Took the family here after a day of hiking at Squaw Valley. We requested a pizza with half Hawaiian, ¼ combo, and ¼ combo with no meat, and they obliged(which was cool). The pizza was really, really good. My wife had a pizza with pears on it and she loved it. The only negative was the shrimp pasta… only a couple of shrimp and not too tasty. But the pizza was great and the beer was cold and I wish this place was closer to where I live.

Had dinner here. Got the garlic fries and wings for the app and then the pizza of the week and the curry one with shrimp instead of chicken. The pizzas were amazing but they are small so defiantly get the biggest size or apps with a personal pizza. We ordered the free garlic bread and our server didn’t end up bringing to our table so that’s why the four stars instead of five. The service was kind of bad but the beer made me happy either way. I don’t know if I would go back but if I was in the area then I would. Also with my pizza instead of the chicken I choose shrimp because I only eat fish and they charged me extra for it and didn’t tell me.

Great service, nice employees, unique pizza! The outdoor seating is wonderful. It’s one of the only places open during the evening in the summer season, and there’s always a lot of people there. The only downside is price, which is a bit high for what you get. But then again, it is at a resort… Make sure to check-in for free garlic bread!

Very very very rude waitresses. I am Hispanic I went for a pizza and wings. The girl who greeted me at at the door was a sweet heart. However she send me to the bar to order my pizza to go. The girl at the bar kept on rolling her eyes at me. She kept on giving me a discussed look lookin me up and down like if I was dirty. She look like she was being force to take my order. Then i asked if i could get a coup of water while i waited and another gitl was there getting an order. She heard me asked for water. She grabed a cup and just threw it at me the water felI out of the cup. I honestly do not want to throw the *racist* card… but those two girls really made me extremely uncomfortable to the point where I wanted to cancel my order. I did not proceed with the cancelation only because my son was extremely hungry. I only went there because it was the nearest place near the squaw lodge. Then to top it off my wings were EXTREMELY *COLD! and DRYNO buffalo sauce at all. I was so upset I wanted to cry. I could not believe that on top of getting horrible treatment I had to pay so much for such crappy COLD wings! I do not recomemded this place when it’s bussy how it was today. You will not receive the best service worthy of the expensive price they charge for mediocre food! I am sorry I went there.

Came here for lunch with co-workers after skiing/snowboarding. Pizza, Pasta, Garlic bread, and all that carb tastes awesome after coming down the mountain. The shrimp alfredo pasta was very thick and the portion was huge! Even after sharing the dish with a friend, we had leftovers. The garlic bread was awesome– warm and buttered. The pizza are also huge. Overall, it was a great experience.

The pizza at Fireside was not entirely disappointing, but also not the best. The atmosphere and outdoor seating with views of people skiing downhill makes this restaurant kind of awesome. The day we went Squaw Valley was hosting the Earth Day festival, so there was lots of commotion, crowds, entertainment, and the weather happened to be perfect. I also discovered my all time favorite beer here. The Tangerine Wheat from Lost Coast. Service is friendly, food is good. Great place for people watching. tips: if you order a large pie, you can get two different topping choices; check in offer is a totally underwhelming garlic bread with cheese. Save the extra calories for something better. Overall, fun place!

OHMANOHMAN! this place is great! perfect after a nice session of snowboarding at squaw valley! ambiance is nice and cozy. service comes with a smile and who doesn’t like oven roasted pizza? after being here twice, I’d say my favorite pizzas were the Classic Margherita and the Fire Roasted Medley! AND if you check in, you get free garlic bread! I’m always eating here when I come back to snowboard(:

This restaurant is in Squaw Village. It’s almost like a sports bar with tv’s at every corner. It’s spacious and it has a casual vibe. They serve pizza and pasta. I checked in on Unilocal and we got free garlic bread. Thank you! It was my favorite dish. We had the Caesar salad with was okay. There wasn’t anything spectacular about it. It’s was just an ordinary Caesar. My husband ordered a medium pizza, half Fireside special(sausage, pepperoni, roasted portobello mushrooms, bell peppers. The other half was mushrooms. It was about 8 slices. I particularly didn’t like it much. The crust was too thin and the pizza just wasn’t flavorful. They offer gluten free pizza. Wish I would have tried it. I ordered the Cobb salad with tossed greens in a Gorgonzola dressing, bacon, eggs, avocado, chicken and Gorgonzola. The chicken was too dry and tasted gross. The rest of the salad was pretty good. The portion was big, so I couldn’t finish it. Two people could easy share this salad. They have a kids’ menu for 8yr olds and under. It was the first time my son didn’t meet the age cutoff. I’s usually 12 and under, but it didn’t matter, as my son wanted to share our food. The service was really good. We got your drinks and food, promptly. The drinks came in mason jars. Cute! For those with little ones, this place is family friendly. The bathrooms(women/men) has a diaper deck and there was a chair in the women’s bigger bathroom for anyone who wants to nurse in private. This is pretty unusual and it’s great to see a business making such accommodations. Overall, this place didn’t have the best food, but it is a convenient place to go to if you’re taking a break from skiing.

The pizza is absolutely outstanding! We recommend the fireside with a glass of drought root beer. Also good is the garlic bread. There can be a bit if a wait but it’s totally worth it! They have lots of gluten free options, but we didn’t personally have any of them. The brownie avalanche and chocolate chip cookie desserts weren’t that good, but the pizza is.

Came with a large and hungry group after a morning of skiing. Food was good! Soft drinks and water are served in HUGE mason jars with minimal ice, which I really appreciated because I was parched. For appetizers, we got both the cheesy garlic bread and the garlic«chips»(don’t know why they call it that; it’s basically a small white pizza with lots of garlic that’s cut into little bite sized pieces and served with a side of ranch) for the table, and I had a small pear and gorgonzola salad — all were tasty! We shared 3 large pizzas for the group: the Fireside, the Pear and Gorgonzola, and the Fire Roasted Medley. All were well-constructed(didn’t fall apart when you picked up a piece) and thin crust. I had some of the Fire Roasted Medley with lunch and a piece of the Fireside as leftovers the next day. Both were yummy!

Exhausted and hungry after a long day carving up the slopes? Pizza and beer it is! The Fireside Pizza Company is a short walk from the base of the funitel in The Village at Squaw Creek. My friends and I were starving around 4pm and scored a booth to scarf down pizza and beer/cider before heading back to our place. We chose the Classic Margherita, but I’ve also had the Mediterranean and Four Cheese pizzas. All delicious, satisfying choices! I love the thin crust and there are also gluten free options. The atmosphere is lively, filled with families and groups of parents letting go on their weekend away from the kids. It’s casual and perfect for lunch, dinner, or an afternoon snack. I’d recommend getting here early for dinner though as the restaurant fills up fast!

Was in the area for the weekend and came here for lunch. It was pretty busy and seating was limited on the inside since it was so cold! My friend and I were seated after about 5 minutes and had our orders taken. Let me make it clear before you read any further that the customer diversity was a flat zero until my friend(hispanic) and I walked in here.(You’ll see why I mention this later) They had a decent sized menu so it took a little bit! My friend ordered the Fireside Pizza and I ordered the Thai Curry Chicken. The wait wasn’t too long but there were a lot of people so it was understandable that they were trying as hard as possible. Eventually our food made it out and I was very satisfied with my selection. It totally tasted like thai curry you would get at a thai restaurant, on a pizza. HOWAWESOMEISTHAT. My friend wasn’t blown away by her pizza at all. She found it rather bland and we didn’t have cheese and pepper at our table like all the other ones so when the waitress finally did get them for us, we were almost done. So, while I understand it was busy, I felt that the waiters/waitresses were more attentive to the other customers than us. We had to ask for the sauce/peppers multiple times before she finally got back to us. Idk I had a lot of service like this when I was up in tahoe so you become very attuned to picking stuff up, especially when you come from a very diverse region like the bay area. Food was good, service could have been better.

Location: in the heart of squaw village near the starbucks and right near the lifts Service: every server is super nice and willing to help you out — even if it isn’t their table to serve! friendly and happy workers = friendly and happy customer. Food: Free garlic bread with check in? YESPLEASE. The small pear walnut salad was deeeelicious — the candied walnuts were really good and not too sweet. Mediterranean pizza was also really good(though I picked off all the olives on my slices). Medium size fed us both and we had leftovers. We ate 4 slices and saved the other 4 for the car journey back to Berkeley… though we ate it as soon as we hit the 89. After being in the car for a few hours, it got super cold but the pizza was even better cold!(Not that I’m encouraging you to take your pizza to go and leave it outside in the cold for a while) ;) Will be back the next time we’re in Squaw!

This was our go-to place when we stayed at Squaw Village for a family trip. Not only do they appear to be the only restaurant in the Village with a to-go menu, but the food’s actually really good! Over three dinners we tried the Big Mountain pizza, the Fire Roasted Medley pizza, the BBQ chicken pizza, the spaghetti, the shrimp pasta, caesar salad, greek salad, hummus appetizer, the garlic chips, all were really really good. The garlic chips in particular are really addicting. Every night, the place was packed(OK it was the week between xmas and new years), and frankly it looked a little crazy in the dining room, we were happy to take our deliciousness back up to our room! On the craziest evening, when even the to-go orders were backed up, the staff were comping drinks for those of us waiting. That was really a thoughtful act of kindness.

Great place for Apres! Food is good, pricey fur sure, service is fast and efficient. After a long hard day riding at Squaw, we were cold and starving! Decided to get a drink and a bite to eat here due to all the good reviews. We were seated right away at the counter looking over the open kitchen, it was pretty cool. We got to see the cooks make the pizza right in front of us while we waited for our food: very entertaining. We figured out that pepperoni and BBQ chicken were the 2 most popular choice for pizza orders. We got the Bolognese and a soup to share, and a complimentary order of Garlic bread with an entrée purchase. The garlic bread came with marinara sauce and tasted amazing, so was the Bolognese. The soup we got was the tomato basil and it had a very tasty flavor of basil and garlic in it, which I absolutely love. Service was very nice, fast and efficient! Definitely recommend.

We stopped in here for lunch after a long hike. Every restaurant in the area was packed, but Fireside was able to get us a table right away. We started by splitting a large Caesar salad. There was more than enough for two people to share and it met our need for food as quickly as possible. My husband ordered the personal sized Big Mountain pizza which was as described, loaded with meat. It was really again and the personal size was indeed a good amount of pizza for one person. I ordered the special, the Buffalo Chicken pizza in a personal size. It was really good. The buffalo sauce didn’t overwhelm the other flavors and I liked that they were tomatoes and onions on top. This is definitely a good spot for anyone staying in the area.

While working the Wanderlust event for Quest Nutrition the company offered to buy us Dinner and as none of us really wanted to sit in a restaurant after working an 11hr day we called upon Fireside for some Take Out, it was located just feet away from our booth and I had it in the Unilocal bookmarks for so long so it seemed like the best option. We placed an order for 3 large Pizza’s thinking that there would be 6 of us eating, only that turned out to be just 4 of us. 4 small females but with huge appetites! We opted for: Big Mountain( ) Fireside( ) And by recommendation of the staff with it being ”very popular”. The Thai Curry Chicken( ) Our order was ready on time and we also given the multiple servings of Ranch we also asked for. General consensus of the Pizza’s were that they were really good. Thin but soft dough with ample amounts of filling and not too much sauce. The Big Mountain seemed to be the most popular followed by the Fireside but the Thai Curry Chicken? Well, everybody was a little scared to try so I took one for the team and tried it. I was pleasantly surprised that it was really good. I’ve never had a Pizza with Peanut sauce on before and with it being reminiscent of Peanut Butter I really enjoyed it! Sadly nobody else tried it until the following day for Breakfast when it was cold but did agree that it was good. I’m likely going to be back in Tahoe with Quest again very soon and will be sure to return for dine in.

A couple of girlfriends and I were visiting a friend in Truckee and she brought us here for a late lunch. Everything about this place was amazing. The location, service, food and drinks. Our server was awesome, he was personable and very attentive. They have 32oz mason jars of beer for only $ 10! Total steal! 2 of the girls in the group shared a build it yourself pizza: they were quite happy with it! The third girl ordered shrimp Italian herb pasta: she enjoyed it and … so did I :). Lol, the sauce was very good and the shrimp were big and perfectly cooked! I ordered the chicken Caesar salad and it was delicious!!! I want it again. like now. We also checked into Unilocal for free garlic bread and it was also really good!!! It came out hot and cheesy. I would most definitely come here again and recommend it to anyone in the area or driving through.

Came here for a quick lunch and to enjoy the Live music playing right outside in the Village. Got the Pear and gorgonzola salad with shrimp. Salad was fine but the shrimp a bit bland. Got a free garlic bread with check in which was pretty big but tasted ok, not as garlicky as you’d think Service was friendly.
