Safelite AutoGlass

After being told by agent who scheduled appointment to replace glass and getting an email from technician morning of appointment that I would receive a call «first thing» to get a time of arrival for service. I never got a call, and I had to call 3 times to be told that I may not get service because glass had not come in yet, and if glass did not arrive and if I did not call several times over a 4 hour period then I would have been sitting around all day and never have gotten service or even a phone call telling me that no one was coming out. The email from technician was obviously automated and technician did not even know about the content of email. One of the customer service agents told me that the 6 hour window for service was all I was getting and to wait even though I had been told twice prior that it would be narrowed down to 2 hours or less. I gave 2 stars because after constant complaining I did receive some sympathy and got a little discount from manager at local branch. I was ecstatic to hear that someone agreed that I should have been notified and updated of status of service. Technician did do a good job installing glass and cleaning up mess from it shattering. Recommend taking vehicle into shop and not doing mobile service.

Had a rock chip repaired here today. My insurance co set up the appt and covered the cost. I was told about half an hour to do the work. Not only did they do a great job on the repair but they also washed all the windows and vacuumed the front floors! All done in less than the half hour estimation! Thanks for a great job Safelite!

First appt I waited an hour before they came out and told me they ordered the wrong color glass for me, cool. Next appt they charged me a significant amount more without even telling me the glass I needed was more expensive then previously quoted. I was extremely mad I will never go there again and I don’t recommend them to anyone they’re very unprofessional

Stopped in here to see if I could get a simple rock chip repair. Lady at the counter was talking on her cell phone and took about a minute before she would help me. She said they only had one person available and he had 3 cars in line. She said she could set up an appointment somewhere else. Told me to google zip codes of towns I would be passing. She was completely clueless and was not helpful. She seemed burdened by me even stopping by. Never again! Avoid!

Good location, not far from the freeway. Highly recommend this place. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The waiting area is clean spacious and comfy. They even have a huge tv… watched NFL highlights.

Darn Sleater-​Kinney road got a new surface put on the other day. Last night I was was driving home and a rock literally came from nowhere and hit the windshield. in the term of about a mile the little chip turned into a crack completely across the windshield.
Got home and checked my insurance company and they said they recommend Safelite. We are leaving the next day after tomorrow on a road trip, so I needed it fixed the next day. I brought the care by at 8.a.m. and said you can have the car all day if you could get it fixed today… no can do they said.
Did a quick google, found a competitor and they said bring it in, which I did…

My windshield had a rock chip in need of repair. My insurance company arranged to have Safelite come to my location, which was such a convenience! The service was superb! Took only about 20 minutes. They even cleaned all my windows and vacuumed out my front floorboards. Then, to top it off, they threw in a free can of glass cleaner! Even if my insurance hadn’t covered the tab, it would have been well worth the $ 65 total fee. I highly recommend their service!

My hubby had his windshield replaced today. They came out to our house and changed it within 30 minutes! Super awesome service. Would recommend them to anyone!

This place had to order a new windshield for me and it arrived in two days! I was very impressed with that and how great the customer service was. They called me to remind me about my appt. and were so nice when I came in.

Nothing like having your car broken into the night before Thanksgiving. ‘Thanks’ for that, a-​hole thieves.
And that’s where Safelite comes in. Looking ahead at the forecast, I saw rain on the horizon, but any Washingtonian shouldn’t even have to examine a weather report for that. Needless to say, I needed to have my broken window replaced, and fast.
Mind you, I was scrambling to set up an appointment with Safelite on Thanksgiving Day. Most of it could be done on their easy to use website. Should you not choose to go through insurance, they are able to provide you a quote for paying out of pocket (which, in my case, seemed pretty reasonable, still). However, after I submitted my order, I needed to change some information on the order…
My dad told me not to bother calling their 1 – 800 number because it was Thanksgiving, and I’d just get a machine. I thought, «What the hell, my Thanksgiving is messed up, why don’t I attempt to disturb someone else’s…» and I gave the number a call. A REAL PERSON picked up. He was courteous, tended to my concerns accurately, and sounded unphased about having to work on the holiday. Thank you, kind sir.
Safelite was able to come the next day, literally. They had no problem working their magic to find a rear window on a newer Pathfinder. They showed up on the earlier end of the timeframe they gave me (4 hour window), and completed the work in 45 minutes.
The broken glass was mostly cleaned beforehand, but the tech went through the nooks and crannies, discovering + vaccuuming the rest of the debris. At the end, we decided to go through insurance instead of paying out of pocket, so the claim had to be changed. Again, not a problem for Safelite. They just adjusted the necessary items and we were good to go.
The bottom line: if you are in need of reliable, quick, and proper service for a broken car window, go to Safelite. You will be treated like royalty.

I was hoping for the whole chip to be gone. Turns out where the rock hit there is a nick there now not a large chip. It’s all good. I got a vacuum, and all windows cleaned up (to bad car was dirty) the guys in there were quick, appointment was at 130pm, I got there at 115ish and out of there within 20 minutes.
I was very happy with the service. I did a at the shop appointment, no appointments available to come to me. I don’t mind. Shop is close to me. I have a new ’13 mazdaspeed3 and with a small nick on windshield and not a crack or large chip I am happy.

I HAD to get my window replaced from getting broken into at Tacoma, I know I know. SO my insurance said to go here well if you want a half done job then go ahead. They got the window done and I get in my truck tired because I was pushing 24hrs of being awake and Monsters where not cutting it. I closed the door with the rattle of glass still in the door itself. I would have taken it back but I do not see a point Oh and I have good size pieces of glass still on my dash, floorboard, door cup holders, and the seat. I know there is still glass in my vents too, which I did not expect them to get so no disappointment there. I would go somewhere else, the tech that brought me my truck had «Joke shirt» on which I thought was funny but very unprofessional.

My item was a special order and it needed to come straight from the factory. That’s understandable, no problem. They kept promising to call me back with details. They never did. I called them 4 times and every time they assured me everything was fine, that they’d call me. They didn’t. Three weeks later, my boss calls (it’s a fleet vehicle) and they tell him that they were waiting on me while I shopped around! Ugh. One more week and it was fixed.
In addition, being national, their phone tree means you probably won’t ever speak to the locals. I know I wasn’t able to.

I have had the opportunity to experience Safelite twice in the last few months for two separate rock dings in my windshield. The first was a same day service call to my house. I was traumatized over getting a huge rock flung into my windshield, leaving behind a nice sized starburst crack in my windshield and called my insurance company right away, which referred me here. Not only did I get same day service, they came to my house a few hours later! The guy was really nice and explained what he was going to do. He was done in 20 mins and the crack in my windshield was gone! Well, as much as humanly possible, but you can only see it if you squint really, really hard. They washed my windows inside and out, and vacuumed the front of my truck, which made me almost excited that I got a crack in my windshield. ALMOST.
When I took my truck in to their shop, there wasn’t a wait and the guys were really nice and extremely quick! I grabbed a coffee from their waiting room and before I was finished, my windshield was repaired once again! As before they washed my windows and vacuumed the front too! The crack this time was smaller, and was barely visible after they patched it up.
This place is really convenient and everyone is really friendly. I highly recommend this place when/​if you get a windshield crack from those damn trucks on the freeway. They make a crappy day a little better. And they guarantee their work, so if it cracks, it’s on them!
