Nice selection, decent value(if the clothes hold up at all). Purchased during a sale, buy one clearance item get one for $ 5. When I checked out I didn’t pay close enough attention and I was overcharged. Went back and they made it right, just a bit frustrating that I had to make a second trip. I will be back, and plan to shop online as well, since the returns are so easy.

I don’t know why, but the sales people are really not that friendly in this store. Specially the red-headed girl. I never get greeted or offered help, but hey, when I am ready to check out they are ready to run to the cash register to get that sale. I spend more in stores that I get helped than ignored. Poor customer service is an issue for this store, besides it always looks messy.

When I went in, the girls just kinda stared at me until I asked for help. Odd. Anyways, the other girl warmed up and was friendly, while the other was still cold. I appreciate that she asked for my name and was helpful. Advice for the other girl: say hi and make contact. It’s human nature and your job. They also need to turn around and stop talking when people are waiting to pay.

This place is pretty awesome. The girls that work here are super nice, funny, & incredibly helpful. I have seen them work their magic and spread their positivity & customer service with difficult consumers. There is always such cute clothes and accessories! They have cute dresses, blazers, t-shirts, pants, and skirts. The clothes that I get from here are always super stylish and of high quality. But, of course, there is a price to pay for quality & a quant style. The Clearance section is amazing! & can slightly or largely decrease the pricey cost. Or if you’re a goner — they have a credit card.

I continue to love Torrid for the most part, but there are a few things I am not fond of. First the pros: They have a variety of cuts for a variety of body shapes(as opposed to merely sizing up and down the same basic shape). They have GREAT sales and if you shop smart you can save a lot of money. Their clearance racks are fantastic. You can also sometimes find the clearance stuff online, and save even MORE money than in the store. A wide variety of styles for a wide variety of tastes. The ladies that work there are FUN and sassy and generally make being there a pleasure. The cons: Full price is PRICEY! If you like something you better buy it while it is still there, since their inventory turns over quickly. Many of their items are made from inferior materials and fall apart quickly, or pill up so that they look bad. Some of their jeans are durable, and some have holes within six months and it can be hard to tell which are which. My previous review: I wasn’t sure about going to Torrid, especially as I thought they were too«fad» oriented for me(I like a more classic look) and since department stores do carry my size(16 – 18). However, after going to many department stores and trying on a million clothes and being SO frustrated at nothing looking good, I decided to give Torrid a try. What I first noticed as I browsed the store is that they have a LOT of different looks, from trendy chic to classic elegent to casual. The prices of the newest items does tend to be steep, but their clearance racks are GREAT and they often have some BOGO or other promotional sale. It was when I tried on the clothes that I became a tried and true convert to Torrid. The clothes FITRIGHT. The department stores may carry my size, but the CUT of the clothes is all wrong. At Torrid, the right curves are hugged in the right way! They have many different cuts for many different shapes, and I am learning to identify which of their clothes are for my shape. I never buy clothes online because it is so hard to find the right fit, but if you buy online at Torrid, you can return them to the store! Amazing! The ladies in their are almost always super friendly, and fun. I often laugh a lot when I go in there! Finally, shopping is fun!

Its really difficult for me to find good clothes that fit correctly. I’m between sizes, which means that I fit XL in Juniors and a 0−1x in plus sizes which makes shopping frustrating at other stores. When I go to Torrid to shop however, that completely changes. The ladies in this location are SO nice. Seriously. They will treat you to the nines in here. Every time I come in they always set me up with a dressing room and ask what i’m looking for. My favorite cashier is Lenae. Every time I come in she knows exactly what I want and she is such a sassy sweetheart. If shes working I make sure to go straight to her. The pricing in Torrid is a little high but the quality is usually pretty good. I love the skinny slacks they sell. They’re probably the most comfortable work pants I have ever purchased and at $ 60, they’re worth it. I bought two pairs in black and red and I have no regrets. If you’re looking to buy good fitting bottoms, come here! I also love their lingerie and dresses. Yes! Great job Torrid ladies, keep it up! I’ll definitely be a repeat customer.

I’m definitely a fan. Their pants and shirts run a bit big for me, but their dresses are FANTASTIC. They are very flattering and come in cute styles. The strapless dresses do not fall down even if you are a chesty person. I found a lovely dress to wear to my wedding reception. I got so many compliments! Torrid offers a wide range of styles. The first time I shopped at Torrid I was worried the clothing would be too youth oriented for a 30 year old. I was wrong! Many of their dresses are petite friendly, but many styles can fit average height people as well as tall ladies. If you are a plus sized gal in search of nice fitting clothes, great belts, and a surprising variety of shoes, Torrid is definitely a place to try!
