T-mobile is a great carrier, cheaper and better customer service then Verizon. Every time I have an issue they don’t ask questions, they help work out the problem. The issue I want to talk about is their ditch and switch program. With your old phone they will give you the amount to terminate your old contract with a prepaid Visa card. These cards don’t need activation with personal information. With that said, my rebate card got stolen while in the mail to me. T-Mobile told me that it was activated and the majority of the money had already been used. They had me fill out a dispute form on a credit card that I have never seen before, asking for credit card numbers and personal information. Once I send the dispute form back to them it will be another 90 days on top of the already 90+ days it took for them to figure out that my rebate had been stolen. This is not a good program, they send out hundreds of these Visa cards a day. I wonder how many of these cards get stolen. If T-Mobile really cared about their customers they would not allow this to happen. If you are counting on this money to pay off your old account, don’t count on getting the money before collections already has the old bill. Not a smart way to do business. It will be hard to trust their promises again. When my phone is payed off I will be changing to another carrier again.

The staff were helpful but unfortunately it would have cost me more to switch to this carrier. If I had never had a plan and didn’t mind a new number I might consider this carrier. The prices are higher than other carriers across the way.

Very poor customer service from the manager. He was more concerned about his important conference call with the CEO than speaking to us about the billing issues we’ve been having as well as the poor service.

This new location took me totally by surprise; only 10 days new and next door to Trader Joes! I walked in on a whim to take care of a billing issue and was pleased to find no line and prompt, friendly staff. My request was handled swiftly during my visit, along with some good humor and laughs. Then I was offered a wi-fi boost for home, at no additional cost! I will definitely be back… I’ve already been pleased with T-Mobiles ability to offer me calling/txtng via Wi-Fi and it’s nice to see Verizon finally have some viable competition.

The guys at the Capitol Mall store are great. They were very helpful. When online customer service couldn’t provide solutions to troubleshooting… these guys were remarkable with answers to All my questions. I recommend them, especially, if you are just starting out with your first smartphone.

This location is not the best. Some of the associates there are helpful but the manager is lackluster. He actually created an issue then would not take ownership. He wasn’t rude just not helpful. He didn’t mind that I left incredibly unhappy. I left and went to the lacey branch where Kristin(the associate not the manager) was more than helpful. She understood my situation and helped more than I ever expected her to. She treated me as a friend rather than just another customer. She went the extra mile to make sure I was happy and she wouldn’t have given up until I was. I have been with t mobile for 10 years and I almost disconnected because of this issue. Kristin saved the day! So even if it’s out of your way, visit the Lacey branch where they will make sure your a happy customer :)

Thanks, T-Mobile for letting me run my jailbroken iPhone on your network, and letting me avoid those stupid ATT fees for data. T-Mobile rules, especially if you are grandfathered in to their 7.99 data plan.
