This place has ceiling bars for a traditional and authentic deep tissue Thai experience!!! Rose was amazing. I have scoliosis and back pain because of it. Add in driving, cold weather and skiing and I’m stiff and pretty much in constant lingering pain. Rose hit every pressure point in my upper back and then used my legs to stretch out my lower back. She is extremely good. You won’t be disappointed! I will be back every day of this week.

What a pleasant surprise to have an authentic Thai massage in Lake Tahoe. Every Time I go to Tahoe City, I can’t resist to stop by and get a massage from Rosie! You will not regret and the price is reasonable!

Great massage. Mix of Thai and Shiatsu. Worked out all the kinks in my back. Easy to walk in without an appointment. The place could look a little nicer, but overall, a great massage that I would go back for at a good price.

My wife was having very bad back pain from sleeping uncomfortably for several days. So bad she couldn’t do much and we are young and fit. I called for a same day appointment and they got us in within a couple hours. The review below is correct in that there is limited communication. But alas, this Thai massage is located next to a Thai restaurant and presumably owned by the same family. We walked in and were greeted by a friendly young man who basically took our order (where does it hurt, what do you want us to concentrate on, how much pressure etc.) and then he translated it directly to the very friendly masseuse. It worked out great and really no inconvenience at all.
My wife and I get massages a lot (monthly membership in the North Bay) and we’ve probably had 20 different masseuses at this point. My wife came out blissful, was served a cup of ginger tea and said it was one of the best massages she has ever had. The masseuse was basically a massage ninja. This was a very authentic Thai massage. The older female masseuse was literally on the bed with my wife the whole time stretching and massaging.
Needless to say, my wife woke up the next morning and have significantly less pain. No ibuprofen was needed after 4 straight days of medicating. Her lower back was still a bit tender but it was basically miracle work.
Take a chance. Go here! The price is super cheap and undervalued in my opinion for what they give you.

My back was killing me from fall. I saw this place in town stopped by. I was directed to the thai rest. next door. I was brought back to massage room and got a hour massage. It was great i walked out feeling taller and less stressed. Only bad thing thing was limited english but that was not bad.
