Real five star dining with a fresh sushi bar. I had the opportunity to try the multicultural Cuisine of Hawaii by Chef Banos. Roasted pork belly Bao, Kalbi ribs with grilled pineapple, Lechon Kawali, and Lechon Fried Rice. The second night I had a seafood tower with banana size Alaskan King Crab, Prawns and oysters. The sushi chef came to our table and allowed us to try different sauces. If you want to spoil yourself for an evening at a reasonable price; this is the place to be!

Great bar the approaches a dive bar. It is very clean and the staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. The food is great and the drinks are cheap. I watched football and had the daily special(3 tacos) and two beers and my bill was $ 11. Good luck finding a better deal somewhere else.

The food was decent. My daughter and I shared a French dip with cheddar cheese. We had fries and a side salad. We enjoyed everything and it was more than enough food for the two of us… in fact we were not able to finish the plate. My husband and son shared the sampler plate… it consisted of 4 mini burritos, 4 potato skins, 4chicken wings and 4 mini tacos, also more food than they could finish and the potato skins were absolutely huge. It was decent bar food at best. The service however was another story. Our waitress was extremely unfriendly and did not interact with us at all. She acted like the other people there were way more important. I would maybe stop here again on another trip home but I definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to go here.

Stopped here on our way back from Cannon Beach with our the kids. We loved the atmosphere, the service was fantastic, food was served quickly and food was great! We will definitely make this a tradition. Wished we lived closer so we could frequent the spot.

We went here after going to pumpkin patch with 2 couples, both with infants. The staff was so friendly, the service was quick, the food was excellent and it was very clean. We decided to make it an annual event!

Recently gave them the reuben sandwich test and they failed. Bottom bread was soggy. The place itself is alright with lots to look at and plenty of TVs for game watching. The beer selection is good with plenty of taps. I would go back if in the neighborhood and it wasn’t busy but be damned if I’ll order the reuben again. Fool me once.

Had the Inferno Burger with fries and wife had the Prime Rib. Service was quick and food was good. True Sports Bar/Tavern atmosphere but everyone was quickly working around us. Lots of micro brews on tap as well as domestics. Quite a few seafood options as well. Good solid place to eat. Will come back.

This place definitely feels like an old school road house. They should get a chain link cage like they had in The Blues Brothers, and then get a good blues band. The place would be hopping. The décor runs to taps on the ceiling and various bric a brac everywhere else. They even have a Jackalope. I started with some fried dill pickle spears, which were very good. I tried some of my wife’s fish and chips, which I liked a lot, and ordered a burger and onion rings for myself. The burger patty was a little disappointing, and seemed like it came out of a Tupperware burger press. I did order the regular burger, so maybe I should have ordered a bigger burger. Anyway, it’s a fun, unpretentious place to get a beer and a sammy. Next time I’ll have to try Chuck’s chili.

Stopped by today at about 1530. Doors were closed and business sign says they fled at 1400. Not great news. I can only hope the business starts to communicate by social media to let us know what is going on so customers know when they can purchase the freshest catch Lacey has to offer.

Light and crispy fish fillets on soft warm tortillas, spicy mayo, and crunchy Cole slaw– the fish tacos are awesome! Sports on TV, pool tables, fast and friendly service– the only thing missing is live music. But that would be asking too much of a groovy dive bar where the hicks, bikers, and hippies all chill exactly the same. I’ll be back soon.

I’ve only been here a couple times for drinks, but both times were cool. Never tried any of their food. Plus, it’s right in Nisqually, so stop in after checking out the delta!

Good burgers and the onion rings were good. Pretty good list of beers on tap. We weren’t in the mood, so we skipped it. It does remind me of a biker bar, but I like that. And I like that I can bring my kids! Service was a bit slow, but friendly!

Tried the Hangtown Fry for breakfast Saturday. Terrible. Raw oysters were dumped in a puddle of beaten eggs. Cooked until eggs set and the flopped bottom side up on the plate. First cut resulted in oyster water flooding the plate and half raw oysters. Obviously, the«cook» had never seen a real Hangtown Fry.

My experience was okay. The service was fair, however the waitress did forget our appetizers. My husband got the prime rib special which was blah. It was very dry and tasteless. I got a cheeseburger, it was very flavorful. The fries were good. Overall, this place was okay.

The burger at the Nisqually Bar & Grill is solid. It came with a judicious amount of golden brown and lightly salted(thank you!) tater tots. It was on a traditional sesame seed bun that was nicely toasted and had a generous application of their tartar ‘secret sauce’. The bacon was thick and crispy. There was also the lettuce, tomato, a few pickles and some onion. The hamburger patty itself was cooked through, but not dry or tough. It didn’t have that nice crust that I like to see on a great burger, but it was in a lot better shape than the one I got from their neighbors Norma’s next door which was dry and slightly chewy. The burger also came with slices of both white and yellow America cheese which, in spite of how it looks in the photo, is nicely melted. I could question the amount of sauce and cheese on this burger, which leaned towards being excessive, but it was a good burger. The Nisqually Bar & Grill is in the lot adjacent to Norma’s Burgers but the vibe there and the general atmosphere makes it feel like it’s a thousand miles away from where Norma’s resides. The staff at Nisqually are friendly and welcoming. So, the next time that I’m hungry on this stretch of highway, I am passing by Norma’s and going in to The Nisqually Bar & Grill. It’s not that the burger at Norma’s was all that bad, though it certainly wasn’t all that great either, but, rather due to the poor customer service there.

We were intending on breakfast, but missed it by 4 minutes, when they say ends at 11 they mean it. That being said, we were in the area for an antique show and were hungry so we decided to have lunch. The food was fair, and the wait staff pleasant. They boast the best burger in town, I would not agree with that, they used American cheese on the burger, but have to give them credit they give both kinds, the white and orange. I think for a bacon and cheese burger that is 10.99 the cheese could be real. My wife had the turkey grilled sandwich, this was quite good, wish I had ordered this, the fries were good, the tater tots, so-so, they had that stale oil taste that tater tots sometimes get, any way, would not go out of my way for this place, but if you are hungry and or traffic is bad, it isn’t too bad.

From the outside it looks like any other biker bar, but the inside was actually pretty tastefully decorated. They have a nice patio and high ceilings. There were peanut shells everywhere under the tables, but I didn’t see any free peanuts! Sad face. They serve a lot of seafood, but they stuff I got was all battered and fried. My «hand dipped cod» was pretty small, and the fish was dry. The batter was pretty good, though. Clam strips were tasty, and the oysters were pretty decent as well. Their honey mustard salad dressing is good. Average food, but then again, maybe I should have just stuck with a burger! They have Trivial Pursuit cards at the tables, which makes for an entertaining wait for your food. And they aren’t the ones from like 1950, when you obviously don’t know any of the obscure questions(or answers).

Stopped in on the way to Tacoma to watch Jeff Dunham. I figured it was going to be your run of the mill bar and grill place but it was a place with quite a few surprises. I think this place was locally run too and was just a nice feel to it. I loved that they had pretzels out to munch on. The food looked like it might have been good but we had just eaten so we were not hungry. I think that if more bars had munchies like popcorn, nuts etc I would eat less greasy bar food. I’m sure that is why a lot of bars stopped this practice. I sure do appreciate it when they have it. I also liked the bathroom had a couple of stalls, hate those places that have only one stall. I’m always pressured to have to go fast if someone is waiting. It was nice to have a clean bathroom to use. The fixtures seemed newer too which didn’t quite fit with the décor of the place. There was some pub crawl or something going on when we were in here. Overall a fun place to stop and would stop in again if going this way.
