The place and ambiance is nice, the service is also nice. I received a no chip manicure and unfortunately within a week it began to chip. I will be returning to have everything repolished. If the new Polish chips within a few days like before, I will not be returning.

Terrible. I will never come here again. She cut me on 4 of my fingers with the drill. My nailed look a mess. They have no color options. The only option is no chip. I have acrylic all over my cuticles and she she didn’t try to get it off. She just polished my nails with this white acrylic all up my fingers. And when I asked her to get it off she sprayed some alcohol on my figures which burned like hell since I had cuts on 4 fingered. This was a terrible experience and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this place. That’s what I get for trying new places.

I moved here from California a year ago and have been waiting to get my nails done till I found the right shop. I’m so glad I picked this shop.
They were super nice over the phone. When I came in, they remembered me from my phone call and sat me immediately. Everything was really clean and upscale. Prices are reasonable. I was done in 30 minutes.
I got my nails done with Anna. I will be going back every two weeks. I highly recommend.

Star Nails in Olympia Fields is a nice place to get a thorough pedicure and quality manicure. The owner’s nail station is near the front door. He makes it a point to verbally greet every customer, even if he is servicing someone else, when they walk in, asking what they are there for. If there is a wait, he encourages you to sign in, «pick a color,» and wait in the small seating area near the front. Many of the nail techs are friendly, and remember you by name or face. They are personable, and ask you about your mom or daughter, because they remember you had someone with you on a previous visit. The deluxe pedicure is the bomb-​diggity. No doubt! It includes paraffin, hot stones, and a lengthy foot/​leg massage.
The prices are reasonable, but Star Nails’ biggest limitation (to me) is they need to supply more variety of quality nail brands/​colors.

I go to this place because it is close and new… er to the area. It is OK. If you want the latest OPI color bring it yourself because they have the cheapy colors that streak and chip quick. My pedicures have always come out decent. My manicure have been hit or miss. I did like how my nails turned out when I had the gel tips. It looked neat and even.
There is one worker I would stay away from, the pudgy young guy with glasses. He seems moderately pissed off and when asked for cooler water, it was like you ruined his day. So say no to the pudge! The ladies and the older gentleman have been OK. Also, they use their own nail to clean polish away. I don’t know if this bothers you but that can’t be on the HIPPA guidelines. Just pray nothing cross contaminates right? Ha!
Better than most but not the best.

Just had my pink and white fill in… ABSOLUTLEY WONDERFUL… I didn’t have to wait long at all. The service was GREAT. VERY CLEAN

It’s okay… not great. When you walk in, there isn’t a sign in sheet so it becomes very confusing on who’s next to get their nails done. There doesn’t seem to be any organization or structure there. Expect to wait at least 2 hours on the weekend. Everyone is very friendly, and the nail shop is extremely clean which I love. One thing that irritated me is that they don’t have a variety of nail polish at all. They have a huge case full of OPI polish but when I asked the guy if I could have a certain color in the case, he said those polishes in the case are only for sale. He pointed me to a small case with about 20 nail polishes «off brand» to choose from. :/​because I picked one of these colors, my mani started to chip the next day.
All in all, it was an ok experience.

I just left here and was assaulted by the manager. Upon my request that he make the water hotter, he became enraged, and made the water too hot and burned me with it. Needless to say I was in shock, left there and went to the Olympia Fields police station to press charges.
This kind of behavior is totally unacceptable to a customer like myself who has been patronizing this business for the past 7 months. Be careful of this business becoming more laxed and even abusively negligent to its customers now that they have built somewhat of a sizeable customer base in our community.
Rude, harmful, poor customer service tinged with racism is the most accurate description I can give this business!

I like this place! The young lady named Jenny who does my nails is the bomb! She does an excellent job on my nails and is very quick! The nail salon is clean, cozy and cute! :)

I had a fill, pedicure and wax and they were all great. Very clean place and all the nail techs were very friendly. I am very picky about my nails and I have been going to Cici Nails for the last two years. I think I have found a new place and closer to my home!
