What a wast of $ 22!!! 3 steak tacos, 2 pork tacos and a side of rice and beans all thrown away! Greasy, over priced strangest tacos I’ve ever tried. I can’t even pinpoint to odd taste… Cinnamon maybe? Tortillas were so greasy they fell apart. Both my son and I were disgusted and disappointed. Save your money and go to Boom Boom taco truck!!!

I can’t wait for the Farmer’s Market to open every year so I can start enjoying the burritos from Los Tulenos! They are substantial and delicious. I can’t remember the name of the one I normally get, Don Pepe I believe, with chicken. The chicken is always tender and the flavors perfect. The burritos are large enough to share but why would you want to?

This is a decent Mexican food stand down in the Farmer’s Market. My favorite dish is the spicy pork tacos. If I want breakfast, I’ll call Roberto and he will make huevos rancheros for me – even though it’s not on the menu. Be sure to try their chicken en mole.

Just had lunch with a friend down at the Farmers Market which is a pleasure that is just back from wintier hiatus. After a leisurely stroll around the Market(buying my share of snacks for later) we settled on Lost Tulenos at The Market for lunch. I had Spicy Pork Tacos with rice and beans, my friend had a steak quesadilla(which was enormous!). The tacos were traditional small mexican tacos with lots of pork, onions & cilantro garnished with radishes and pickled carrots, the beans were perfect not a watery soup but with whole beans still visible and loads of flavor. I’m not a big spanish rice fan(due I think to an overload of bad school spanish rice while growing up in San Diego) but even that was pretty tasty. There was some great jazz playing on the stage but we opted to take our food down to a bench by the water and eat in the company of the seagulls. There are lots of great choices at the Market but def give this one a shot when you’re there!
