Best après-ski place in Squaw Valley. Very good selection of wine at reasonable prices. Great for adults to wind down after a day on the slopes, especially if you want modest volume of noise. Squaw is full of places you can wait in line to get a mediocre draft beer in a plastic cup only a couple of hundred feet away. They could offer a wider set of soft drinks and nibble foods so it would be easier to go there with well behaved kids. They were really nice and the appetizers were limited, but very good.

I stopped by this place during a very quiet day/week in the area. I was looking for a bottle of wine to enjoy that evening with friends at the nearby lodge. The selection was excellent! I had a tasting and the bartender was very helpful in my selection.

Best wine bar in Northern California. The people working here are all super friendly and the wine is even better. I love the large selection of wines from all over the world and in every price point. Whether you’re looking for a $ 15 or $ 250 this is the place to go. There is a really great outdoor seating area that is perfect to sit, drink wine, and watch the people in the village pass by.

Best wine bar ever! The atmosphere is amazing and the wine is even better. They have a great cheese plate and they also serve beer for the non wine drinkers. The art work is constantly updated with different artist from around the area so there is always something new and exciting to look at. I just love this place and can’t wait to go back!

Our favorite après-ski place in Squaw Valley. Huge wine selection, great tasting menus, frequent guest winemakers, awesome cheese plates, fun and knowledgeable staff. Bottles aren’t overpriced either so it’s also the best local place to buy wine. We’re regulars at this point. Note that there are several Uncorked locations: Squaw Valley, Tahoe City, Truckee, and Northstar. I might have missed one. Oops.

Great wine bar in Squaw village. It’s little hidden at the end of the village but worth going to. Bartender gave us their wine tasting menu and we actually liked few wines. We came down on Thursday and met some locals which was nice. I will definitely be back :0)

Uncorked is AMAZING! It’s too bad that there aren’t more places like this at other ski resorts. The staff is always super friendly and unpretentious, and the owner, Kali, is a true wine industry superstar. You can always get great wine for a great price at Uncorked, and have a huge amount of fun after a day on the slopes. I had a glass of the Lumen Pinot Noir which was just what I needed — I would highly recommend trying this wine if it’s still on their list.

The most amazing interior, such a nice little place to meet with friends or go see art. The employees are all super friendly. I’m not really a wine person but I like people and a good time!

Cozy, charming and a relaxed atmosphere make this wine bar a fave of mine. No pretentiousness just a friendly staff with good recommendations and offerings either by the glass, bottle or flight. Love the cheese plate! It’s tough not order several. Can’t wait to get back and enjoy another glass of chardonnay.

Really nice wine bar. $ 10 for 3 tasters. The pours were generous too. If you go, try the port, it’s out of this world. Plus, a bottle is only $ 30, so you need not feel guilty for buying it. As somewhat of a wine snob I can say this place had top notch wines. There’s also a nice cozy feeling to the place, and our server was quite sweet.

We went here everyday for a week. Often twice a day. A friend even turned this into her office. I don’t know what we would have done if Uncorked wasn’t there, well, probably we’d spend more time at Auld Dubliner. Thank god for variety. Speaking of, they’ve got a great selection of wines by the glass at decent prices. Kali, the owner was so kind – her staff were super nice and helpful, the music, fantastic. It’s the type of place you can easily waste away your day.

A great wine-bar, and a must visit if you are a wine enthusiast in the area. Had a great ski session, wanted to have an apre ski glass of wine and I’ve got to say Uncorked was excellent. I had the Wine flight sampler(3 wines), the Flor Malbec and Truchard on the current menu were delicioso! Also had the cheese sampler on the side, great compliment to the wine as usual and it was tasty! I didn’t get the name of the woman pouring, but she did a great job! So happy that I wasn’t criticized for being a bay area gaper when I told her where I was from! just kidding! The line: Try it, well priced for the Village, great atmosphere, wine selection was great, and courteous service. I will return again for sure!

Wine tasting sampler 3 for $ 10 Delicious cheeses on the cheese plate, including one from my fave Cowgirl Creamery. $ 12 for just cheese and $ 14 with some salami — also had honey, marmalade, nuts, and crackers on the plate so gave the cheese experience lots of variety. Friendly, attentive, eye candy bartender. Comfy cute corner table for our group of four giggly girls. Best lunch of the weekend!

My favorite place to come after a day of skiing or if I am just ‘in the hood’. Always friendly, great wines, great fun and Kali rocks! Friday’s often has a wine maker pouring, specials for ski groups, snacks available and the fabulous selection of wines by the glass makes this the wine place to be in Squaw Valley!

Last weekend, I made the trek up to Tahoe for a girls weekend. We had grand plans of laying poolside and hiking only to discover it was freezing in Tahoe. Our fun was not to be foiled. Drinks were in order. We were staying at the Squaw Valley Resort and the helpful staff there pointed us in the direction of Uncorked. After an adventurous trek through the woods/golf course we made it. While there are a lot of pricey options in this shop, the store clerk was really helpful in finding our(possibly) obnoxious group of 8 find everything we were looking for(namely cheap champagne). And the cowgirl creamery cheese was yummy too! And they do wine deliveries! On a bike! We kept this as an option in case we bought too little wine…
