This place is a throwback to the early 90s and nothing has changed since then. I stayed for a week during a move. The rooms are large and mostly clean with a slightly tight bathroom. There is a complimentary continental cold breakfast in the morning.
I will warn people that weekends are very noisy. It seems that because of the indoor pool, it is the place to bring families and kids birthday parties. There were kids running around and noisy in the rooms next door all hours of the weekend.
The keycard system doesn’t work very well. There was never a time that my keycard worked on the exterior or interior doors before the 3^rd try.
Be aware that the kitchenette doesn’t come with anything but the fridge and microwave. There aren’t any plates or flatware. This is what I wanted for my longer stay.
The day staff was nice and helpful. However, the girl that worked nights was not. When I checked in with her she didn’t tell me about the facility or even where the elevators were. She was generally too busy entertaining herself rather than trying to give the guests good service.

Formerly the Doubletree… had a Groupon so why not. Had to switch rooms three times bc the heat wasn’t working in both rooms. Smh. This is Nebraska, the heat should of been working properly. Their maintenance staff is good and responds in a timely manner. But hey third time is a charm, huh. Nice interior/​the same. Comfortable beds. Didn’t get breakfast so I’m not sure what’s down there.

The hotel is showing its age. Doors stuck, air conditioning rattled, dirty carpet, etc. Our door card key quit working at least once per day. Breakfast was pretty good and the staff were very helpful and polite. The bed was comfortable. All in all, not great, but not bad.

NICELY DECORATED, BUT LACKING
My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon. The hotel itself is in a decent location. Parking is a little tight when the hotel is full, which it was thanks to a wedding occuring during our stay. The inside lobby and breakfast area are beautifully decorated. We had to wait quite a while for the only employee to check us in because he was trouble shooting another guest’s wifi connection problems.
The rooms themselves are outdated. The french doors you enter your room through are nice, but the kitchenette needs updates. Our room had cigarette burn holes on the curtains. The bathroom was extremely tiny. Everything else was very clean. The bed and towels were soft.
The breakfast bar was really lacking. They had generic cereal options, some fruit, a few yogurts, few bread items, and usual coffee/​milk/​OJ. It is separated from the pool by a glass wall, which we did not use.
I think the lobby of the hotel is the nicest feature. We wouldn’t stay here again due to the value of the room and breakfast, but it served its purpose for us.

Bought this through a groupon so rate was cheap. The room is nice sized and the outside of the hotel looks great. The lobby is beautifully done. The air conditioner leaves something to be desired. We have it turned down to 65 and are waiting for it to cool down. The room has a musty smell. The furnishings are nice and in good condition. No visible stains or big scratches. There is a full sized fridge which could easily be from the 70s… but seems to be working ok. The bathroom is the worst place in the room. Very very small. Can barely get the door closed when you are in there. The toilet is very old and has scratch marks in the bottom of it from the toilet brush. I guess that means they clean it so that is a plus. There is also something in the bathtub that has not been identified. Housekeeping could be a little more thorough. There are cobwebs in the corners and there is an old cork on the floor from a previous occupant. Because it’s not clean I’m lowering my rating to a 2.

My update… we also called about this situation. After no response from the Hotel regarding our god awful stay, I’m going to make the assumption that the Management and Staff could give a flying f about their customers.
Beware, do not stay here, I beg of you!!!
Oh, gosh I forgot, they also triple charged a room, and it took about 3 employees and two days for the refund.

Stay away. Place was one of worst ever overnight stays I’ve experienced. Given the price wasn’t expecting much but WOW did it disappoint.
1. Room had horrible urine odor, called front desk
Their solution was a can of room spray.
2. No toilet paper or kleenex when we walked in, called to have some delivered never arrived in the 5 hrs we were gone.
3. TV didn’t work, called to have fixed said it would be tomorrow at best.
4. Bathroom size of phone booth
5. Smelled like pee (yes it was that bad)
6. After all the issues of the night we received 4 free passes for breakfast buffet. I would have rather gotten a pack of gum. The breakfast was awful. Everything food wise was cold. The milk was warm. No lie the wheat bread had mold growing on it in the service container.
I could go on but if these 6 points don’t keep you away I guess nothing will…

I use to travel for a living, and this is one of the nicer rooms I’ve seen. It is older but it has charm. My only complaint is wifi is very slow.

Pros: nice sized rooms, beautiful lobby, adequate free breakfast, very comfy bed
Cons: minuscule fitness center, nothing to do within walking distance, broken air conditioning, very slow maintenance service, gross bathrooms, the worst wifi
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. It was fine, a place to crash, but there were several downsides. The staff was not very friendly, the fitness center was tiny and had some broken machines, and our AC didn’t work (Midwest heat wave… Miserable.)
I wouldn’t stay here again, but it wasn’t awful

I got this room on Hotwire for wayyyyy wayyyy cheap. I don’t usually Unilocal but the quality of the room and hotel for what I paid was miraculous.

We had seen the the rating on this place had dropped, but we had a great experience.
The owners need to update a bit, but it was clean and had a great fitness room and pool.
