Gordon Food Services, also known as GFS, is a similar large wholesale food chain to Sam’s Club. They typically sell different name brands bit the same type. It’s a much smaller physical store but a decent variety. Going in and out of GFS is undoubtedly quicker because when I go in I don’t get that overwhelming buying urge. I pick up what I intended, browse a little and then I’m out. The sales and stock people have always been friendly. The have plastic bags but you can also use their boxes. This location can easily be overlooked or forgotten because it sits back, almost behind Walgreens. Still, I have never been frustrated because of excessively long lines, although today it took awhile for the cashier to get back to the front and start checking out people. I think it was a case of the cashier helping a customer when there was no one in line and it took longer than expected. Basically, it’s a abouy two steps above a mom and pop and one step below a bigger chain type grocer. I’m glad to have the option in the neighborhood. 5 stars when they sell more veggie protein options
