What a delightful dinner! Starting out with Michael as our wonderful and helpful server. The food was fresh and properly prepared as very few Mediterranean Restaurants can do. They had several ways to prepare lamb, chicken, beef and seafood. Also a fire oven for wonderful flat breads and pizza’s. Prices were in keeping with the type of foods and we can’t wait to go back. You could tell the owner, Mahmet Sipahioglu has a passion and love for food. From the lamb grown in Oregon and the chicken for Bellingham to fresh vegetables. 5 Stars!

My favorite restaurant hands down. Fresh FRESH food. The meat is out of this world… The Donair will make your mouth water just from smelling the air when you walk in. The hummus is creamy and smooth and perfect. They serve complimentary, made in house– fresh pickled veggies with olive oil and balsamic vinegar to go with your pita bread. The service is incredible– if you know a lot about middle eastern food or not they make you feel comfortable and will make sure you are satisfied. Turkish coffee is a must– and the pistachio baklava is the perfect way to end a perfect meal. I will be back many, many times over! Finally an amazing place to eat and rave about in Olympia! Yay!

We recently moved to Oly and continue to look for good eats around town. Stumbled upon this gem near the mall and am quite happy! I had the shepherds salad w/lamb and beef added and my husband had the shaved lamb/beef plate(sorry I forget the name). My daughter had a cheese pizza. All the food was quite delicious, the service was outstanding and the vibe of the restaurant was great. You can usually tell if it’s good by the energy when you first walk in, and this place has great energy. We will def. be going back!

This restaurant amazed me when entering. I love the décor and it was surprising large. We had lunch here and our food was plentiful though I thought a little spendy. Ok — so we ordered side salads prior to our entrees… The food is uniquely Hungarian/Greek. The fire stone pizzas looked amazing! The service was good. I would recommend giving it a try.

Found this on Unilocal on my way from Sacramento to Victoria. SOGOOD! The pide bread with pickled Turkish vegetables they bring out before dinner was so yummy! I had the beef kebab. Served with rice and delicious grilled vegetables. Wonderful sauces for dipping. When I’m in the neighborhood I will definitely be back. Highly recommended. Oh really good service too! Chis was awesome! The owner even came over and talked to us, explaining how the pide bread is baked in their brick oven. Come eat here!

This place has amazing drinks and food. We had Mediterranean mix which gave us a sample of 5 different dishes. It was amazing. And one of the pizzas. The service was great, and best Mediterranean food since I was overseas. Defiantly will return. So excited to try the rest of the menu.

Delicious! What a welcome addition to Olympia! After a long day out and about we were welcomed into an upscale dining area, with a view of the kitchen to watch them prepare our meals. All food is prepared in house and our waiter even shared that they butcher all of their own meats. Thankfully we didn’t see that part of the meal preparation! They have a delicious variety of appetizers, food and pizza, with many vegetarian options as well. They look like they have a very well stocked bar, and a growing wine and beer list, including some turkish wines which I am excited to come back and try! I hope that this place continues to thrive!

What a wonderful way to end Mother’s Day with the mom and daughter units. When we arrived, the kitchen’s aroma greeted us in the parking lot. The food from whence it came lived up to the tasty smells. This is a very unique menu, based on the foods of Turkey and the middle east. The falafel(of which I am an addict) were different than I’ve had anywhere. There were very light, almost fluffy. My wife raved about the chicken kebobs. The meats almost had a tandoori look to their preparation. The heiress apparent had a combination plate of lamb, chicken and donair style meats. Perfectly done! All plates had a very nice presentation where the kitchen took pride not only in the taste but the whole dining experience. Presentation, in my opinion, is all too missed these days. The service was very prompt and precise, not pushy nor slow. The restrooms were clean. This restaurant reminds me of ones I used to go when we lived in Vancouver. It is not your usual«olympia» place and is a more than welcome addition to this area.

My family loves Mediterranean food. So when I give this restaurant 5 stars, that shows you how much we love it! We’ve been to it at least a dozen times over the past couple months and every time it is great. Anytime we have visitors we think it’s a good excuse to go back! We’ve tried all kinds of items from their menu. Some of our favorites: the grilled mackerel, the lamb(mom’s fave), the chicken curry, all of the kebabs, and my personal favorite, the iskender. Omg. You have to try it, it’s lamb and beef on pita with this tomato sauce kind of thing on top. It’s so great, I’m not describing it well, but just believe me, try the Iskender kebab!!! Cocktails are yummy, the wine is reasonably priced, appetizers are great, service is awesome. Go to Mediterranean Breeze, you won’t be sorry!

Very nice ambiance ! Heard about this from a Turkish friend in Rotary. Took my foreign exchange student from Kazakstan here. Both deemed it very authentic. Service attentive and seats and tables very comfortable. Note: this is NOT Greek food. grilled vegetables and Doner kebap(like a Gyro) were delicious as was the tea and baklava. Only suggestion for improvement — prices. Almost $ 40 for lunch for two. I’ll be back though.

First time visit to this restaurant and we will definitely go back. The food was outstanding, the service solid. And we even had a table visit by the owner Mehmet. And it’s an attractive restaurant.

Very good service and food. The best starter was the Shepherds Salad, it was loaded with feta cheese and very delicious. The pieces were great and their portions were. I was checked on several times throughout the meal and my water was kept filked up. The food was very hot and fresh. I had the lamb/beef donnor kebab, it was a 3 – 1 ratio and I was told by the waiter that they butchered their own meat in house. I was brought fresh bread and veg in balsamic/oil to the table when I sat down. I would definitely go back.

My second trip to MB was last Friday, a birthday treat for a good buddy who eats there frequently. I am addicted to their chicken kabob dinner. My buddy usually selects a lamb dish, but he tried the chicken kabob. Honestly, I don’t know how to write a great restaurant review, but I do know when I have a meal that far exceeds my expectations, as was my experience for the second time. My buddy also thought the chicken kabob dinner was outstanding. But hold on, that’s not nearly all you’ll find at Mediterranean Breeze. On both trips, the owner stopped by our table to assure we were completely satisfied more than once. And he means it! By the time we left, my buddy and I both agreed the sum of the Mediterranean Breeze dining experience is much more than an outstanding meal. As a testament to the success of the relatively new restaurant, expect to park ‘way out’ if you don’t get there early.

Rating is for the food(spoon salad, lamb and beef donair, otlu pide, margherita pizza, Turkish tea). We enjoyed every bite of our late lunch and will certainly be back! Our waiter was friendly, but slightly absent-minded — had to be reminded more than once to bring our drinks(and later, the check) despite the mid-afternoon calm. Complimentary bread with dipping oil came after the salads, etc.

We stopped in the night before Thanksgiving. Oy veh. Mistake. The restaurant had only three people working the floor and was completely packed out. I don’t think they were prepared for that many diners not wanting to cook the night before the main event. We ordered the hummus plate, in advance we asked what it came with. We were told pita, and some vegetables. Perfect. We also ordered our main dishes. Eventually we got some thick bread and a bowl of olive oil with balsamic vinegar and a couple of carrots and one piece of cauliflower in it. The bread was tasteless, my other half was hungry so he kept dunking and eating, and ate all of the veggies.(All five.) Eventually the large plate of hummus arrived. We waited and waited. Finally after about ten minutes or more I asked for our bread we were told that that tasteless stuff was our bread. It was the Turkish pita they serve. Uhhhhhhh… What? No. It’s tasteless. And the plate of hummus was disproportionately LARGE. At this point our food arrived. But the server had been so busy, it sat out. So we got a plate of pipping cold food. My no. 1 restaurant pet peeve. Cold food. The food was decent. But I was too hungry to say anything. I ordered the chicken shish. The other half got a cold plate of the seafood shish. His was also cooked to cold perfection. I would be happy to try this restaurant again. But only if the owners fix the staffing sitch, that was unacceptable.

Loved that they had belly dancers I hope they keep bringing them in. The food was amazing!!! The Lamb was perfect. Tried a few appetizers and I am a fan. The fafale is top notch it’s causal yet fancy at the same time. They treat you well no matter how you are dressed. The price points are on the high side but portions are decent
