This place seems to be run very poorly run. When calling in to ask about delivery, my wife was treated very rudely, and told they couldn’t deliver to us. We are less than 5 mile from their restaurant… I called back, and the incredibly rude kid answering the phone used caller ID to guess my address. I asked about the delivery radius, and they admitted they would deliver to squaw which is 2+ miles further from their restaurant than we are. I tried to explain my actual location to the rude kid, who chuckled and put me on hold. He then told me I could come get it and then hung up on me. Management should get a handle on this disrespectful and pathetic customer service. But I’m guessing the 3 stars this place has on Unilocal already captures the terrible service here . For the record, they should update their address lookup software or hire better people. And that’s before I’ve even tasted their pizza.

Pizza is mediocre at best. Guy on the phone put me on hold multiple times and was rude. Delivery guy showed up with only part of the order and said to just not give a tip to substitute for the refund. They knew they didn’t have the full order but never bothered to call. Tip was just assumed after terrible service. These folks seem to know they have the only delivery in town so service can be awful. Sad.

Combined 4 star review for good pizza and delivery after 18 inches of snow fell and we were socked in for the day. Such a lifesaver. Literally. Ordered the Broadway Beefer and the French Chicken. Both were very good. I liked the chicken a bit more with its white sauce, artichoke hearts and spinach while my fiancé enjoyed the all-metal combo on the BB. We got the thin crust on both and it was very good. Best part was our delivery guy pulling up, putting on his snow boots and jacket and trudging up to our door with warm pizzas! Yes, we tipped him well and would use them again.

I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza at around 7:15pm. I was told it would be ready in an hour. I happened to be running late and arrived to pick up the pizza at 8:00. It was $ 22 so I figured it would be comparable to Blue Dog pizza on South Shore. When we got home and looked at the pizza it looked awful. It tasted like cardboard too. I will not be buying pizza from here again! I have picked up pizzas late in the past and they have just needed heating up but were still delicious.

This place is crap ! Ordered 2 large pizza’s that looked like medium pizzas. Total came out to $ 50 ! Very unsanitary place they had a dog in the kitchen & the pizza cook was wearing dirty snowboard boats ! Also when it came to peppers & cheese they only gave us 2 of each for 2LARGEPIZZAS ! Asked for a little more just gave us two more peppers & told us that was it. Horrible place wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

Thank Heaven for a little kindness and a warm and tasty dinner treat! I heard about Jiffy’s over the years but when I finally got frustrated with the other guys in Carnelian who treat homeowners who pay taxes and spend their hard earned Bay money like unwanted customers and don’t answer the phone. I decided to give Jifgy’s a try after nearly 20 years up here! I was bummed to get their machine to hear they are closed in the Agate Bay Zone but gave us Carnelian friends an alternate location for delivery I was grateful(tipped driver accordingly –meaning no 5 dollar tip for 20 plus minute delivery). Anyway, calzone was awesome. We ordered a 3 cheese calzone and the little one ate nearly the whole thing. It was awesome. We also got a standard pepperoni and extra cheese which looks good but I have yet to finish enjoying my small slice of left over calzone from my kiddo! The driver rocked it and remembered all the ranches and soda’s and came dressed appropriately and the gentleman who took my order could not have been nicer! Thank you guys ! You have a new customer in me!

It was a dark and snowy night… eight adults sat around the living room, avoiding each other’s eyes and listening to the grumbling of each other’s stomachs. The question was on everyone’s mind… who would brave the frozen wasteland to hunt for some food? Thanks to Jiffy’s, we were spared. As far as I know, they are the only place that delivers pizza to Tahoe City and Homewood. We called Jiffy’s and a very friendly man cheerfully let us know that we were within their delivery zone(Elizabeth Drive). Note: You people who have rated them one star because they don’t deliver outside their delivery zone are a$$holes and you don’t deserve pizza, or hugs, or fun… ever. We called back to place our order(2 large combos and a Manhattan) and the man on the phone was great the entire time. He read back the order, answered a couple questions I had, gave me my total, checked to see if I wanted to pay with card or cash, and estimated one hour for delivery. In the city, one hour for pizza in an awfully long time, but in Tahoe in the winter, you better check your expectations. 55 minutes later, a gorgeous lumberjack Viking arrived at the door with our still-hot pizza. We tipped him well(hint hint jerks) and he rode his flaming chariot back to Valhalla. It wasn’t the best pizza I’ve ever had, but it sure hit the spot and there was nothing specifically wrong with it. It’s almost thin-crust style with a slightly spicy marinara sauce. Toppings were plentiful and everything was cooked pretty well. Think: miles above Domino’s, about on par with Pizza Guys, and not quite as good as Round Table. Next time we are hibernating for the winter, Jiffy’s is getting my business.

Customer service is terrible. Rude and a bunch of attitude. Pizza stinks. They must be in business still because not a lot of options. I’d avoid if possible.

Apparently they don’t need business. Called to order 2 pizzas for deliver and after I nicely asked 2 freaking questions ordered. He got my location, gave me total, then bubye. No name or payment cool! I called immediately back to change order and he said Sorry and hung up on me. I called back, got put on hold then call dropped(surprise!) Husband called and surprise they answered to take his order. My family has been coming to Tahoe for 50 years both as owners and renters. After a few super slow snow seasons where the local economy has suffered you’d think they’d be happy for some busy nights? And perhaps expect it during the week between xmas and new years? Definitely not. I think Jiffy is staffed by a bunch of young boys who can’t handle multiple phone lines and taking orders. Too overwhelming for them. They should smoke themselves another bowl let some competent youngins take over– you know– someone who needs a paycheck and can multitask past a 5th grade level. For sure whenever we are grabbing beers or grub in Tahoe there are tons of kick ass tahoe gals running this town. Hire them!

Service was good for delivery and the combination pizza was great. But I have to say the Chicken Spinach is not very good. I don’t think it is fresh spinach. Just don’t get that pizza. Otherwise great.

These guys that works work always make me feel like I’m bothering them for ordering food. Pizza is good. Nothing special but good pizza. But the customer service continues to amaze me. I try not to «bother» them by ordering the good that they provide as often as possible. Bottom line– decent pizza, terrible customer service so expect both of those things.

Ok, it’s true, the customer service is pretty bad, but if you prefer a non pretentious place that isnt a trendy over packed zoo, this is the perfect local joint. And why has no one mentioned the calizones?! The calazones were fantastic!!! I swear mine was nearly a foot long and filled with the perfect proportion of everything! My kids pizza was great too. Very good prices in my opinion. Its all paper plates and plastic utensils, and dont expect much attention other than having your order taken and told your pizza is ready. As for the«knuckle dragging snowboarder» comment by another reviewer; Ive spent a good portion of my life around skaters and snowboarders, and yah theres that attitude that says, «I really dont care», and this can rub a lot of people wrong. I get it because it rubs me wrong in this environment too. They might have their moments where they bust their ass, but we experienced them being too laid back and it was super annoying. Maybe they deal with pretentious bay area assholes too much and it makes them jaded, and I get that but… dont work in customer service jobs then. Dealing with jerks on a regular basis and being nice anyway is what you’re signing up for.

Big family here on vacation. We wanted something easy/quick for dinner. Ordered 3 pizzas, 5 salads. 2 of the 3 pizzas were charred black on the bottom and the crust was rock hard. Spent $ 91 bucks, $ 110 with a tip. Everyone had the same general response, the pizza was«okay, wouldn’t eat there again.» Not worth $ 91bucks. A very generous 2 stars based on the fact it came somewhat quick.

Great Za! We had it delivered and the diver was extremely nice! And fast! I’d recommend the jiffys special za or the BBQ chicken, we also had a regular cheese za and it was za-bomb! Definitely get the cheesy sticks too, sooooo good, cheap and big sticks! Thanks Jiffys!

They are receiving two stars only because the pizza was decent. The service sucks, one guy lied about the price of the ranch dressing. No one waited on us. Bad attitude and we cleaned our own table. Not coming back here again.

Don’t let the name fool you, these are pizza artisans! On a whim, we ordered the Sweet Pepperoni. pepperoni, pineapple feta and spinach. It sounded like an odd combination, but it was fantastic! Served with a salad and a fruity Zinfandel… OMG, it was a treat for the taste buds. Also note, that this is the only pizza company that delivers to the Homewood area. The phone and delivery service was very efficient and pleasant. We will look forward to our next experience with Jiffy Pizza.

I was a bit skeptical about ordering pizza from Jiffy’s based on the 3 star rating on Unilocal. Then I started poking around the reviews and the first one star review I saw referred to «knuckle dragging snowboarders» that worked there so I knew that some of the negative reviews were probably BS from someone who didn’t like the kids working there. We ordered two 12″ pizzas(chicken pesto and the broadway beefer) on the phone and picked them up. The place was dead, but that’s mostly because it was early May and shoulder season in the area. We really enjoyed both pizzas. The crust was crispy and the toppings really generous. If we wanted to find something wrong with them I can say they were pretty greasy, but still delicious. We’ll definitely order from Jiffy’s again next time we’re in Tahoe City.

We order the Jiffy’s Special Combo, Wallstreet Veggie, Sweet Pepperoni and their cheese bread and they were delicious! Our boys couldn’t get enough of the Sweet Pepperoni and cheese bread. We will definitely have them again when we return to Tahoe City. As for customer service goes we had it delivered and my husband said they were okay on the phone and the deliver driver was polite.

If first impressions mean anything this place should suck. I couldn’t even hear crickets the place was so quiet. Staff was to busy on their phone to greet me or give me the run down. Maybe it’s just the laid back CA thing, but back east we call it rude. $ 13 for a 10″ cheese and a can of soda… not making much ground up, let’s see how the final product turns out. Won’t hurt that I’m starving. Staff can’t stop cursing and talking about drinking, is this normal? I’ve read several reviews for other places in the area saying the same thing. I’ve had worse, I’ve had better. It definitely doesn’t stand out. I couldn’t tell you if it’s subpar or phenomenal for the area as I have nothing to compare it to in the area. But if it’s the best as the sign states Tahoe City is missing out. It’s not bad, but get it to go as the ‘atmosphere’ is non existent.
