Great way to unwine after some time in the hot tub. Finish off with a beer or wine. Good happy hour. Good setting and ample television. Service is good and attentive.

No need to travel further than your resort for excellent service and food. My husband and I had so much fun at what could have been an ordinary conference stay. We thought perhaps of going to the village for our dinner, but stayed instead at Sandy’s Pub. I asked the bartender, Garrett Russell, for his most robust red wine, the kind that hugs the glass and resists gravity, and he offered a tasting of a red Zinfandel. Amazing! Then I tried my usual, generic choice of a Cabernet and to my surprise, it fell flat. Say what? The Zinfandel was amazing(American Great Zinfandel, which, ironically they no longer offer). Who knew? What’s more amazing is that my husband and I just returned from wine tasting in Napa and we had a better experience at Sandy’s Pub. Such fun! Of course, it didn’t hurt that through the windows the gentle crisp air rustled the majestic tree leaves in a shimmy dance and the mountains gleamed with snow crested crowns. What could be better? And to top it off, Assistant Food & Beverage Manager Jennie Morris ensured our dinner was to order and made it just right(full rack of ribs and New York steak — no carbs, only veggies). We talked wine and well, our stay was anything but ordinary. Dining is about experience, not just food. So, bottom line – forget the overpriced Plump Jack’s which may be delectable, but may not deliver such a personal experience. Stick with Garrett, get your favorite wine, and kick back – hang back – at the resort, and just go with it. Find your favorite wine and enjoy it among the shimmery trees and snow-capped mountains.

Loved this place! Great cocktails and a fair happy hour menu. We got sweet potatoes fries and some drinks created by our bartender. This was a great place to go and enjoy.

I stayed at resort and had lunch here, the outside seatings were nice. Great view of the resort and golf course. I had the brisket fries with waffle burger. Darn the brisket was super salty, I didn’t touch it at all after a bite or two. The waffle was super thick, didn’t have the fluffy texture.

Service was TERRIBLE. Waiter was nowhere to be seen for the majority of our meal. When I waved to him that we were ready to order, he looked at me, nodded, and proceeded to do nothing about it. After he gave us the check, we waited 20 minutes before he came to collect our credit cards. The food was fine, but was not justified by the price. I paid $ 7 for wings, although normally they were $ 14. I got a discount because of Happy Hour. I COULDHAVEHADBETTERWINGSFROMWINGSTOP. The food there is NOT worth it. Go somewhere else.

Burger was great. The salad my wife had was 90% arugula and the calamari was disappointing… mainly arugula again. My advice, stick to the burgers after a hard day in the slopes

Great alternative to the restaurant in the village. The restaurant was not crowded and had plenty of capacity. Great beer variety, nice wine assortment, and the food comes in quickly. The tomato bisque was delicious so was the onion soup. We ordered two salads: the chopped salad(it is huge and filling, can easily be splitted) & the pear arugula salad — both were delicious! We will be back!

This is a good apres ski place. Easy for kids and an accommodating staff. Burgers were good. Chop salad was not. Surprisingly the brisket fries were quite tasty. Wing bucket was average. Convenient if you’re staying at Squaw Creek resort.

The food is ok, as is the sports bar atmosphere, but getting told it’s going to take another 30 mins after being told it would be a half hour wait 40 minutes earlier wasn’t ideal, especially after being told that a reservation wasn’t required. My family didn’t appreciate the lecture on dining speed from the host either. Shame, given we usually enjoy coming to this spot.

Excellent food and great service. I ordered the peach arugula salad, but they said the peaches were seasonal and so it would have to be replaced with strawberries… well put that on the menu then. The Warriors game was on the Big Screen when we could not find it on in our room. Another caveat is that it’s a tad expensive and we had to wait for a table. The burger with onion marmalade? was delicious! I’d come back.

Nice sports bar at Squaw Cree. About 5 or 6 months will keep you in NFL bliss. Pretty patio to catch the cool breezes(when it’s not howling winds) coming through Squaw Valley. They have a tendency to have a heavy hand on the selections. Lots of burgers and the typical(dated) fried pub food with a sort of Western theme. However, there were a couple of salads that weren’t loaded with fat. For instance, our onion rings were good, but our nachos were a(not so hot) mess: for too much cheese dumped in a big, heavy clump in the center. The cheese fat and water from the diced tomatoes made all the chips wet and limp. Did we still eat it? After a day working out on the mountain or golf course, who wouldn’t?

Good food & pricing is ok. The Mahi tacos & mojito were really good. The outside patio has a lot of bees but it was not unbearable. The view is fantastic!

Food here was very tasty and the server was on top of things. If you have allergies to bees or are scared of birds, I would recommend sitting inside as the birds and the bees(no pun) own the outside patio. Prices are stupid crazy high for the food. I think my burger was around $ 20 and an order or fries was $ 7.

Extremely disappointing. The tomato salad was dressing-soaked mixed greens with 3 underripe cherry tomatoes. The chicken tacos were mostly oil with a bit of chipotle powder, and the fish tacos had more mayonnaise than they did fish. The cherry on top was that all of it was overpriced. Feeling very ripped off.

The 2 stars is for the service, I order the nachos and the bucket of chicken wings with three different sauces. The nachos started off being tasty. But as I kept eating them the we’re soggy in the middle. Now for the bucket of chicken wings, as we were eating them we dip a wing in one of the sauces and found a piece of hair. I was sick to my stomach at this point. The manger came trying to convince me that it wasn’t a piece of hair, that it from the corn. What excuse me, I didn’t order any corn. Make the long story short, she took the sauce away with the hair in it. And took the the wings off the bill. I forgot about the 2 drinks we order, that was the best thing we had. I was so turn off by the hair in my food. Sorry I won’t be returning, I rather go to McDonald’s a few of miles away.

I’ve been coming here more frequently for the past few months. I have always sat at the bar and the service has been top notch; the bartenders are attentive and put out good vibes. The food is pretty good too. They recently changed the menu to include more burger options. The last time I visited I had the basil hot wings and they were tasty. My boyfriend had the salmon dish and it was out of place considering the rest of the menu, but also really good. There are TVs everywhere making it a great spot to catch a game. With constantly rotating taps, it keeps things fresh.

After a relaxing day at the resort, we found ourselves craving some late-night brews and bites at the resort. Naturally, we went to Sandy’s! Because we weren’t extremely hungry, we decided to have a few apps and a beer, and see how we felt about more substantive meals after that. We split the spinach and brie dip and the calamari while we had a few craft brews. The calamari was great, and included some delicious sauce drizzled over the top. With the marinara, it was perfect(and a pretty generous portion)! The dip was excellent and included LOTS of pita for dipping.(Also, it comes in a bread bowl… so there isn’t much chance that you’re going to run out of dip-able surfaces!) Again, the portion was large. By the time we got about 2⁄3 of the way through each of these, we agreed that there was no way we could stomach more substantial meals. If you’re looking for a reasonable, quick late-night bite, I’d definitely recommend Sandy’s. No wait, good service, and great apps for sharing!

Good service, friendly staff! A very snowy Christmas Eve and we decided to drop by to get us a bottle of wine and some appetizers until our dinner. It was very easy to get us a spot at the bar, the bartenders were fast at getting our order even thought we needed more time to make our selections. We ended up having us a bottle of Aquinas Cabernet sauvignon and some chile like wings which were really good. Next time when is not snowing like today we need to have the smores by the fireplace.
