Olympia Area Chinese School

Because my mom is Chinese she wanted me to learn Mandarin so she signed me up to go here during Sundays. It started out pretty great back a couple years ago and there were lots of kids, teachers and class options. I was learning a lot and my Chinese improved massively. But then just 2 years ago on the ‘first day of school’ half the teachers left following lots of students. After that the teachers started changing and they just acted like they didn’t even wanna be there to teach us. That got me pretty annoyed and I told my mom I didn’t want to go anymore. But she insisted I go, now it’s been 2014 and I still go but honestly I feel like I’m just wasting my 2 hours there every Sunday. It’s incredibly boring and useless. I think this is because of the teachers not putting in effort and I can tell that others are annoyed cause lots of people are leaving. I’m gunna come back next year and see it things change. If it’s still the way it is then I’m gunna leave but it teachers and stuff start changing and actually start teaching something useful I’ll stay. Overall really disappointed because it started off so great and taught me so much.
