist!

First of all I want to thank this salon for doing a FUNdraiser with Cleative Loafing for the Children’s Home. I am the very happy winner of a years worth of facials… one a month for a year.
Today was my first facial… what a wonderful experience. Besides having a fabulous hour facial, I had a foot and hand massage. I was butter afterwards.
I so highly recommend this location and definitely ask for Rebecca. She only works Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday’s.

It was my first time at the salon and I loved it! Candice did my hair and I loved the color. We discussed what I was looking for and she gave me her recommendations, I also did the keratin treatment, can’t wait to see it last in FL weather.

Why 5 stars? Because the head massage they give you when washing your hair is worth the price of the haircut.
When I first moved to Tampa, I had a friend who colored and cut my hair out of her house. She did a great job and it was cheap– no bells and whistles. When she moved out of town, I panicked– I don’t deal well with change very well.
A friend of mine referred me to Heather Winder at Whole Aveda. Heather was super friendly and did a great job. I was indecisive about what color to do and how much I wanted cut off– but she offered some suggestions and it turned out perfect.
The best part of the whole experience though was the shampoo. Expect to spend 5 – 10 minutes getting your hair washed– as they take their time with a scalp massage and finish it off with a warm towel wrapped around your head. They’ll leave you lounged in the chair with the warm towel for a couple minutes and I often fall asleep at this time lol.
As with most nice salons, they offer up beverages and reading material. And, they don’t judge you if you bring Tijuana Flats chips and queso to eat during your appointment.
A all over color and cut with Heather sets me back $ 115. But– they have a sliding scale of prices based on the hair stylist’s level of experience (Heather is on the higher end). So, you can get out of there at a cheaper price if needed.
Believe me, the head massage is worth it.

I just moved from Orlando, have had the same stylists for YEARS. I tried several salons in the Tampa/​Clearwater area only to be disheartened. Found Cassandra at Whole Aveda, LOVED my cut and color the first time… waited for my second cut before I reviewed the salon and stylist to be fair. Just had my second visit and I’m just blown away. The consistancy of Cassandra’s skill is a rarity and the friendliness of the staff is immeasurable. They won’t let you leave the chair until you are satisfied with every aspect of your visit. Pampered is understatement. Scalp and hand massage was just a plus. Won’t go shopping for a stylist or salon again! Thank you so much!

This place has it all; top notch stylists, a beautiful space, relaxing vibe, and the best natural hair and skin care products available, all served by an efficient and friendly staff.
From the moment you enter the salon, you know you are going to have a different and amazing experience. The receptionist makes you feel welcome with either citrus infused water, or their delicious tea. Their stylists (Melissa!) allay all fear of change with their color and cut expertise and professionalism. You are offered advice on products in a helpful and low key manner, and treated to pampering like I’ve never gotten anywhere else.
I’ve experienced many of the services they offer, facials, massage, pedicures, hair cut and color, all of which were among the best I’ve had.
Do yourself a favor, book as many services as you have time for, and enjoy.

The only regret I had of moving to Tampa Bay area from Shanghai is the lack of resource of finding a good stylists. It is funny that once I refused to cut my hair till I go back to Shanghai to see my BELOVED TONY, ‘my hair master’. But a 1000 US Dollar price tag is more than I can take on regular basis. So I have to find my ‘Tony Two’. Thanks for our Unilocal world, I have found Whole Aveda. And it is just 5 minutes away from our neighbor area.
I went there last Friday. I made reservation on the phone and reception gave me details of which level stylist I choose. The range are from 20 to 70 dollar based on experience level. I choose 60 to make sure a good outcome. I was assigned to Michael. Friday morning, I was there on time and Michael is there waiting for me at reception area. He chat with me for few second to understand what style I want for my hair, then he used Aveda product to massage my hair before take me to a smooth shampoo, conditioner and hot towel wrap. I could fall into sleep on the chair. It was nice. Aveda products provide silky structures and the smell of the herb are calming. Aveda is a SPA Salon. I like their Asian deco. It feels like back home.
It took Mike 20+ minutes to carefully shape my style. We also had very pleasant conversation. We are both into cooking that makes the whole experience more relaxing. The result of my new hair style is encouraging. I have to admit, that my Tony is the best, but I can live with Michael’s strength as well. He is very caring and cheerful person. Plus, I usually prefer male stylist because superficially, male has better sense of style on women’s hair (my opinion though). I think Mike did great job.
I paid him tip in cash and paid the rest at front desk. The lady showed me Aveda products they used on me. If I like them I can purchase in the shop.
I got complement the moment I step out the salon. I do love my hair. I will go back.

I saw Arielle, who was great!
First the salon experience:
I showed up late (not uncommon for me), and they were still very gracious and did not make me feel bad about it…
Greeted kindly and introduced to my stylist.
The place itself is really nicely decorated. asian contemporary vibe. totally up my alley.
Work stations were nicely organized and neat.
Offered the delish hot tea that most Aveda salons have… yummy as usual.
The hair cut:
I am trying to grow out my long hair down to the dimples of my back… and I have been trying to budget myself (moving around a lot lately).and was unwise in waiting 6 months to get a haircut…
i got it cut at another salon 3 weeks ago, and did not like the cut really at all… came to Whole to fix it up.
Arielle took off 4 inches (necessary to get all my split ends off), and styled my bangs nicely. my hair is beautiful and healthy now. it usually has a problem with looking stringy… but the way she cut it, it just looks healthy and thick!
I love it.
Honestly did the best bangs I have had in years also… which is sort of a big deal to me. straight across, and textured, so it is not too blunt.
also the shampoo was great with a nice head massage and a hot towel wrap and deep conditioning treatment that felt wonderful.

Also, the price was great only $ 30! but the prices go from $ 25 to $ 75 i think for cuts…

I love Aveda salons and this one did not disappoint. All the staff members are friendly and kind. The first time I went to get a root touch up and cut, I had a stylist named Jen and she asked me a lot of questions to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. I ended up loving the cut she gave me! My hair isn’t easy either. Its very curly and somewhat fine so it’s kind of an oxymoron. But It was the best I’ve had in years.
The second visit was with Brooke because Jen was on maternity leave. Brooke was so cute! She reminded me of Reese Witherspoon with her blond hair and southern accent. Anyway, she cut and colored my hair as well and the color came out fantastic! I’ve had my hair dyed all different shades of red for years but she really hit the nail on the head with the one she chose for me.
Prices are about average, but the quality of the products they use and the education level of the stylists make it all worth it. If you’re really worried about money, you can choose from different levels of experience. The less experience = less money. But even the less experienced ones are very good.

If you go here, you might need a designated driver. I went for the 1 hour therapeutic massage. Renee G. is an angel from heaven! I was like jelly when she got done with me! This place is awesome! I get my nails done too. The face massage and scrub is amazing.
