This place is great and absolutely worth a stop in. My wife and I usually try and eat at Fireside pizza Co next door when we are in Tahoe but we were really craving a sandwich and burger so we thought we would give this place a try and man are we glad we did. I had the Reuben with sourdough bread instead of the marbled rye and fries. As the waiter was bringing it to the table he realized they put it on rye. I was more than willing to eat it anyways but he insisted I should get exactly what I ordered. The sandwich was absolutely fantastic. The fries had a little curry seasoning on them which was very good. My wife had a burger cooked exactly as ordered which seems hard for restaurants to do these days. The view from the patio of the mountain and tram is just plain amazing. You will not regret stopping in for some food and a beer.

What a fabulous place! The layout is fun and varied with a bar, private alcove, outdoor patio, benches, and high tables. Love the variety. Great service and excellent flavored food choices. Considering it’s Irish be sure to have the Corned Beef sliders — with horseradish mayo. Absolutely delicious.

This place is awesome. It’s located right by the entrance into the Olympic village, and parking is adjacent. The bartender had a pretty full bar, but she came to our table pretty quickly and was very pleasant. We got a round of beers and wings. The beers came pretty quickly as did the wings. They were great! Great flavor and the wing sauce tasted homemade. They were actually some of the best wings I’ve had in awhile. They have a patio outside to drink, and there’s a fire pit that’s not too far away if you’re looking to warm up. I’d recommend this place after a day on the slopes to relax and kick back.

We enjoyed eating and drinking here during our weekend in Squaw. When we came in on Friday night, there was an awesome Bluegrass duet keeping it lively with some live music. The service was good considering how busy it was. We had some amazing appetizers. Both the corned beef sliders and the spinach artichoke dip were delicious. For dinner we had a burger and the bangers and mash. Perfectly cooked, medium rare burger — it was exciting! He said the bangers were great too! A great spot for filling comfort food after a long day at the slopes!

I’ve yet to have anything but an amazing time whenever I come to the Dub! Love the ambiance and the vibes of this bar. We always enjoy the live bands and the yummy food. I recommend the ahi tower appetizer to share, and for breakfast their burritos are fab! Its so much fun hanging out here, drinking and playing darts, and socializing with all the fun people that come here. You can easily meet people and make friends here. They have a juke box so you can pick your own music to fit the mood. Really friendly bartenders as well!

It’s the only sit-down breakfast in the village(for which I added one star), yet surprisingly has plenty of tables on the weekend. Most of the breakfast items are egg– based, except for pancakes and french toast. The fancy(non-«regular») french toast with bananas was pretty standard, but had a nice addition of vanilla bean crème which was a pleasant balance of sweet and tangy. Not gonna lie, a Bailey’s coffee was the perfect addition to this breakfast!

Awful service. I was waiting at least 10mintutes at the bar and no one acknowledged me. It wasn’t crowded. My husband waved down the bartender and i got a beer. We hated this bar and left before we finished our beers. Didn’t have the food.

Poor, poor service! I’m not blaming the serving staff b/c they are probably understaffed but we waited nearly 10 minutes for first touch point, 40 minutes for our food to come after ordering, no silverware(actually went and got it myself) and none of the food came out at the same time(for only five people). The bar staff is nice but very inattentive — you have to chase them down if you want another drink. And the food is just ok — nothing to write home about. Thumbs down overall.

After a long day of hitting the slopes my stomach was grumbling louder. Checked around the village and came across this restaurant, it was defiantly something I haven’t had. For our appetizer we ordered this amazing plate of mussels with a white wine sauce. It smells, looked and tasted so great that it was gone before we could have a photo shoot with it! :) Next we ordered a beer and a hot apple pie drink. The apple pie drink was superb. After that our entrees came and we had the chicken Boxty and the Corned beef Boxty. We we’re definitely floored away on how filling and rich they were! The chicken Boxty came with this delicious gravy sauce that was out of this world, it had so much flavor! My husband had the corned beef and loved his plate, however it is important to say no in the horseradish if you’re not a fan. Unfortunately we were to full at the end to check out the desert menu. Overall great experience, service and food. Atmosphere was great!

This isn’t the best place ever for Irish food, but it’s probably the best you’ll get in Olympic Valley/Tahoe. Overall the food is decent, but I wouldn’t say it’s special. Prices aren’t too bad considering they could get away with murder so close to the skiing.

Unbelievably disrespectful management that refused to turn down music after midnight on a Sunday and we were the unfortunate residents, with kids, of the above floor condo at Squaw Village. Rather than handling my in person complaint at 12:30am, the manager told me he wouldn’t turn down the music, was within limits, and worked here for 10 years. Avoid this place and the miscreants that run it. Everything about it is mediocre at best.

Many coworkers ate here during the lift installation. It has a great Irish pub atmosphere and some of the servers are really attentive(it helps when you eat at a spot a few times a week). I need to say that Irish food isn’t my favorite and I had a really bad stomach ache after eating the Fish tacos. I cannot be sure the tacos were the cause but that’s my guess The fish tacos were good. A little spicy and the fish was fried well. Also had the drunken mussels which were pretty fresh and the white wine sauce was great!

My friends and I stumbled into the restaurant in search of food and warmth after a morning of snowboarding. We were immediately greeted and seated. Half of the table ordered fish and chips while the other half ordered shepherd’s pie. The servings are quite generous for both dishes. A surprising addition to the fish and chips was the curry seasoning on the fries. Both dishes are $ 16 each.

Shared a Tuna Poke Tower appetizer special with 2 others and a Burger on my own. The appetizer was delicious. Washed it all down with Guinness. My buddy’s jalapeño bacon infused bloody mary with bacon looked darn good too. Reasonable prices for a Village resort.

Got the five star deal on Tuesday Night ! Food, drink, service, and tunes — all done right :) Good food — try the shepherd pie or the ahi salad :) Some funky homemade mojito that was fresh and tasty, Great beers, Followed up by music and a local crowd that kicks up its heals just right. A great place for food and fun, for locals and the occasional visitor like me :) Thanks to the crew for a great night — It’s a must do if you go to Squaw Valley !!

My husband has an obsession with anything Irish so he insisted we try this restaurant. I wasn’t excited because I assumed this would be another boring pub, but they really exceeded my expectations. The Village at Squaw Valley was pretty busy on Saturday evening of Labor Day weekend, but we didn’t have a problem getting a table here. Our waiter took good care of us and was never far away. The inside of the building is very cozy and I enjoyed people watching at our table next to the window. We started with the corned beef sliders and a couple of beers. The corned beef sliders had a great blend of flavors. There was plenty of corned beef and then the grilled onion, pickles, cheddar, and horseradish mayo really kicked it up a notch. For my meal I had the corned beef boxty. I loved this. First, I loved that the meal was served with vegetables because it seems like vegetables are usually hard to come by at restaurants like this. I may be on vacation and splurging, but I still need the good stuff too! The boxty was great, basically a crêpe, but made with potato. Genius. The simple boxty coupled with swiss and corned beef was delicious. The apple onion relish on top was fun, but unnecessary. My husband had the bangers and champ. He thought it was pretty good, but was eyeing my corned beef boxty the entire meal. This meal was also a a nice mix of items with sausage, mashed potatoes and gravy, and mixed vegetables. I was impressed that this pub was much more than a pub. I love when I can also get a great meal at a drink stop.

It’s Wanderlust and we have an hour to kill before Michael Franti goes on stage. I seem to be the only female within a 5-mile radius not wearing yoga capris or boasting a BMI of 5% or who doesn’t follow a gluten-free, dairy-free, non-GMO diet. I feel like any minute now someone is going to catch on that I Do Not Belong like I’m one of those aliens from Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Fortunately, my Wanderlusty friends still choose to hang out with me(I know too many of their drunken secrets), so they pick this bar for something to eat and drink. First off, I reel back in horror as soon as we enter. «There must be a mistake — there are only beautiful people in here!» I calm down after a pint of sweet cider and a plate of yummy fish tacos. I marvel at the ability of the beautiful and handsome bartenders who can remember everyone’s order flawlessly. Bonus: The people-watching was amazing! Bonus: Free but spotty wifi! Just give up your soul — er, email address — and you can Unilocal away. Namaste, people.
