Such an amazing place! I have only gotten to go to parts of the forest as it is ginormous! There are so many different points & locations to go to that it would take months to explore it all! I recommend going here! You will not be disappointed ! Great hiking trails & tons of beauty!

I drove all along 101 around this park, we didn’t have much time so we went fast and passed a lot of things we should have stopped at. This has sooooooooooo much to do, make sure to plan your trip and spend as much time as you can!

HEAVEN. So many miracles to see and partake of here. I highly recommend the following. 1. Ruby Beach — Depending on when the sun is rising/setting, the beach gets a ruby glow, hence the name. Hike down to the beach and see the seastacks, marvelous view and stunning sealife. Campsites are nearby. 2. Kalaloch — Gorgeous place to explore the woods and see the beach. The Kalaloch Lodge is a hotel-meets-cabin type place with separate cabin rentals on the beach. Stunning views to watch the winter storms as the surf beats the land. 3. Lake Crescent — This freshwater lake is a great place to go boating and just chill out. The water is so clear, you can just look down several feet into the lake. It’s really beautiful. The surrounding mountains add to the area. There’s an inn to stay in if you prefer vs. camping. There is a lot to see and do here.

This is the most gorgeous place I have ever seen in my entire life. It is amazing here and if you haven’t been then GO. It isn’t like any other forest you will see. We like to camp at kalaloch or the hoh and visit ruby beach. It is awesome for hiking and day trips too and there are some cool local stores that sell authentic Twilight and Forks gear.

Beautiful place. We didn’t have much time to explore, probably need a full week to see everything that there is to see. We stayed at the Lake Crescent inn/lodge which provided beautiful views of the lake and a convenient location to explore from.

I grew up backpacking with my family during the summers up through the rainforest, up the Ho River and to the glaciers. This is beautiful country. So odd to have a rainforest almost in Canada — but hey, there you go. It’s a little bit like being able to grow tobacco outside of Toronto. Bodies of water like the great lakes and Puget Sound warm things up even in the oddest of places. We saw oodles of black bear at quite close range as kids. And we fished in the streams — salmon I believe and fresh water trout. We also ate tons of wild blackberries … blackberry and bear country. Stunning.
