In the days of the credit card, I find the tip/don’t tip dilemma to be a struggle… The young men that help carry my grocery bags are well mannered and helpful; I’d be happy to tip them and on the rare occasion I have cash, I do– but I almost never have cash. When I pay with my credit card (almost always), I feel guilty for not tipping. I would carry my own bags, but it’s a difficult thing to get away with because the system is so efficient. The cashiers are always friendly and check-​out is a breeze. Then the bags are walking out. I appreciate that service– I just wish I could write in the tip or buy gratuity chips to hand the bag boys.
Love the service. Love the convenience. Love the location.
Sometimes the selection is limiting. They have great deals on meat products though.
The store is always clean– and I like that!

Piggly Wiggly is a Memphis icon! I was very pleased to see this store move into the old defunct Butcher Shop location on 305 Hwy. I get excellent deals on meats and vegetables. The cereals are a bit pricey and the boxes are small, however, you can get great deals on large quantities on can goods that beat even Wal-​Mart pricing ;) This is not a 24 hour chain like most in Memphis but the clerks insist to walk groceries to your car! Great customer service!!!
