After getting estimates from several other contractors, in the end I decided not to hire Lukens. The work would have created a lot of firewood, which I can’t use. He would have cut up the logs into firewood length and left in my yard. I don’t have space to store firewood, and don’t burn wood, so that wasn’t an option. Greg said he couldn’t remove the wood without charging for disposal because he didn’t have need or use for it and couldn’t sell it. That put an already expensive job out of my price range.

Amazing! We purchased a home with a ton of beautiful trees that had unfortunately been hacked by the prior owner.
I called in Lukens and the difference was night and day! They were informative, incredibly experienced, well-​priced and I felt that our trees were in great hands. We’ve just decided to have more work done and Lukens is the only company we’ll work with. Your trees are an investment in your property, don’t trust them to just anyone!

I am going to put Lukens Tree Preservation on my speed dial in case I ever need anything else done with my trees. Greg is smart and savvy and instilled a lot of confidence in me as a first-​time homeowner/​tree-​owner. The trees in our yard had probably *never* been pruned or maintained (except by the power company), and now we’re well on our way to actually having a functional landscape. I really could not be more pleased with my experience.
