I have been coming here since I was a kid. I love this place. We’ve had our kids birthday parties here as well. Food is amazing and the staff is awesome. Great experience every time

Came here for the first time today and loved the relaxed atmosphere. We ordered the bite pizza & the all-you-can-eat salad bar with a bite pizza. The salad bar had great options & the pizza awesome. Love the many different beers on tap & the fact you can buy pitchers. We can’t wait to come back. There’s one thing that I’m confused about. What’s the deal with the slogan«Gay 90’s Pizza Parlor»?

Not a fan of their pizza. Their crust tastes like cardboard. We got just a hawaiian pizza(pineapple and Canadian bacon) The crust was super thin like I didn’t know they can make it this thin! If you go in and don’t like thin crust ask for thick crust

Great food and beer all around! I called on a Sunday for a takeout order not knowing they weren’t open for another 30 minutes but Dave took my order anyway with no problem. I prefer the sandwiches but that’s only because I’m not a huge pizza fan.

Who in the world puts shrimp on a Combination Pizza? To their credit, it is listed in all the ingredients that comes on a combo. Suggestion, when taking the order you should say«just so you know it includes shrimp». I can’t be the first one to order a Combo, an American pizza classic, to be shocked by this. So glad I saw it before taking a bite.

This is definitely one of the best pizza joints in town! I prefer the thin crust, lots of toppings kind of pizza and they do that very well. They also have a salad bar and scrumptious subs along with a few other menu items if not everyone is in the mood for pizza. They have rooms you can reserve for larger parties, a bar with a nice big TV to watch the games, a small arcade room and super friendly staff! You honestly can’t go wrong here, my family made it a tradition to go here weekly for our get togethers.

This place is home. Plain and simple. Any of their food is a good choice. But I have a hard time not ordering the meatball* sub. *it’s more like meatloaf, the geniuses. Way improved eatability. And mushrooms. You rocked my world.

Always a fun trip to local favorite. Sometimes it can get busy trying to find parking but they do a have good pizza and friendly service. They were also able to accommodate a food allergy with a great no cheese pizza with extra sauce and toppings for dairy allergy.

Super tasty and chill atmosphere. Went on a Monday night and it was a nice place to hang out and watch a football game. Got the Mexican pizza and another with pepperoni, ham and cashews. If you’ve never had cashews on a pizza then you’re missing out! The crust is thinner than thin so if you pack on the toppings then expect to use two hands to double the support. I noticed a lot of people getting spaghetti and I’m sure to try that next time I’m in as it looked delicious. The meatballs looked like the size of tennis balls! Great place to check out! I don’t think anyone would be disappointed.

I went there with my mom as she was interested in trying the place and I was looking for a Taco pizza. I loved the Taco Pizza from Shakeys when I was a kid, and never found one quite as good. Godfather’s Pizza in Lakewood has a pretty decent one, but too far to drive to. Tried this places«Mexican Pizza». It was below par. The ingredients seemed to come from a can and the bean spread was just plain messy. The lettuce tasted like it was in the fridge for a while and picked up flavors from other items in the fridge. Service was lazy. You order and you come in and pay. Then sit down while food is made. My mother had heard great reviews, but I don’t know what those people were used to. This is not a place I would ever go back to. There was another place over by Hawk’s Prairie that I will try next time.

Dirty Daves is not very accommodating and their pizza is expensive. Our family stopped in for some pizza. We wanted to do half and half — they«dont mix sauces». We asked them to leave pepperoni off a third of the pizza«we dont do that». I asked if they could then make a personal cheese pizza for my child«we dont do that after 4». A lot of «we don’t» instead of «sure, we can do that». The pizza is good but it is expensive and the toppings are not very plentiful. The space is crowded, very loud, and outdated and dirty. Hence, dirty daves I guess. I don’t think we will be back anytime soon.

Fun place, good food, LOVE the Jake and Cashews on my pizza. Only wish is that they did mini pizza’s even during the evenings for kiddos… or have some kind of a kid menu. Paying for a full price adult meal is hard to swallow when they only eat a third of it…

Less than impressive! I use to love this lace! Mexican pizza was burnt! Cashew pepperoni was blah! Service was descent, but that was unfortunately the highlight!

It was a time of innocence. Parents could let their children just roam the streets of Lacey care free. There was a mall just on the other side of the freeway that every Christmas season had a nativity scene with loudspeakers blasting holiday music. The mushroom farm stunk to high heaven. Hawks Prairie was a truck stop. There was plenty of woods for kids to explore. Now days Martin Way just feels like South Tacoma Way had gone subterranean through DuPont and resurfaced at Meridian Rd. Tattoo parlors, chain fast food restaurants, predatory payday loan offices, marijuana shops, and bikini baristas pepper the once lush green landscape. But there are a few of the old places remaining. Norma’s Burgers, The Viking Tavern, and of course Dirty Dave’s but unlike the previous two I’ve actually been in Dave’s. Back then there were only a hand full of posters on the walls and sawdust on the floor. They only had two things to drink, whiskey and the blood from your gums when you got socked in the mouth for not being man enough for whiskey. Gentleman were still expected to take off their hats when entering. Strangers weren’t welcome and the locals greeted each other with a smile. Yeah, there sure have been a lot of changes in Lacey and a few at Dirty Dave’s. Two things that sure as heck haven’t changed is that The Jake is still the best sandwich this side of the Cascades and the mushroom farm still stinks to high heaven.

Really great Pizza! Loved the atmosphere– table & booth layout gives one some privacy, and there was no cranked-up, loud music playing to kill the conversation! Great evening!

I’m confused. This place was just ok, not good, not bad, just ok. We got the bite pizza w unlimited salad bar. The tiniest 6″ pizza ever was delivered prompt to my table. It was so thin, if I stacked all four slices together, I’d still end up w half a slice of real pizza. It tasted ok though. The salad bar was terrible, what are people talking about? It’s watery iceberg lettuce w canned/bagged options to put on the salad. They supposedly make their own dressings but maybe they shouldn’t, there was no flavor. I’m not sure I’d bring kids to eat here just bc it’s a bar with tables. This was not designed to be a family restaurant. Staff was pleasant enough but not enough to encourage me to come here again. They do seem like they are very active in the community though. Their wall was covered with relay for life stuff and other acknowledgements/recognitions. Kudos for that I guess.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how good the Gay 90s Pizza was. Cashews go very nicely with sausage & pepperoni. We also had the Mexican pizza and that wasn’t as good but still good.

This place is a staple in the Olympia area — and it took me a REALLY long time to finally try it. And,(don’t be mad) all I had was a sammich! Look, I LOVE sammiches… like REALLY love them, and luckily this area is filled with amazing places to grab a good one. I got the Jake by recommendation — and I was not disappointed. Ham, salami and pepperoni — toasty from the oven and topped with fresh veggies… what’s not to like? It wasn’t better than any sammich I’ve ever had — but, it was good and I’d order it again. The place seemed a little dark, a little dingy, and a little in disrepair — so, I’m not sure this would be my first choice for a date night, but rather, I’d probably order to go in the future.

Went here yesterday for a work meeting. My co-worker was raving about the Jake sandwich so I tried it. The flavor was good, but the bread got so soggy from the lettuce. I don’t think I’d order that again. The pizza crust is pretty good. It’s thin… and has a unique flavor. Last, the salad bar plates are too small. I had veggies falling off my plate because there wasn’t enough room.
