Yeah, no. That’s my first reaction. first of all, Tops has a bad wrap already. The prices are very high, the food is not the freshest, and the stores are not known to be up-kept. Tops better get it together if they want to have my family be customers with them.

Listen, I know you’re thinking, «But it’s not Wegmans!» Just chill out and get over it. The selection is incredible, the prices are right if you have the bonus card, and the bakery is legit.

The worst. The only thing it’s got goin for it are those benches where you can sit down with a cup o joe and play that lottery game.

What can I say? I love Tops Markets. There are none near me in Fairfield County, CT, so I try to enjoy them when I find them in upstate New York. They are a well-laid out supermarket with a large deli and take-out counter with salads, quiches, pizza, sandwiches, calzones. etc. as well a good-sized bakery producing signature cakes, muffins, and cookies. The rest of the place is full of good brands at good prices. It is a reliable and fun shopping trip every time.
