An interesting little spot in the capital city of Washington — the neighborhood is rough but the food is good. The building is cool too:)

This is my go-to spot for a well priced, delicious meal that fills me up. Would recommend the gyros(what I usually get), but you can’t really go wrong, all of the menu items are delicious. The music is great, the service is good, and the atmosphere is perfect for a quick lunch.

Best downtown cheap eats. I had a rose custard there that evaporated like flower smoke on the tongue and it was to die for. The portions are big, the meals are customizable with sides and if you need a quick pick me up at night after bar hopping, they have a streetside window to serve you. Jakes is good but walk a few feet down and go to this spot for something more than a dog and fries. You will not be dissatisfied.

Yummy! My husband and I love gyros, so we are always on the lookout for a great gyro spot! In college we had an amazing place we used to frequent on our campus owned by an Egyptian gentleman! When we were broke college students he used to feed us even when we didn’t have the money! Sorry I digress… anyways we found this spot and fell in love with the food and the vibe! You know it’s a good gyro when my husband goes back for seconds! The Lamb is the best! I also want to add that the night we were in there the gentleman serving up the yummy goodness also bought a gyro for a young homeless kids and it touched me so much cause what’s good food if we can’t share!!! What a great place we are coming back all the time!

The Gyros are awesome. The meat is seasoned so well and the tzatziki sauce is very flavorful. Get on over there and try it. :)

This is a great place for a Greek lunch. The Gyro is wonderful. The atmosphere is pleasant. Salads are very nicely prepared and flavorful. And the deserts, well see for yourself. He deals in cash so be prepared, but the prices are modest. Highly recommended.

I hate short reviews, but this will be one. It’s really good, I mean really good. And they have vegan options. I almost always get the falafel. Plus the prices are fair, and they have always been nice to me, not aloof like some places. Good job guys!

Great food, friendly staff. some of the down town locals hang out in the area, allowing for some interesting«people watching» while you eat.

These gyros are excellent and well worth the price. The only issue I’ve had here is finding parking.

This place is really really really good. Having worked for some Greeks for a few years, I’m pretty well schooled in what makes a decent Gyro. I’m saying these guys get it! I walked out of there with 4 Gyros the other day for about 26 bucks including tax… I had 4 very happy campers when I got home with that little white bag of tasty tasty goodness… I’m back here tonight, cause great Gyro and 6 bucks for dinner… Winning!

this place has become an oly institution. Kenny makes some killer grub, and is one of the nicest shopowners around. the Gyro Spot started as a food cart, and has only gotten better since moving into this space on 4th ave. I’m a fan of their falafel, hummus plate, the dolmas… really anything they serve is a solid purchase. with a friendly staff, easy menu, and nice prices, this is a great option for food out in Oly. also, being open late makes them the best option for non-Reef(though, of course… i do love me some Reef) late night food in town.

THISJOINTISCASHONLY. I capitalize that because I hate cash only establishments and wouldn’t have gone in had it been for my sister-in-law’s birthday here. My husband and I drove down from Seattle to eat here with our family and it was an adequate experience. We ordered lots of misceallenous appetizers but I wasn’t waiting so I made the family order gyros, too. It was interesting because we had a nice group of eight people and we were given a couple appetizer plates to share without personal plates so we eventually had enough plates as our appetizers came out one-by-one. I was thirsty and when we ordered food we indicated the water dispenser was out of water. They acknowledged it and filled it about fifteen minutes later(and brought a pitcher of water to our table, which was nice!) I had a chicken gyro, which was pretty good. The family all had gyros and everyone thought the meal was pretty okay. It was fun and very Olympia-grunge. Support small businesses!

Good food and relativly fast but friendly service. I like it. I had a tasty gyro(I’m so adventurous) that hit the spot. I also had a delicious cup of piping hot soup made up of chicken, lemon, eggs, and some other mystery ingredients. I asked the name of the soup twice, but still can’t remember it. To quench my thirst I had a bottle of some sort of dandelion tea — this is Olympia, after all.

Came here after the Procession yesterday, so they were slammed. They did a pretty good job accommodating the crowd. The female cashier was a little unfriendly. I ordered soup with my meal and she replied, «We don’t have soup.» When I looked confused and pointed out that soup is on their menu, she explained that they were OUT of soup. Ah. Should’ve said that in the first place. Their falafel is amazing. It’s actually gluten free, made in-house, and very flavorful and spicy. My falafel salad was delicious. The tahini dressing and generous feta cheese hit this salad out of the park. It had far too many red onions on it, though. We look forward to returning on a less busy day. I want to try their tapanopita: spanakopita with tapanade filling.

Fresh gyro! Freshly cut meat, lettuce & tomatoes! They get extra stars for the vertical gyro spigot, for being local in my town of Olympia and still another for being open late past 10pm. While I was eating the gyro, I almost felt like I was in Astoria, Queens(never mind, it’s a NYC thing).
