Phoebes serves batdorf and Bronson espresso(my personal fav). Not only do they serve it, they make the perfect mochas.(I have a tough time finding great ones.) everything I have tried at phoebes has been delicious and priced right! Try the Italian Blt. Yum!

Every single item here is quite delicious! Okay, I haven’t tried the sandwiches, but the salads, cookies, pastries, and meat(and veggie) pies are better than home made(and I consider myself a highly competent home cook!). Worth every penny and the wait time required when attempting to turn left onto Cooper Point!

Phoebe’s is FABULOUS! I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve had here, and the atmosphere is so cheerful! Love the giant cinnamon rolls! And all the holiday specialty dishes(cranberry sauce, cranberry feta cheese ball). And the fruit tart. And Pumpkin Pecan Pie. I haven’t tried the sandwiches yet because I’m kinda picky on how much«spread» is on the sandwich, and they are pre-made each morning so I’m afraid that there will be too much mustard or something, and I don’t want to be picky so I just haven’t eaten one yet. My one suggestion(and the reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5) is that they offer more than one free refill on in-house coffee in their tiny 6 – 8 oz cups(or give larger cups). The coffee(Batdorf I think?) is wonderful — and you pay $ 1.95 and get one free refill. I didn’t realize that refills were limited when I ordered coffee and a cinnamon roll and $ 30 of Thanksgiving items. So when I went up to the counter to ask for a 2nd «warm-up» refill(because the remaining 2 oz in my cup had got cold), the person at the counter explained that I could only have ONE free refill, and needed to pay another $ 1.95 if I wanted more coffee. This really bummed me out — there were like 3 ladies behind the counter looking at me like I was asking for a handout. True, I had assumed when I asked«Is this cup refillable» that it meant unlimited. However, I had just spent nearly $ 39.10 there, and they aren’t able to give me another six ounces of coffee«on the house»?

Picked up my Birthday Napolean cake today and it is as close to a Swiss Napolean as I have ever tasted in the US. D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S! Thank you Phoebe’s.

High quality pastries, cookies, and breads(check) Huge and freshly made sandwiches(check) Friendly staff(check). Great coffee and espresso(check). Very clean and charming(check). Easy and available parking(check) Hometown owned(check) Free wifi(check) Yup. I think I“ve found a new place to have a nice lunch and/or afternoon delight(to clarify«delight»: pastries.) Side benefit? No street urchins to navigate as in downtown Oly. I’m adding this to my «I hate franchises» list!

The food was great! My friend and I split a fruit tart, slice of chocolate cake and a turkey sandwich. Odd location, but very nice inside and outside. We sat out back which had several tables with umbrellas. Have to only give four stars because my friend has food allergies and when she asked about ingredients the person behind the counter just replied that she didn’t know what we ordered had certain ingredients. I’m pretty sure you should have ingredient lists available for customers. Aside from that we had a very pleasent experience and I will be returning.

I enjoyed a breakfast egg sandwich in this quaint sandwich shop. The portion was sufficient and prepared well. I think I need to come back for lunch though because the lunch options looked fantastic. I resisted the yummy looking desserts — I guess I have to return for that too. We were a rather loud group of women but we were still welcomed. I hope this local gem sticks around so I can taste my way through all the choices.

First time I’ve had a chance to eat here. LOVEDIT! In my head, I’m thinking of all the people I can’t wait to bring here! The Turkey, Avocado, & Havarti Panini, Broccoli Cauliflower Salad, Strawberry Lemon Curd Éclair & Bread Pudding were all delicious! The bread & vegetables were super fresh & the desserts were mind blowing! The atmosphere is spotless clean, warm & inviting & the staff were knowledgeable, friendly & welcoming. The owner took the time to explain the choices to us knowing it was our first time there & took our order! I can’t wait to go back & try more things & bring more friends & family with me!

The sandwiches here are totally dominated by toasted carbs and melted cheese. I prefer a more harmonious mix of bread, cheese and meat, with some fresh veggies to brighten it up. So, I didn’t enjoy Phoebe’s as much as some people might. Plus our pastry was a tad stale. The ambience is not cozy, but it’s clean and comfortable enough. Three-stars is a best I can give it.

This place is a gem. I had grilled pastrami and Swiss on rye, potato salad, and an orange Sanpellegrino. It was good. What was even better was being able to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine while eating lunch. The location makes this place a little hard to find, but business seemed brisk. I’ll definitely go back and may even try a pie.

I want to give them 5 stars for their delicious fruit tart. The best. I bought this a previous visit. I give 4 stars for sandwiches. The food is very good, maybe a little expensive, but pay for quality. Phoebe has a great bubbly personality, a really good person to work with when ordering.

Phoebe’s is my happy place. Really. Good day. Bad day. I love this place. I love the happy, smiley people that greet you when you walk in the door. I love that they ALWAYS have the food you want when you want it. I love that they know you as a «regular» and that you will want«the usual»… Eating gluten-free can be challenging when choosing to eat at a pastry café. However, the broccoli, cauliflower, and bacon salad is simply the best and most satiating food I have found in months. I eat it for breakfast four out of seven days a week. I particularly love that the staff knows that I eat broccoli for breakfast rather than a fresh, hot, sticky, yummy cinnamon roll… and they love me all the same! When I have«glutened» myself their cheesecakes are delicious. And my kiddo absolutely LOVES their cute decorated cookies. She’s had everything from smiley faces to snowflakes to fall-colored leaves… All intricately decorated! Thank you to the staff of Phoebe’s for your smiles, greetings, laughter, and talents!

Met friends here for lunch. Yum. Had a Mediterranean sandwich and a cup of soup. Both were great. The baked goods look amazing. Cute space, just makes you want to hangout with friends. I look forward to visiting again.

Wow; this place is a hidden gem. I never knew about it until I was looking through job openings on Craigslist. With a variety of options of sandwiches and pastries, this place offers a warm, homey atmosphere with low-priced, quality coffee. The employees are friendly and when I asked for a mind-blowing recommendation, they suggested«orange lemon dream» — huge slice, not too heavy, and overall the best cake I’ve had in a while. Also, I don’t remember the last time I’ve been to a place with such inexpensive, but tasty coffee. Plus, free wifi. Go enjoy!

So glad I’ve discovered Phoebe’s! It’s kind of in a strange location — in the middle of an office park with some law firms and that sort of thing, but once you step inside you’re surrounded by a warm ambiance that feels like home. Here are the things I’ve tried so far: 1) Breakfast sandwich with feta, egg, spinach, and pesto on an English muffin — while it wasn’t big enough to be my entire breakfast, it was really tasty. 2) Pumpkin chocolate chip cookies — so soft and chewy and moist, with dark chocolate chips, and a swirl of dark chocolate on the top. Baked perfectly! 3) Maybe the #1 reason to go here: cinnamon rolls, hot out of the oven and covered with cream cheese frosting. The cinnamon rolls are no joke. They are GIGANTIC and soooooo, soooooo good. 4) Cup of coffee. I’m a coffee lover so I wasn’t expected to be even satisfied with the coffee, but it was solid. It’s no Olympia Coffee Roasting Co, but it didn’t disappoint for a morning cuppa joe. This place is spectacular, and I hope to they are getting plenty of support from the community because they put SO much love into their food.

Phoebe” s is clearly the special type of spot you come across where the passion and artfulness of the proprietor is abundantly evident. Excellent pastries, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and good coffee drinks are the fair. Finding it the first time may be a challenge. Phoebe’s is tucked away in an office suite complex. I look forward to sharing my find with friends. Hopefully they will expand their gluten free offerings soon.

Great coffee shop hidden away in an office park. Despite the out-of-the-way location, there’s lots of space inside and comfortable seating, as well as power outlets and wifi. Cakes and such all look delicious — I had the lovely key lime mousse cheesecake. Seems to be fairly busy around lunchtime. Four stars instead of five because they close at 3PM.

Phoebe’s is spectacular! Every single thing in the deli case is fresh and delicious The wide variety and complexity of the food available each day is quite impressive. The pastries, salads, and sandwiches are out of this world.(There is even a fully stocked espresso shop!) The atmosphere is festive and friendly. And right in the middle of everything is Phoebe herself: joyful and welcoming. Clearly, she loves what she’s doing and it shows. Trying to describe what Phoebe’s food *tastes* like is like trying to describe what your favorite symphony *sounds* like. It’s not possible. You’ll just have to come and try it for yourself. Phoebe’s Pastry Café gets FIVESTARS! And two enthusiastic thumbs up.

Went here twice in one week, if you«like» their facebook page you get a picture of the daily special… but be forwarned, you might end up making excuses on making a trip to the Westside during the day. From what I can tell, there are«staple» sandwiches/paninis(italian, tuna, ham, breakfast varieties) in the case and then a different special a few times a week. day 1 order: Turkey, Bacon Avocado sandwich, Grilled on Sourdough. mmmm melt in your mouth, perfection. This was one of those specials that came across and had me driving across town. Also picked up a German Chocolate Tart, it was delicious! Day 2: Got there late(about 2:30) and the sandwich selection had dwindled, but I would rather have fewer to choose from with the comfort in knowing that tomorrows food will be fresh! We shared a mediterranean chicken panini and a cup of Shrimp Pasta. The shrimp pasta was creamy and delicate with flavors coming from fresh ingredients, dill, bell peppers, tomatoes and of course, shrimp. Although you can buy a single slice, I look forward to the next birthday celebration because I would love to order a cake from Phoebe. Only thing that I wish was available is fresh-squeezed lemonade.
