I had been sitting outside where 2 other people were sitting. 1 a fellow bus rider, the other a drunk homeless man. This man proceeded to yell and scream at me for he was homophobic and racist. I went inside for safety purposes for I felt unsafe sitting on the greyhound benches outside. This rude and unprofessional employee needs to learn to pay attention to her establishments surroundings before she allows her narrow minded bigotry to interfere with her job duties. Once inside this woman started harassing me concerning my pre purchased bus ticket. I responded I have my ticket already thank you. Which means in a nice way of speaking, I am taken care of. The woman says well why don’t you have it out. I responded it is in my book, which is under my arm sticking out. This is when she gets rude and how she is singling me out based on my skin colour, 2 people waiting to catch the bus also nodded their heads. Any passengers of colour, sexual minorities, or different should not plan to catch the bus out of Olympia due to this employees lack of professionalism and open mindedness for her customers!!!

I went to the Olympia Greyhound a few years ago, looking for a bus to Issaquah. The clerk refused to sell me a ticket to Issaquah, stating that Issaquah was boring, overdone, and so 1995. I explained that my friend lives in Issaquah, and I wanted to visit him there. She again refused. I eventually bought a ticket to Seattle and had my friend pick me up there.
