Dodge’s

This is not just a Chicken store, but a gas station combination. There is also pizza, breakfast biscuits (chicken, sausage/​egg) made here. I really liked this station because the gas prices are the cheapest in the area. The reason I am scoring this location so low is because I recently purchased gas but noticed a delay when the pump started to run (money meter started before the gas came out) incorrectly. I thought it was just me and I blew it off. On my second visit, I did a test and raised the pump nozzle (some what) out of the tank to see if fuel was coming out.
Low and behold, even at .06 mark, NOTHING WAS COMING OUT! This is truly a RIPOFF to all customers who do not notice this!!! I normally come here to get my fuel weekly, but with this type of funny business, this needs to be reported to the better Business Bureau!

This is NOT just your average gas station food. The cooks are southerners who have been cooking chicken for years so rest assured it is ok! Once if not twice a week I have a co-​worker that stops by here on the way to work and picks up breakfast for some of us folk. I’ve had the chicken, bacon egg and cheese, and my favorite the sausage biscuits and they are amazing! If they had a drive thru, I would go there more often.

This place is crazy! Always a million people there! The gas price is usually one of the cheapest I’ve seen in the area. And their fried chicken and other hot foods are soooo good!
The only downside is that there’s always a LONG line at the register. But it’s for good reason.
I mean, HELLO?! They have TWO ice options at the soda fountain: cubed and crushed.

Love their chicken on a stick and pizza. They deliver within 10 miles. So much better than before the remodel. Whoever is hiring the employees now is doing a great job at weeding out less than par. Havent had a bad experience since the reopening.

Why in the hell am I reviewing Dodge’s? I feel as if I must set the record straight here for anyone who might actually read this before making a decision to eat this stuff… There is a review that compares this pre-​battered, steam pressure cooked, junk to Gus’s Fried Chicken… This could not be any further from reality!
This is gas station chicken! Nothing good about it other than you will fill a void in your stomach if you can get it down there!
The remodel is nice but I still find it to be almost impossible to just buy something off of the shelf without having to wait on every cashier in the place to get food for someone. It sucks! Fix it!
Tip* If they are pushing food (breasts/​wings/​tenders) on you like I have seen many times before, it is old, and it is dry and you will hate it unless dirt and rocks are the highlights of most of your meals!
Stay away! or just get gas and leave

This is now dodges pizza, the building is newly renovated and the chicken, corn dogs, and breakfast sandwiches are great. I have not had the pizza yet but they deliver anything the sell just about. Awesome store!

The remodel is well worth it!

It’s packed this weekend but the staff handled the rush with smiles!

No iced tea… for the second time!!!

First off, the chicken at this local chain (i.e. Arkansas & Mississippi) is much better than the crap you get at Gus’s. The first time I ever ate their chicken, I was planning to eat only a few wings and save the rest for my brother. (And this was a reasonably sized box that had at least a dozen wings). But I couldn’t stop, it was so good.
The chicken doesn’t taste like heaven on earth, but I’ll say they are some darn fine wings.
