Diamondhead Shave Ice

This is probably the only place in the area where you can actually get shaved ice. Or as some people call it incorrectly a «snow cone». The ice is shaved off a block of ice people! It isn’t a snow cone!
The cost was $ 2.75 for up to 3 flavors. I had blue raspberry and lemon-​lime and the flavors were fine. The only thing I could of wished for was more of the flavoring as the bottom part of the ice didn’t get much syrup.

Diamondhead Shave Ice is only open during summer weekends, so keep an eye out! It’s heard to miss the long line and dozens of brightly colored cones of shave ice floating around the market.
The serving size is large. For $ 2.75 they give you a huge cone with 3 flavors of your choice. NO extra charge for up to 3 flavors! Just one flat price. The vendors are very friendly. If you happen to come two days in a row or once every other week they will remember you.
They have a large variety of flavors available. They also have a good variety of sugar free flavors.
If you get shave ice often like I do, they have a punch card. You fill up the card, you get a free shave ice!
